I agree 100 percent . Rob is so unique in style. He can make any band sound hard with his rifs. The best thing about the dude is he is actually a nice and genuine dude . 2004 Road Rage tour in Orlando HOB Im working the show for Roadrunner as a street team member . I introduced to Rob and Jim the Chimaira Car ! He and Jim got in the car , we blasted music and hotboxed that thing for like an hour . I was like 21 at that time . Still to this day it goes down as one of my fondest memories at a concert . Wiffle ball in Little Rock show was pretty fun too I think they played with Hatebreed and Dying Fetus that time

Not sure how this just popped up on my phone, but thought I'd give it a listen. Knew RA was a sick guitarist, but GFD this is f#$%in sick AF. Proof this dude will never be dude you EVER write off. Songwriter on another level and watching his videos of rundowns and stuff like that; he seems like an absolute awesome guy. No big head at all...imo. Hope for either this to start doing shows or a Chimaira resurgence. They'd slay!

I'm so glad to see you still putting new music out after all these years. I've always loved how even though you clearly have the skill & technical chops, your guitar work isn't always about that and no matter what, your playing just... sounds great. Like, no matter what. Like, rather than just go for the heaviest or fastest riff or complex solos, you write guitar parts with every second of every instrument of the entire song in mind. Master class, as usual.

In October 2001 I had my parents meet a sketchy scalper to buy some concert tickets, they paid $160.00 for the pair as the show was sold out and for that time was an exorbent amount of money but my 16 year old self was adamant about seeing this show. November 10th 2001 my best friend drove down 1.5 hours to Montreal to join me to my first show at the Metropolis. We smoked a few fat joints before the show and with my fake ID (full beard) indulged in some delicious colds beers. Not knowing what to expect this band Chimaira hit the stage and I remember the feeling till this day it was as if my heart jumped into my throat, apparently that's a heart palpitation, the mosh pit went crazy well that's what I thought because after Chimaira and American Head Charge.... the almighty Slayer took the stage and that mosh was a whirlwind experience like trying to survive a tornado. But I'll always brag the first band I ever seen was Chimaira and that feeling I had in my chest. At 38 I stumbled on Rob Arnold's youtube, what a great station and absolutely amazing solo projects!!!

This album is awesome! I feel privileged to have heard it. Some vocalist have such a distinct sound and when you hear them sing, you know who it is! Rob Arnold has the same connection on the guitar!
