  • *Google I/O 2023: New AR Features for Unity Development 🚀*
    In this video, we'll take a look at the new AR features that were announced at Google I/O 2023. These features will make it easier and faster to develop AR experiences that are anchored to the real world. We'll also show you how to use these features to create your own AR experiences.
    Some of the new AR features that were announced at Google I/O 2023 include:
    * *Geospatial Anchors* 📍 allow you to create AR experiences that are anchored to specific locations in the real world. This means that your AR experiences will stay in the same place, even if the user moves around.
    * *Geospatial Services* 🌎 provide access to information about the real world, such as the location of the user, the surrounding environment, and the weather. This information can be used to create more immersive and interactive AR experiences.
    * *Geospatial Creator* 🧰 is a new tool that makes it easy to create AR experiences that are anchored to the real world. Geospatial Creator provides a drag-and-drop interface that allows you to create AR experiences without writing any code with Adobe Aero
    If you're interested in learning more about AR development, or if you're looking for ways to create more immersive and interactive AR experiences, then this video is for you! 🎥

    Can I measure the area of the plane of a gmap location with unity using arcore?

      Not sure about that... You might go through the documentation to see if you can find something related to this

      Not sure about the geo spatial AR but the cesium is available for unreal too for visualisation

    Do you know why object is movind instead of fixed in a given lat and log in the real world. When I try to visualize my mobile phone the asset is moving with me not fixed

      Because the bad news is , Geo Spatial VPS is not available in India yet. The tracking is only based on the GPS , so it won't be stable. Good news is, VPS is coming to India later this year

      @@chinthakaabeyrathne8421 No workarounds for this on geo spatial creator but it can be achieved with niantic's light ship ardk or immersal SDK but you've to scan the area manually by yourself to achieve that

    Can you please tell about the quality of meshes for the buildings for example, I mean is it too messy like photogrammetry?

    • @thearvrguy
      @thearvrguy  Рік тому +1

      The Quality I would say is good but depends on what you're using it for...you can have a look at the quality by yourself by going to Google Earth.

      @@thearvrguy I mean google earth does not show the meshes behind right, From a developing standpoint, the number of meshes which shape a graphical 3D building is very important. But, you are right, I need to try it by myself :)

      I'm not familiar with the Adobe Aero workflow but make sure you've selected the right anchor. In your case it is "Terrain Anchor" if at all there's an option for you to select in Adobe aero

    If vps is not available in our area can't we use this feature?

    • @thearvrguy
      @thearvrguy  Рік тому +1

      You can use this feature but you won't get the 3d data... Instead you get the satellite image kind of 2d view similar to what you see on Google maps.... Precise placement of objects will be a lot more complex and in few scenarios almost impossible
