if we are not able to create jobs, it will be a disrespect to all our previous generations hard work to create drive and policies in education to build the nation. All those parents who have lived less to create better futures for the next generations.

Could not agree more
"I'm talking to an experienced founder
I'll say something as an assertion whereas it is a hypothesis at best. Frankly it should have been a question."
beautiful.
I agree - this was off the charts
In my entire UA-cam “watching” journey of more than 10 yrs this is the first 2+ hour interview I’ve seen. What a straight forward guy Rahul is 🎉and great insights on how personal life impacts professional life.
" You assume a lot of things that are unsaid are understood " So true. A lot of misunderstandings in today's world is because of the fact that we think the other person will just "understand" it, while we don't make a single effort in clarifying it.
This feels so genuine! I think you are doing an amazing job of transferring start up knowledge to new age founders!
India has seen an exponential growth of start ups and such videos act as a positive catalyst to the success of new founders! ❤
This has got to be the best conversation on this podcast till date. Superb clarity , observations and critical Perspective.
Shantanu dropping bangers this season🔥
What a brilliant conversation. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for doing this Shantanu! This podcast is an inspiration, free mentorship session, and an opportunity to learn from the best who have already made it far to the top. Kudos to you for doing this!
Art of articulation, mind stimulating convos & what a deep dive into various aspects of businesses, the GOAT episodes hands down
Great video. But how is it normalized for the host to eat and chew during the conversation. It's so audible on the mic. You are presenting. Not having a drink in your living room.
What an amazing and brilliant conversation Shantanu. Thank you for bringing such deep, engaging, candid and relevant conversations on the table.
Being a college junior to Rahul, I had a chance to listen to him and Navneet in college in 2012 during an alumini talk and loved listening to him then and enjoyed every bit of the wisdom now 11 years later.
Can’t wait for the next set of conversations. Cheers!
Earlier I was thinking who will watch 2hr podcasts but man I'm literally blown away by the insights and information about startups and life. Keep creating content like this until entrepreneurship reaches every corner of India ❤
Brilliant!!!! So so so happy with this conversation!!! Learnt so much from customer obsession,to importance of emotional, mental, physical health to business structures to maintaining and committing and evolving in relationships to raising children!!!!! Hats off to you guys for sharing such a candid and heart felt conversation! Navneet and Sakshi were not there physically, however I could literally feel their presence through your conversations! More power to leaders like you who teach us that we don't need to choose between personal and professional lives, they can co exist happily!!!! Lots of love to Noor and Kabir!!!! Thank you once again!!!!!😍😊🙏
Absolutely amazing conversation for a new entrepreneur!
Years of gyaan very honestly put across and brilliantly articulated.
This was a wonderful conversation in which I got to learn so much about customer centricity, why India might be the best place to be for next 2 decades and so much about the startup leaders' struggle who, from a distance seem to be doing everything right. 🙏
That's such a peaceful, inspiring podcast with so much to learn at both personal and professional levels.
I wonder why some people don't hit the like button for such priceless content
Beautiful thought- strong opinions should be loosely held!
Things like parenting will surely help new aspiring entrepreneurs. Thank you Rahul and Shantanu for discussing these things.
Good one. For me I am ‘in the flow’ when hearing the conversation trying to carve out things I would like to carry. Great Indian talents sharing wisdom. Will certainly move the needle.
But feel people may also find it difficult connecting to the conversation as it sounds that the entire ecosystem is part of a family or a closed group. Will be interesting to see how a conversation with an ‘unconnected’founder be received. And let’s see who makes the cut.
Thanks to shantanu!! India is able to see their true diamonds.
Your videos makes it easy for any aspiring founder to seek guidance from These diamonds
Man I was very keen on listening his journey through RIMC, NDA.
Shantanu sir, please invite him on your Podcast again.
Amazing podcast.
Things are never as good or as bad as they seem....... Wow, such a great perspective.
Loved this podcast 👍🏼
Our own Joe Rogan❤❤ .... With less facade and facial expressions😂😂😂😂
Wow, what an insightful podcast! I can't believe I had never heard of Treebo, Rahul, or Sid before listening to this. It's so true that we tend to celebrate our sports stars and movie actors more than our founders and industry leaders, and this could be holding us back in terms of manufacturing and other industries. But thanks to Shantanu and his amazing podcast, more people will be inspired and motivated by the stories of these incredible individuals. Keep up the great work, Shantanu! Your podcast is making a real difference.
the way the conversation flowed w so many insights and banger things to ending it in a light note, loveddddd the episode. 🧠
Another amazing episode... I would like more of Rahul's episodes.... It's so real and so enriching... Amazed❤
After a very long time, I watched a podcast which was so good, it has a very good balance of work life health wealth 🤑
I fondly remember my interview with Rahul sir during the early days of Treebo, he has a different vibe and presence, he made me comfortable, appreciated my thoughts on hospitality & service during interview and offered me a role to work in his company. I cherish that brief period working with him and the team at Treebo. The confidence he instilled in me during my interview and while working with him gave me a loads of confidence and career push and since then I've taken up a lot of challenging opportunities that has come my way. All thank to you Rahul sir :)
This conversation earned Shantanu a loyal subscriber who's gonna watch every episode out there! Great stuff!

Would've loved if more about treebo's journey as well, loved it anyways, but, that chronological order kinda seems better, kinda helps relate well
I think and thank Barbershop for facilitating such deep insights and knowledge sessions that it is truly inspiring to the level of addiction. Kudos!
One feedback is to create a medium to capture key takeaways somewhere so that we can come to it repeatedly when in need. #IndiasDecade

One of the best episodes so far....
Such a wonderful podcast
At 26:27 he incorrectly mentions the rule of Occham’s razor (which mentions that the simplest answer most likely is the correct answer)
The correct rule is called Hanlon’s Razor
it was a great conversation
Phenomenal and inspiring conversation
Sahi ID se aao Biswa Kalyan Rath 😅
Amazing convo btw! Got a lot to learn from this. Kudos to the team!
I found gold.
Only the fortunate few have actually grown in India. It's one of the greatest disproportionate growth stories ever.
Lovely conversation!!
Hi @shantanu and team, its great to listen to you and your guest, however please do bring people with non IIT, IIM background but have done great in startup
It will take me years to comprehend this interview!
Wonderful Conversation.
Hey Shantanu,
Another great episode.
Just a small feedback - The lights reflecting in Rahul's spectacles are kind of disturbing the experience. A humble request to change the angle of lights because whatever the guests speaks about gets 10 times amplified with the spark in their eyes
What is the major Difference between today's startup founders and traditional business tycoons like Adani , Ambani, Kalyani, Jindal, Mahindra
Great discussion! Still planning to leave India next year.
Description wala Spotify link kaam nhi krra hai, plz check
The best episode till date! Haha! Jk

I really enjoy watching your episodes. I am not a start-up geek or follow start-ups closely, but when I look at Indian start-ups coming from IIT/IIM's (creme de la creme), why do most start-ups look like they have already been tried in the US market or somewhere else. I see very few original ideas.
13:11 Anupam MItals a exception i think
pun intended
Lots of name-throwing and internal anecdotes. It would help if you clarified this to the viewers ...what/whom are you referring to.
Job creation is the single most important problem in India now, solution is manufacturing at China scale
Bring him back
Do not shut the taps, you will become thirsty!
Zerodha never opened those taps and growing up multifold, probably luck and may not be possible for all sectors.
Hi, just want to know why many VC/ PE backed companies perform soo bad after listing?
kya baat hai
When do they talk about urban company?
Please make videos in Hindi also
Shatanu's audio is quite feeble. He should keep the mic closer
wow
