Without spoiling , the blond guys from both first openings aren't the same guys . Neither are both dark haired guys . It's an honest mistake pretty much everyone reacting to the opening without context , courtesy of the artstyle . Jojo series are a generational saga involving a family dynasty and its name , much like Castlevania

"JoJo" isn't a person but a nickname given to people from the "Joestar" bloodline.
First JoJo (op1) is called "Jonathan Joestar" (he's the dark-haired guy)
Second JoJo (op2) is "Joseph Joestar" (he's the other dark haired guy)
Third JoJo (op3-4) is "Jotaro Kujo" he's pretty much the most popular and iconic JoJo in the series.
Fourth JoJo (op5-7) is "Josuke Higashikata" his part in the show is# my favourite with part 2 being a close second.
Fifth JoJo (op8-9) is "Giorno Giovanna". The "Gio" is pronounced as "Jo" because it's an Italian name.
Sixth JoJo (op10-12) is "Jolyne Cujoh" her part (Stone Ocean) is the latest part in the anime as of writing.
There are 3 more JoJos in parts 7-9 but they're only in the manga.
The "robots" you saw in the openings are beings called "Stands", they're the physical manifestations of someone's fighting spirit. You can think of it as thier "Personas"
If i had to describe every part in a nutshell it would be:
Part1 (Phantom Blood): Gentle man fighting evil vampire with magic sunlight punches.
Part2 (Battle Tendancy): a part American guy fighting evil super-human zesty beings to save the world.
Part3 (Stardust Crusaders): a journey across the world to Egypt to defeat a 100 year old ultimate villain to save mother.
Part4 (Diamond is Unbreakable): small town murder mystery with a lot of explosions.
Part5 (Golden Wind): there is no better way for creating a bond with friends than to take over the Italian mafia together.

7:22 Persona's in Persona game series were inspired by Stands(it is how these things that characters summon are called) from Jojo. Part 3 of Jojo manga where stands appear started to be released in 1989.

The openings literally spoil every single major plot point down to the last detail, you don’t understand it now but if you watch the show and then rewatch the openings you’ll be like holy shit how did we not notice that
Exactly like end of the world has all the knife throwing scene along with timestop and great days even reveals kira's stand name also king crimson skipping time and giorno saying nope. Jotaro getting scared for the first time as why timestop is shorter and universe reset.

I would argue that it isn't... I'd say it was foreshadowing... Then again, I think there are people out there that are super good at working things out from this stuff, so it might spoil them... And seeing some of these in advance could spoil things... But yeah, this show is so bonkers that it almost doesn't matter lol.

Okay idk if it’s already been explained but I’ll explain it once more.
JoJo’s is an anime that its main characters are all family and it’s a lineage.
So every new Part/Season, is a new generation of JoJo. And also JoJo is a nickname given to them. So technically all of them are JoJo, but their real names are different, but again, they’re all family and a lineage and it’s a nickname given to them.
Hope I didn’t confuse y’all, and I’m begging yall to react to the entire thing because it’s genuinely, in my opinion, a top
three anime.

Spoiler free intro for anime : A wealthy man have 1 son named Jojo and a thief or pickpocketer who also have one son named Dio , once the wealthy man was traveling to a place the thief tries to kill him but ends up saving him few years later the thief passes away and his son then gets adopted by the wealthy man now they have 2 sons Dio and Jojo they both hate each other i dont wanna go more deep but in the end this story somehow end up as resetting the whole damn universe and timeline

Yay my fav anime! Each part is very different from eachother. I’ve seen people watch a few episodes of part 1 thinking it’s not for them not knowing part 1 is only 9 episodes and part 2 is like a complete 180 and each part gets better than the last ❤❤❤
Btw a lot of animes and games have used Jojo’s as inspiration like Street Fighter, Persona, HxH to name a few.

It’s the strongest franchise in fiction with their base ability giving them irrelevant speed. & my power scaling subscriptions r all the proof we need, my other subs also prove it has the best written characters in anime.(which I made a playlist for) Like generic anime channel’s shirou vid, it’s billion$ budget & ufotable even come together to give us peak animation of any year they drop.

imma jsut say that every character is not the same person, or the same "jojo", its a story surrounding characters from different generations of the Joestar family
in addition to this, most of the main characters you think are jojo, are probably the daughter, son, nephew, or uncle of the previous one.
ALSO in addition, the nickname jojo is short for most of the characters first name, for example, johnny, josuke, jolyne, jotaro.
Love seeing JoJo content! As a fan of the series for over 20 years, it's easily my favorite piece of fiction ever made. Fun fact: the JoJo manga is longer than One Piece.

It is not a series that can be easily spoiled because each arc handles a different story. But narrowly speaking, they would be Castlevania, Indiana Jones and the Friendly Nazis, Around the World in Eighty Days, David Bowie is in town, The Godfather Wears Prada, Orange is the New Black meets Prison Break, Cowboys vs Jesus, David Bowie in Amnesia Mystery.
