Funny thing is, there’s a video of Draymond explaining how he knew Poole would be ok in the league. He goes on to tell a short story about Poole coming in as a rookie and just being a trash talker. Draymond’s response to the rookie was something to the extent of, “if you can’t handle his trash talking, that’s on you”. You see because back then, Draymond didn’t see Poole as a threat. He was just some unknown trash talking rookie. Fast forward to this past season and many sports shows we’re talking about GS big three… Steph, Klay, and Poole.
