  • 🇮🇳 Indian food is really interesting and diverse, and I'm always surprised by the different takes on dishes that different places and restaurants have. So here in Agra, I was excited when I heard about this unique paratha shop. Enjoy.

Cup of tea after a heavy paratha is nice. A danger sign in India at eating establishments is if they are not busy when the food is prepared, may mean food has been left lying around and may cause a stomach upset. Freshly prepared hot food is best.

The paratha you ate was not the real paratha. It seemed they deep fried it to save time and hardwork. But the real parathas are prepared using mild oil/ghee/butter over a curve iron plate (tawa). When a stuffed flat dough deep fried it is called khachori or khasta (you ate mixed veg khaChori).

Difference is 4-500rs of 1 ltr,
But some restaurant become legend, institutions...so they hv to lived ...for their image,
Plus not many customers visit these restaurant as they are pretty expensive for common people
Same time restaurant can't lower their quality, plus their is old experience staff,,,who maintain the quality...their wages also comparatively high...
