Across the United States

Hi, my name is Brad Annis and I'm 18 years old. Recently my friend and I traveled across the country in my car. We took 70 west the whole way hitting Indiana,Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah,Nevada and California until hitting the coast in Santa Monica, California. It took us a week to get to Los Angeles, California. Although it took us a week to get to Cali, we never felt rushed. We stayed two nights in the Rocky Mountains and spent a full day in Vegas. Other than that we were always on the go finding the coolest things to do in each state. All our money was spent on food, gas and hotels/motels. Booking.com is where we would find cheap hotel rooms along the way. We spent two days in Cali and started heading back on the night of day 9. On the way back we went through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma,Missouri, Illinois and Indiana. It only took us 4 days to get back to our home in Westerville, Ohio from Cali. We didn't see as much on the way back as on the way there but it was still fun. This trip will always be one of my favorite memories. Whatever I decide to do later in life I just want to be able to step away sometimes and take trips like these. Not only was this a trip for me but also a learning experience. I would recommend anyone who has just finished high school or college to go out and travel the country. LIVE MORE.
