Most sites that pay take longer than 1 week to get paid. It can take weeks to get your pitch accepted and then published could take longer. If you want to get paid sooner, consider looking at job boards to be an online writer like what I do. It does take a bit of time to get a website or samples on a portfolio site as well as a pitch template but from there you can try pitching!

I am not a huge fan of sites that pay as it's tough competition. I have landed a gig or two when I first started. I think I was paid $200 for one and $150 for the other. I found guest posting and looking for gigs on job boards a much higher ROI activity. But I do know many writers aren't aware of these opportunities, so that's why I like to talk about them!
