How do you hook up LOC if it has bose sound system? I tried exactly the same like you did but sub is not producing the big punch. Everything tested and is fine. Found out on net Loc needs to hook up to the wires which are connected to factory amp.
I didn't catch it or maybe you didn't mentioned it. Did you used a 12, 10, or 8 gaged power cable? The red one. I've seen people using 8. I think is a over kill. What do you think and what do you use?
@ghostlyrich thank you for your response. I always used 8. However, I've seen people using 10. I always thought there's a risk for a 10 gauge to get hot.
@@Rey_M there definitely is a risk if it starts pulling more than that wire can put out it will heat up. I’ve seen it happen with a gauge 8 gauge when 4 gauge should have been used.
Unless the speaker wires have changed from the factory from a 2017 model to a 2021 model, then the black wire (right side) is pos and the yellow is neg. On the left side you state it correctly as green pos and orange neg. Also, it would be good to note that if the amp has High level inputs and an auto on switch, then it is not required to use a LOC. Thanks
@@ghostlyrich I was just wondering if the side marker leds is possible to be replaced? Because, I have this model but for Middle Eastern countries and the dealership didn't request the side markers. if possible to know how to add it that would be great.
Why not run it from the back of the dash unit with a remote wire? Also, why solder instead of using good clamp connectors? Similar time if not faster, and no cost of whatever that LS item is if you have a way to do that. You can also install a switch and turn the woofer on and off on top of it being a remote with auto shut off. I’ve never looked at the back of a dash unit so I honestly don’t know.
I have always soldered all my life and prefer the connection. The lc2i is allot better at handling roll off from the amp and saves allot of time just being able to grab signal from the rear speakers or existing sub woofer. Also gives you the ability to increase the bass signal being sent to the amp. Well worth the extra money if not replacing the deck.
If you have only had the car a month I highly bring it back to the dealer and have the fix it. If you try to mess with it yourself they might try not to warranty it. Just in case the amp was defective might be a good idea.
So this has an automatic remote turn on built into the lc2i which turns the amp off after a certain amount of time it doesn't see signal it could take about 15 minutes after the vehicle's off you also have to lock your vehicle for your system to go to sleep
If that doesn't work you can wire a remote turn on wire that I mentioned later on in the video to that white plug and it will turn on your app when the vehicle goes into accessory mode and then when you start it as well
Where is the bump bump part of the video??

Awesome! Love the RED seats ,
Can a full system (2500 watts) be put in the 2022 plug-in hybrid if adding an extra battery?
So are you getting the input from the front door speakers or the back door speakers. It looks like you have the front door panel off also?
Can I splice instead of solder? I ordered the same LOC and want to do this on my 2017 Kia Sportage
Absolutely FANTASTIC!
U think this will be the same for k5?
Are you wearing the Jordan 1 newspapers?
How did you get red seats?

8 gauge power cable :) dont use anything less in my personal opinion

Great job man... just curious, do you remember the length of power wire you needed to mount the amp under the driver seat?
I always just grab the 17ft amp wire kit usually so i have more than enough
Thanks 🙏
you still have the 21 KIA Sorento?
Is a friends vehicle. Yes he still has it

Did you ran speaker wire from left and right passenger speakers
Yes I did very easy to grab in the center pillar
Nice thanks.... what size was the subwoofer box
Can you show you to change a radio In the 21 Kia Sorento
Does the remote wire still connect to the head unit?
did you ever figure it ou i am trying to wire up a subwoofer and i cant seem to get my amp to power up
So u end it with out showing it works wtf
All that and we didn't get to hear the sub? Is there a part deux?
The sub is very hard to show over the internet, it distorts the camera mic and also i didnt have access to copy right free music
What's the wiring colors I'm installing RCA converter behind radio
I need this done for sure. I don’t trust anyone around me
They're probably seat covers that you can buy, I like them too 🤗
How do you stop amp from losing power or sounds just stopped altogether during shutdown at red lights
Turn off the automatic engine stall. It should be a button by the steering wheel
❤❤

@ghostlyrich does the lc2i give the amp the remote signal or does it come from somewhere else?
@@Iambrandon369 it has signal, sensing so as soon as it feels input voltage through the speaker wires it sends a remote trigger to turn the amp on
@@ghostlyrich awesome, thank you
any one got a raido diagram for a 2022 kia serento ?
where is the factory amp? I got a Sorento a month ago and I just lost all audio. Everything else works fine but no audio to and speakers.

@@ghostlyrich TY. I have an appointment at the dealer on the 10th. I feel like it may be a fuse but there is no explanation for how it happened
hey i have a question, how do i wire my power so it doesnt drain the battery when the car is off?

factory amp is just built-in to the head unit on most sorrento models.
Is this GT? I guess GT already comes with a sub.
Bump bump??
