Shantanu your previous set up had positive vibe. That wing one. This dark set up is not so good. Please switch back dear. I am your interview follower from long back. Please don't consider this as negative comment.

I went to India last year during Durga Puja. Went to PNB to convert my savings account to NRE/NRO and it was a nightmare. People had no clue how to do it. Made me visit the branch multiple times, fill tons of forms and it's still not done.

Very interesting conversation and hats off appreciation to the entreprenur. I will look up SBNRI services. But unfortunately, Indian rules are not very encouraging for OCI card holders to come back and settle and invest in India. India wants to tax NRIs. 401K which is not even realized in USA.. Too much roadblocks . On Paper the Govt says big things but to catch few bad apples, they have difficult policies of Taxation for money earned outside India and doesn't feel fair or right to payup hard earned money to the Govt in India. Example. if there is a Roth investment in US which is zero taxes on withdrawal.. But India wants to tax at 30% income taxes. Why would NRIs want to return back .. its daylight robbery

We definitely want to know the perspective and thinking of NRIs when they go about investing in India specially at that time when India is rising up in ladder of economy. SBNRI focussed podcast is must. Please invite him again whenever possible. ALL THE BEST ❤❤❤

This was really good one and being NRI i can co-relate with the problem and would like to explore how it is being solutioned. I guess market size is overestimated in conversation as Wealth ($) against Investment/Remittance ($) number. You need to consider and discount all aspects of Wealth (property, mortgage, capital investment, equity investments etc). Also 3cr NRI includes non working ppl, kids etc.. so actually NRI numbers in the context of this problem is atleast 35-40% less. Cheers

Hunger is not a sign that it is God who is dealing with you. Scripture also said " a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms so shall poverty come upon you like a Bandit. That is why we need knowledge of saving and investment. It is advisable not to eat our tomorrow and the future of our children today...God bless you Mrs Nancy.
