    Excellent video!! When I saw how many images you were using, I almost passed it by as "being complicated". Happily, I decided to watch and follow along. It turned out so well that my mind is racing with new possibilities of things to create. Also, thank you for using the Tone Mapping Persona. I never even clicked on it until your tutorial, and now I'm obsessed in discovering what else if can do!

  • @widjet25
    @widjet25 3 роки тому +1

    Michael, I learn so much from your videos. I see that was the second video that you used the dark and light colors from the background for a better blend of an image. That looks easier than using the gradient map adjustment. You don’t need the Midtones color.

    • @MikeAffinityTuts
      @MikeAffinityTuts  3 роки тому

      Hi Eddie yes this is probably one of my favourite ways to try and make an image fit in to the back ground. I have watched some tutorials that make it difficult and technical, but it does not have to be. There are so many ways to achieve the same results in composites,so I am always looking for ways so it does not scare people away thinking it’s to hard. Thanks for the amazing comment and all your support means a lot ...Mike

    Nice work as always. Please, is there any way to get smooth edges after you use Erase Flood Tool.
    Everything look like stairs in the edges after using this tools. Is there any anti aliasing option in Affinity?
    Thank you

    • @MikeAffinityTuts
      @MikeAffinityTuts  3 роки тому

      Hi
      In most cases, the smoothing is best done before cutting the pixel data out, as after it has been cut it is harder to smooth. You can do this by refining a selection and using the feather tools. You can also click on select and refine edges. I hope this helps a little ....Mike

    I am francophone and the default langage of my computer is French. Therefore, your tutorials come with French subtitles at the bottom of the screen. Machine - translated these sub-titles are usually atrocious (kind of :" L'esprit est prompt mais la chair est faible" translated by: "the ghost is fast but the meat is flat"). I would like to assure you that the ones appearing at the bottom of your tutorials are incredibily good: spelling is perfect, grammar without mistake and the accents placed correctly on the right voyels : please do congratulate your translation-machine on my behalf.
