Duel Links that Not many players is know about is the yugioh duel links data transfer which results in thousands of players losing their accounts and all of the progress they've made! Today I've made a Guide on How to Data Transfer in yugioh duel links so that you can back up your accounts to a Konami ID and I also teach you guys how to recover your "Lost" Duel Links Accounts! Hey, random question, How do i unlock the 40 lvl duelist in the gate, mine only go up to 30 lvl
I think i overwrote my acc with a new one i just opened , does this mean my acc is gone forever . I tried to search it with the ID it had , but it would not come up and when i search using the name it had the results dont show it eather ! Is there anything i can do ?!

@@kirtuship2500 Yeah man , i had been playing for three years had almost every f2p deck and a couple who were op when i started ( crystron , i build this when the pack came out , cuz i loved crystron , and they actualy become T1)

After reading alot of these comments I'm not all that hopeful. I spent 3 years on that account and I lost it 385 days ago.
I guess its my fault for no setting up my Konami ID but I just assumed the app would be linked to my Google play account by default.
I submitted my forum and I'm waiting to see what happens. I really hope I get it back. Its likely that I won't, I had so many decks back on that account I can't remember which character or deck I was using at the time.
Its just so crazy to think that over 4000 hours of my life could really be gone like that forever.
I experienced the same damn thing I assumed the play store would recognise me as it states welcome back with my username I logged in with but unfortunately 4 years of duel links gems & money down the drain sadly :( just mustered the courage to make a brand new account right now & it’s tough
@@walidmohamed8528 It's actually unexcusable for a billion dollar company like Konami to have this sort of system in place when the industry has set the standard for the last 10 years.
Every other popular mobile game just saves progress via your apple store or Google play store account. Duel links is the only exception and it's embarrassing for a system to be this needlessly complicated.

@@ther3alest275 depends on if you had purchases or not as it looks like if you did have purchases but dont have screenshots of the recipts of 5 of the purchases if you can't get that to them along with everything else i doubting they will help even though you send the actual ID to them so it shoulldnt be hard to find said account but they do it so awkwardly if you give them enough info they should help but if you got purchases on it and dont provide well it seems you outta luck this is the third time i've tried to get my main account back that i havent played in 3-4 years and they asking for bloody screenshots when i gave them the info so they could check themselves

now if only i knew the exact day i downloaded this app for the first time, as i'm trying to recover my account, after accidentally uninstalling it when the game was updating yesterday. i think i played this game in 2017, but my furthest back online purchases are from 2019.
i had the brilliant idea of going into my google play achievements! my oldest achievement was:
Rare Collector. Collect 10 Prismatic cards. 3rd March 2017.
i know its not an exact date, but that's as far back as I've been able to track this game.
good news! Konami, have actually been pretty good with the response e-mails, and just this afternoon, i got the email saying that my old account has been recovered! This is amazing news!!
now i can follow the steps in this video to make sure something like this doesn't happen in the future!

I finally login to my 2 year's old account
my biggest issue is the fact that they are asking for screenshots but the problem being i dont have the recipts to be able to take screenshots of my purchases can they still recover it though without them i can't exactly lie and say i made i no purchases when they would have on records i did purchase apart from that and a exact date i first made the account i gave them everything else they asked for
I recently deleted my app (ios)and redownloaded it because it was running slow thinking my account would be there. Everything was deleted and i was at square 1. I did the inquiry and sent literally everything they asked for, only thing was not so good at explaining was my last duel. And they say they need more evidence. I literally sent them 30+ photos of purchase history which easily exceeds 1000 usd. Also sent my gamecenter achievements and pictures of the brand new deleted account. And im still waiting. Super frustrating i refuse 2 start a new account i had grinded and spent 2 much to just start over.
Yea even though you fill everything out it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get it back konami can be pretty annoying about it but the only other thing I can think of is with the Game Center when you log into the game you can click data transfer, transfer from another device and then try logging in with your Game Center if you’re lucky it’ll work and you’ll have your progress

@@waifusandkaijus9574 just to clarify, I was trying to login into my account through a different device. So I haven't lost my account or anything 😅. But it only took 5 minutes or so to data transfer using the Konami ID. Hope this helps you :)

these next few days should be big with yugioh cross duel coming out
didn't make any purchases and i stopped playing over 4 years ago. I doubt they will do anything for me, Konomi is notorious for hating its player base that doesn't spend money. they tell everyone that's a free to play player to start over no exceptions. so if you didn't pay, you won't play.

I can't access the game it's saying I need to update it but whenever I try the bloody play store gives me an error
So, after doing the whole Konami ID process and after the game tells you that your data has been transferred successfully, to retrieve your old account back (or data you've just set with Konami ID) all I gotta do is go to data transfer at the main menu of the game and that'll load me back into my old account?

I was trying to use the friends list to try and find my duelist ID, but there are several people with my username and I don’t want to put in the wrong one because that could be a problem
Do you remember the last time you played on the account? Maybe try pin pointing it like that or maybe by the icon you used
@@iGalaxy413 I don’t remember the exact date but my most recent achievement on Game Center was on may 14th, 2019. The friends tab isn’t showing any results from close to that date which would be 988 days ago. Last I remember my icon was the red eyes black dragon with a gold border so I’ll keep an eye on that

This makes me mad . If you been using the same phone to play it, all information “should” just return once app is redownload it ! My account was 3 years olds . when you click data transfer on the main menu there should be an option to retrieve from google play I've never tried it so I'm not sure how well it works but I know its an option on mobile

I deleted the game 9 months ago and now i cant remember a single thing i think i lost my account
I tried to open it after long i remember i had an accounr on the email i also have emails on that account from konami i tried to reload the old account now its showing that no account is there in it

I can't even log into my duel links account. I click initiate link and it says downloading 0/0 at the top bar and doesn't move no matter how long I wait. So I can't go to data transfer settings. I have about 6 gigabytes of storage left (which should be plenty) and my iPhone SE is on the latest update. Any tips on what I should do?
Not sure if you’re trying on wifi or something are you able to try with a different connection to see if that’s the problem?

i bought a chromebook but my main is on my phone(iOS) the chromebook runs through the android play store, i went on my phone and did the data transfer setting on my main and even generated a new konami id, just to make sure i logged in correctly, however when i hit data transfer on the home screen on my chromebook i get the message that says "please don't operate the app until data transfer settings have been completed on the konami ID site, but it just stays on that screen and nothing else happens
Maybe your save didn’t fully go through you might have to try backing it up again to see

Awesome vid. This might be a bit complicated but what if you never made an account and just do the link and then the game would generate an id and I make the profile name, but I don't have a password for it. Idk how to make an account when I have one made by the game, but without a password.
I got a new computer last christmas, and it won't let me recover my account because it says it's already connected to a different steam account, but it's the same steam account, just a different computer.
If it’s the same steam account you don’t need to worry about logging into your konami id steam automatically keeps a back up of your game you just have to log in

Is there a way to get my account back if it says it's linked to another Steam account? I log-in to a different one the same Steam account that was my main like 2 years ago and haven't been able to recover. I messaged them when it happened asking if it was possible to give me access to my account on Steam so I didn't have to play on my phone but they said they couldn't. Would the process you went through in the Setting icon give me access to that account on my Steam again?
If that happens I think there’s no way to get it back steam locks are horrible it will happen in master duel too so be careful and submitting a ticket could help but it’s konami you can’t really rely on them for anything

I believe you would just have to go through the konami id setup process on the new account and link it with the new information

Does this work for iPhone because I was tryna login in my duelist account on my iPhone but it wouldn’t let me but it lets me login it on my Samsung galaxy even when I deleted it off both phones just to download it back it doesn’t let me on it
Yea you should be able to log in and out of both devices with no problem what’s the error code you’re getting?

My main account is on my phone and also on the pc in the livingroom
Today i decided to use my main account on my brother's pc but when i try to login(whit my konami id that is linked to my main account)the game gave me a new account so I tried again but seams tha the game replaced my main account whit the new one. i controlled on the pc in the living room and my main account was also replaced by the new one the only device that I can use to play whit my main account is my phone.at the end i filled out the account recovery form.i don t know what is going to happen do you have some tips please?
sorry for the late response your account was filtered with the spam because of the "phone.at" but next time since you already have the game on pc you shouldve just logged into your steam on your brothers pc it would still give you your account because steam stores your data the only other thing i cant think of is trying to recover it using your game center if you have ios or whatever the android version of that is if not then you completely overwrote your account and the only way to get it back would be through konami themselves

Two days ago as I was playing on PVP and the other player quit and that caused the game to crash. I could't do anything, the music stopped playing and I was stuck in the duel screen. I waited for the winning screen to show up, but nothing, Eventually I closed the app but when I opened it again all of my data were wiped and I have to re-download everything. I tried to do data transfer from my Konami account but I get a weird message that the account is connected to another one and I am so confused as to how to recover my data, as I don't have another account. I can still see on steam everything regarding my account, total playtime, bages etc., so I know it's not gone but how do I get back on to it? I emailed Konami two days ago and their answer was to basically contact steam about it. Anyone has any clue what to do?

If you connected it to a konami ID you click data transfer on the main menu it’ll take you to the konami website just login with your email and password

You’re honestly better off making a new account anyways you will get a good amount of tickets just by logging in and next week there will be a new campaign for the anniversary that will give you even more dream tickets with gems but you have to make the account now and log in everyday so you don’t miss out

@@iGalaxy413 There are decks specifically made for a specific character u know and u can't play using the deck without the character like Yubel decks etc. Ikr it feels like they did it on purpose lol but u don't hear that from me
