I just imagine its a returning player thats like MR2 and bought the Titania Prime weapon access because big shotgun trying to do PoE bounties, and then the like level 30+ Sentients just started dropping and he got trounced.
Bring that to an extreme imagine like a 6v6 with multiple different enemy types. A ballista sniping, an officer spawning a turret for covering fire, A Corpus tech spawning shield ospreys, somebody playing as a Bursa. Bruh

Frankly id love to see these mechanics used as a base for a revitalization of conclave, basically drop the warframe v warframe gameplay, give us grineer v corpus. like imagine we play as a grineer with set stats that upgrade to a certain threshold over time but also with different classes (example: you play as a bombard with higher armor and uses explosive weapons but has a lower fire rate and slower run speed. or a lancer that uses rifles/smgs and is faster but has lower armor/low aoe damage) hell give each class a set ability or two ya know? I think this would give both a more grounded pvp and perhaps throw in some faction lore in there as well while giving a lot of replay ability. Make us really get an idea of what its like to step in the boots of a corpus or grineer which if done right can lead to a quest that can tie in our character with a main warframe quest where we (as a warframe) fight or team up with the very grineer/corpus we were playing as. it may even give the liches a better opportunity to be more of the "personal nemesis" that DE originally wanted if they wanted to set it up that way. Hell give us customization to the grineer/corpus we play but NO mods just cosmetics we would still have the PvE as a warframe but now PvP as an enemy faction. idk i think this would be a perfect way to give new life to the conclave and hell some more lore to the overall universe of warframe while giving us something to actually do

Honest opinion: It's hard to trust Tennocon claims after 2019 and the letdown that Railjack has been. I am really *hoping* this will be good, but like... can we trust it this time? Will it be 2021? I don't expect this or crossplay before next March / April to be totally honest.

They didn't fall silent. Covid 19 happened. They initially planned to release it on Christmas 2019, but then the lockdown started and new war got delayed. Without access equipment that needs multiple people to operate (as that violates lockdown regulations) and a large room (like Mocaps), it could not be worked on. They announced the delay on a devstream and on the forums. Not really fallen silent. Instead, they shifted focus on Deimos. If you think about it, the original plan makes more sense. Release New War, Release Deimos for Necramechs as those are sentient pulse immune unlike Warframes to combat them.
I THINK the reason we hear Corpus and Grineer speaking English is that they are now allies. 1) If they are playable, it makes sense from a game standpoint to have everything translated. We want players to understand what the characters say and feel. 2) Coordinating allies is hard even when everyone speaks the same language. If someone IS arranging a group of 3 very different groups to fight the Sentients, then they HAVE to have a way to communicate. Preferably one that cannot be hacked. Voice.
