Michael, every time I watch one of your videos, they are always so clear and interesting. As I watch you work, I try to anticipate what you are going to do next. Amazing how I never get it right because something new comes along. Thank you for taking the time to make these for us, enjoy your coffee.
Wow, thank you Eddie this was a great suggestion from Anthony from the Facebook page, I have been watching Benny productions for awhile but never thought I would be able to do this type of image. My first attempt was pretty bad lol. Thanks so much Eddie for your continued support and encouragement. Thank you so much for the Coffee's I appreciate you very much.....Mike 😊
Pro tip : watch movies on Flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Jefferson Marshall yup, I've been using Flixzone} for years myself :D
Really love this! Thank you Michael.
My pleasure! Thank you so much for all your support and your comments I really appreciate it...Mike
A treat to watch & many thanks for showing us how to both approach & finish such works, well done.
Thanks so much Captain Ken really appreciate that....Mike
Thanks Michael for doing this tutorial after my suggestion. Really appreciate it & enjoyed it. Thank you.
Hi Anthony thank you so much for the suggestion, really happy you liked it ....Mike
Thank you for this. This is the first of your tutorials I have seen. I love the way you not only say what tools you are using, but you also explain why you are using it. That is something a lot of tutorial videos don't do. This is so much more helpful than all other tutorials I have seen.
Thanks again,
Razar.
Hi Razar thank you for your kind words, really happy that you like the tutorial. Thanks for watching so much appreciated ....Mike
@@MikeAffinityTuts I have been trying to copy this as I go through your video again, but am having some trouble. You use a rectangular crop tool that I don't have. All I have is the one that puts up the grid. And I have searched online, but no one has a video telling how to get that one you have. Is it something you have to pay extra for? Or is it supposed to be available on the regular version. I have the regular paid version. Not the free trial.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Razar.
@@OriginalRazar Hi Razor The Rectangular Marqee Tool is part of the regular version, M on the keyboard cycles through all the marquee tools on the Tool Bar. If you don't see it or any other Marqee tool on the Tool bar go to View and down to customise tool bar, You can add it to the tool bar from there. Let me know if this helps ? ....Mike

I've seen some tuts already on BP, but it's all in Photoshop. Great tutorial, coffee well deserved ;) may I point out that your stones are floating on water according to the slice of your world? 😉
HI Andy thanks for the awesome comment and the coffee I really appreciate it. I am calling the stone (pumice stone) lol .. !! , Thanks again for all the support ...Mike

@@procreatesurgeon4979 Awesome I have been thinking of giving procreate a go myself at some point
Nice work, the rocks floating on the left face/top is a design flaw though.
Yes you are 100% correct, thanks for watching.
Thank you so much for the tutorial.
You are so welcome Tayo thank you for watching ...Mike
Great tutorial, for some reason it reminds me of a cube of jelly, lol
Lol Seonaid ,yes now that you mention it, 🧊 I think the flavour is grape lol. Thank for watching and thank you for your support 🙂
I wanted to do that but didnt had the template.
Really nice of you doing that
Keep up that great work!!
Hey Sparky no problems at all, I am glad you found the template useful. Thanks for watching 😀
I am at the 15 minute mark and just finished the selection brush around the lighthouse and template box. If I was to start again I would probably make the original line that first went around the template when using the Pen tool, a little wider. That might make it easier to use the selection brush, especially on the long edges of the box. It drove me crazy but loved every minute of it, thank you. Did you want biscuits with that coffee:)
So glad that you liked the tutorial ( sorry in drove you crazy lol ) Thank you so much for your support I really appreciate it. ...Mike
Awesome!
Thanks Andy ....Mike
Although the final image is looking nice, the left "cut" isn't correct (and about the left quarter of the right/front cut either) unless the isle of rocks can swim. ;-) To the left, there should be rocks/sand and not water.
HI Andreas you are exactly right, I am calling the stones pumice stone lol. I actually quite like the look, I did try it several different ways so I am calling Artistic license on the rest lol. Thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated. .........Mike
to continue the pretence you could put support pillars under the rocks as if the whole ocean was built but some mysterious force
