The crazy thing is that even with Denver playing this bad on Offense right now they could easily be 4-1. They threw the game against the Colts like 3x and Fumbled the game against the Seahawks Twice on the 1 yard line.

If Russ wasn’t claiming multiple Super Bowls prior to the season, always talking about how all he does is win & how he’s such a winner when he missed the playoffs last year, documenting literally everything that he did during the off-season, having his camera crew with him at all times, always on social media, walking in the building with his wife & expecting to be treated a certain way & maybe if he didn’t leave Seattle in such a way where his past coach & teammates don’t like him MAYBE the criticism wouldn’t be as bad as it is. & also just playing well & not throwing pointless interceptions & reading his options at the goal line that would’ve helped too

The biggest problem that I see with Russ is that, if you really pay attention to his pocket presence--he's afraid to get hit, anymore. He's flinching a lot--and I mean A LOT. They teach you this in Little League football--if you can't take getting hit, then you shouldn't be playing. But, for me, that's where the issues START with Russ--basically, he doesn't want to be hit anymore--that's why he rarely runs the ball himself and that he just goes by his first read--he's afraid of getting hit. Period.
I disagree with Chris. Russ never carried carrol. Marshawn lynch and the legion of boom carried carrol and that franchise. Russ was solid but nobody feared him. Teams were worrying about stopping lynch and worrying about that legendary defense. When lynch and that defense left how much success did russ have? Thank you for finally saying it! Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and Doug Baldwin all played huge roles in making Russ look good and now that he doesn’t have a Tyler Lockett who will move around and come back he’s struggling.
All WRs are under credited. QBs do not put the ball exactly where it needs to be, despite what analyst or people in the booth (who are mostly QBs so the bias is also evident).
Many times they throw it to an area and hope the WR goes and gets the ball.
Aaron Rodgers threw a deep ball last week that was really slightly under thrown and to the inside. And should have been thrown looping over the outside shoulder.
But because the DB didn't look back the WR had to make a diving catch to his inside and came up with the completion. But of course the announcer says that Rodgers put the ball where only the receiver can get to it.
Last two or three years in Seattle, was fire Pete, now He's in Denver, and they are fire Hackett. Russ has a good heart, and is a good dude deep down. Hey money will mess up the the best of us. Especially if you role with Jesus; man if your ego gets out of check, God will humble you.
He humbles himself, and make things right up stairs, he will be fine in the end.

@2times2is8 no, it has nothing to do with "exclusives". Fox has exclusive rights to SNF and ESPN to MNF (it was abc before that) On the televised live broadcast of this show you would see the clips, but on UA-cam it's cut out because of the NFLs copyrights to it's own content.
Nick said it, what’s wrong is Russ isn’t under Pete’s cover any longer. The system made him look good. He had great receivers that made him look good. He had a great defense that put him in good field position and let him not have to make as many points on offense. Russ, as other well known QBs have said, is not the guy to carry a team. He’s not that great, never has been.

Peyton was 2-3 after his first 5 games as a Bronco in 2012. Then they won 11 straight. So too early to judge. But Peyton had 11 TD, 3 INT and 300 YPG in those 5 games, much better than Russ so far.

As a lifelong Seahawks fan, I am SO glad this arrogant, self centered, non-team playing, AVERAGE player getting FAR too much money is GONE! Wilson is playing just like he has always played, IMO. A few 'great' plays sprinkled in with some average plays, and some rooky looking BAD plays! I LOVE seeing that people are getting to see the RW that I have always seen.
It’s ironic that despite Russ being afraid to get hit and getting rid of the ball early forcing passes, it was him holding the ball too long on that final possession that lost them the game finally
2nd in the league for rushing fumbles, 3rd in dropped passes and id bet 1st in TD passes dropped, 1st in penalties, 3rd in sacks allowed. Then you got such a terrible head coach, calling dumb screen passes and always running the ball when its clearly NOT working. Top all that off with Russ having his first year with a new playbook and coaches, its no real wonder why they're struggling. Hackett seems to be pulling the same playcalls as Seattle did with Wilson. Hackett has terrible plays, terrible oline management and ZERO discipline with penalties. Oh you know how the defense just sniffed out a HB screen to the left and we lost 4 yards? Get this im think WR screen to the right side, theres no way they'll see that coming🙄. Russ isnt going to look the same in year 1 of a new system. Account for dropped passes, dumb playcalling and WRs not even being remotely close to where they were supposed to be and you have disaster 🤷♂️. What 4-5 times Thursday WRs werent were they were supposed to be on their route. Like Nick watch the games.
I'll feed the flames. Had the HC taken the FD against Seattle instead of going for it they win the game 19-17 instead of losing 17-16. Had they taken the FD against the Colts instead of going for it they win 12-9 instead of losing 12-9 in OT. Denver would be 4-1 and Russ did what he always has done in his career win games. The HC goes for it and Denver is 2-3. They'd be talking how Russ ground out wins into tough games instead of losing 2 games. Russ hasn't been good. But really, he put the team in position to win games if the coach kicks very short FD in 2 games.
Nick you ARE prone to hyperbole. Remember what you said about Steph never winning another chip? They are five games into the season; new offense, head coach, offensive coordinator, and QB. They are 2-3 Not 0-5. It's not the end of the world. They'll figure it out as long as they tune out the outside noise, and don't turn on each other.

I think the potential “exception” for Russel Wilson is the fact that he’s undersized at QB and he notoriously has used his mobility to become an elite QB. As you age, especially after 30 in professional sports, your athleticism declines. Wilson is simply not a good enough pocket passer at his size to be elite if he doesn’t have the element of running, so he will be an average (ish) QB the rest of his career if he completely let’s go of his scrabbling ability. Side note this is bad for Lamar Jackson because the Ravens be looking at this and think (this is Jackson at 33 and we don’t want to give him a long-term contract).
If Jimmy G doesn't step out of the end zone(and Kyle doesn't call whatever that atrocity of a play that was), Hackett might've been fired already. I mean, really. His father was an utter disaster at HC at USC. His son might be even worse.
