I’ve never seen it explained this way, and it helped me immensely in tuning up an older jointer. Even on one without an adjustable outfeed, it helps you diagnose the knife height. This is the video I’ve been looking for. Thank you very much, sir!

Opposite problem. Boards are tight at ends with gap in middle.
