After keeping bees for 4 years, we finally got enough full frames to harvest some honey for us, and leave plenty for the bees! I learned how to extract honey using a vivo centrifuge, how to separate and purify beeswax, and thus finally have a renewable sugar source as well as ample pollination for the plants on our farm! Extracting this sweet goodness is worth every bit of effort, and a fun project to boot!
