    Our fanbase has to wake up to injuries. Its honestly insane it has to be brought up with all the horrible injury luck we have had since our existence, and even a lot of injuries' with SGA since hes been here and a full freaking season of Chet being out just a year ago lol. We just had one great health season and our fanbase acts like every single game and scenario we will have access to our entire roster for every minute of the game we want them. If the best value and assets you can get duplicate a little, WHILE YOU STILL HAVE A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF ASSETS AND MONEY TO FILL MORE ROLES AND SPOTS, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with having those extra players. We WILL have times with injuries where these multitudes of guards and wings that are great at the things every team wants will be what saves us.

      our top 8 rotation players missed 31 games combined. that’s unheard of, I agree put a lot of the chips in! Don’t even have to be all the chips, we have so many. Hartenstein or Claxton probably aren’t it, definitely not Capela, but do something

      We can attribute this to the fact that we could go 11 players deep in the rotation this year compared to last and previous years.

    You don't have to worry where AC fits. Is he a "starter" or bench piece? He doesn't care about starting. He likes closing. And he'll def do that for Okc. The Bulls were the winningest team in clutch time last season. That was for two reasons. Caruso and DeMar. If he starts? It'll be because it makes sense concerning the roster. If he comes off the bench for 20-25 minutes a night? He won't complain. He's a complete all around good basketball player. Okc dd well picking him up.

      Also Presti is definitely not done this offseason. He knows he lost length with Giddey leaving and I’m convinced the rest of the offseason he is focused on a couple frontcourt moves

      Right. How was Giddey a fit? We gotta view him as the player he was last year, not who he was or who we assume he’ll be. Idk how anyone is having problems with this. Giddey is a project where Caruso is a great role player for a contending team.

      @@mikielsahagun6054 once again it’s true they made it that far without it, however, having a counter off the bench is a luxury this team can possibly do. This team is in a position to not settle with “good enough “ but be dominant over the next 3 years. I’m not saying signing or trading for high dollar guys, but getting reasonable backups such as Finney-Smith, Adjvia, or moving up in the draft for Clingan. Would be great for Clingan’s development. Focus on his big man game and grow on his 3 abilities

    I dont think it happens this summer but I think this move sets up for Lu to get traded next summer when it’s time to pay Caruso like the Derrick White move lead to the end of Marcus Smart in Boston. If we add a big wing I can see Caruso taking a chunk of Lu’s mins come playoff time due to him being a better decision maker on offense

    Guys. Jack Black's best movie by a SUBSTANTIAL margin is High Fidelity. With all the terrible movies you guys listed, I can't believe you didn't mention High Fidelity.
    It's a cult classic:
    John Cusack. Top Fives. Mix-tapes. Break-ups. Record Store Shenanigans. Pettiness... and quotes for days.
    Nobody had really heard Jack Black sing before that movie.... and it was such a special moment in an incredibly clever, dark, quirky, funny film.
    If you haven't seen it. You should!! That's for anybody that reads this comment, by the way. ❤❤

    Giddey is 3 inches taller than Caruso but brings nothing more than passing. Caruso also only averaged 1.3 less assists per game so it’s not like he’s one dimensional. Presti talking about how Caruso guards bigger wings was a sign he’ll start to me. The lineup is small but giddey was a 6’8 ball handler, the 3 inches will not be noticed when Caruso is locking players up.

    • @OliverWhale
      @OliverWhale 7 місяців тому

      the only issue is Giddey was averaging double the rebounds that Caruso is, and we're already one of the worst teams in the league there

    • @jdh9676
      @jdh9676 7 місяців тому

      Caruso can def guard 1-3 with no issue and even smaller 4's though he has said he prefers not guard the 4 because he gets banged up. And of course in the post if he's 1-1 with a 6'9 or 6'10 guy they can just shoot over him. But he's had good games against Randle, PG, Ingram, Leonard. Even Durant. You can stick him to Bron. These aren't ideal match ups for him but he can be effective. He's a "thinking" defender. But on the Bulls he actually morphed into a 3&D wing player. "Positionless" in every respect. Hasn't really played a traditional guard role for two seasons. Its easy to forget the Bulls picked him up to back-up 'Zo off the bench. AC had been a PG all his life, holds the assists record at Texas A&M. That changed with the Bulls as the roster had other needs and as an NBA PG? In all honesty AC is very average. He can run the point but he's not very dynamic, a back up at best. Main concern with him is shooting. He's "good enough" but you don't want to count on him for it, or scoring. Thunder have that covered, though. But if AC gets 7 points one game playing the SG and the team loses by 2? You don't want to be in position to blame him for not taking more shots, or having a bad night. He averaged 10ppg last season. Presti knows that. Expect that and nothing more and everyone should be happy. Personally I think depending on minutes given and usage that can tick up a bit on Okc.

      I never heard anything about Giddeys insane rebounding ability on a team that couldn't rebound. He led us in boards by a big margin his first 2 years. And wasn't far behind Chet this year in limited minutes. I like Caruso, but we need to get a big that can scarf up rebounds. And stop giving teams 3 or 4 second chance opportunities. This is a great organization, but it has always put boards as it's least important priority.

    • @jackiemoon5906

      @@725jenks I should’ve added rebounds since he was second on the team. Surprisingly Shai was third. Andrew always states how Presti said he’d rather be a great defensive team than a great rebounding team but can’t we try to combine the two lol

    in a trade it would be Lu and his money before cason and us getting more cheap years of cason (and way higher upside)
    Giddey also has negative wingspan at 6-7.5 and caruso wingspan is 6-6 so youre not losing 4 inches defensively and not really giving up a big wing for a smaller one overall. I dont think thats the starting lineup by the start of the season, Caruso off the bench is still their goal imo, but we definitely can run the Caso Dort Caruso trio together as much as we want or have to

    • @jackiemoon5906
      @jackiemoon5906 7 місяців тому

      While talking giddey his height is so overrated. He’s 6’8 but plays like an average 6’4 point guard. But I hope we don’t trade Lu, he’s not a perfect player but he is not scared in the playoffs. You need players like that. Plus would you really want to bringing in a star and disrupt the team chemistry? I know I wouldn’t touch Paul George selfish ass for Dort and a second.
