This project right here represents a miracle in the video game industry we seldom see in this day and age; the absolute redemption of a game that has numerously been labeled as one of the worst of all time.
This is what video game remakes should be. Taking bad or otherwise broken games and fixing them. The fact the overwhelming majority of video game remakes are of games that are already considered good just strikes me as such a creative waste.
And of course, it's done by passionate fans, not actual official development. I wonder how long it'll take for the film geeks to catch up and make a fan film to The Last Jedi actually good.
@@HOTD108_ To be fair, i think it also depends on what exactly the game is. If it's not well known (Live A Live being a japanese only SNES game that sold poorly before the remake, pretty sure that says it all) or stuck on old unpopular hardware that is difficult to emulate to being with (Wii U games for example), then porting it or remaking it makes sense. If it's already available on the hardware because of backwards compatibility (Bowser's Inside Story remake or TLOU1 PS5)? Yeah i totally agree with you
"i wouldn't be surprised if he was the only character to canonically get motion sick because he's not used to going fast" Fun fact. This is absolutely true. In Team Sonic Racing, Silver has multiple lines that allude to him being overwhelmed by the speed, including "There goes my lunch!" when doing jump stunts. Even Big copes better dealing with high velocity.
Which makes no sense because when we see him in cutscenes, he can fly at insane speeds if he chooses to. That line might be because of the spinning with him being he only hedgehog who doesn't go into a ball but the rivals exists
I seriously doubt that's what it was referencing. Silver has ALWAYS been able to move at speeds that rival Sonic (we see it in his opening cutscene when he leaves Blaze in the dust, and even when he first gets sent to the past, he's shown running pretty dang fast in the cutscene). Like someone already mentioned, it's far more likely that this was in referencing to Silver's car spinning, or getting jerked around by other racers (tho to be frank, Team Sonic Racing had HORRIBLE characterization for Silver anyway, so I'd take it with a grain of salt regardless).
I'm always impressed with how P-06 doesn't just improve the original game, it really understands the spirit of it. How is was trying to stitch the elements of the every 3D Sonic game into something congruent. Additions like Omega's combo from Heroes, Rouge's kicks from SA2, Silver's psychic knife from Generations. It all adds to 06's feeling of finality and really makes P-06 feel like the biggest and best 3D Sonic game ever made.
It's funny cause the maturity meter always felt out of place in retail(doesn't help that it only barely works for Shadow), but with P-06 I can see that it is an evolution of Heroes level up system.
And what makes the whole thing hilarious is that ChaosX hasn't even played the original. He's used gameplay footage and audience feedback, but that's it.
I can't believe ChaosX and the team aren't even done yet. Like, we have the meat and potatoes, the most important part of all the characters accounted for, being the levels. There honestly isn't a NEED to go further. But we're getting the BOSSES next. And likely the adventure fields and missions after. They are genuinely intent on making 06 a genuine, complete product. Absolutely incredible.
I seriously hope they also finish the entire story mode, cutscenes included eventually, it might never happen, but if it did, i could officially consider this the best remake of all time.
Always a joy to see your videos on the game man! As always I appreciate the amazing loop of feedback we get between videos and new updates I push out! And yeah you're certainly right and I 100% agree about the expectancy of Silver's main mechanics needing rock solid physics, one of my biggest struggles believe it or not is programming physics, numbers and complex functions just tire my brain way too easily! But I will continue to keep refining these aspects to the best of my abilities in the near future. Thank you so much for playing again!
Besides, take a break. You have already done a legendary job and I understand that you may be exhausted as you had said on Twitter. Take all the time in the world to take a vacation, after all the project updates will always be good received (And if some people receive your advances badly, we'll kill them, nah it's a joke). I hope you are well and have a nice day ❤
Chaos man I love you Gotta say you always outdo yourself with every release of this project and it's seriously amazing the way you've been able to breathe new life into this game I have a suggestion, an extra mode that you can unlock where you can pick any character you want in a Sonic stage Can't wait to see what you can add to the game going forward
Chaos X as a person who grew up on the boost gameplay I was never that impressed by adventure games or the classic games and for a while I eventually believed that the people who want it back might just be viewing the gameplay through nostalgia the adventure games where not perfect but sonic P06 and sonic GT convinced me I play P06 almost everyday and my greatest criticism is that I can’t play more
The funniest and saddest thing about P-06 is watching a lot of people (Sonic haters, retro fans, etc) go out of their way to trash the project because it threatens their narrative. No joke, I've seen people write articles all but saying "Some dumb fan is foolishly trying to bring the worst Sonic game ever to PC, god help us all" with not a single word complimenting the project's quality, while others blatantly say that they don't _ever_ want to say any good words about anything involving 06 and refuse to give the project any compliments whatsoever, even going so far as to downplay what ChaosX has done as to say "He made a half-baked fanmod of a shitty game whose only redeeming quality is that, unlike 06, it's actually playable." Incredible how toxic the matter of Sonic games can get.
Sonic fans delude themselves into thinking that any one game is the reason their fav IP isn't taken seriously and not the fact that they can't fucking behave themselves for two seconds.
I can kind of understand the sentiment, since I think there are aspects of the games that cannot be improved (for example, I don’t think they can make the Elise kisses Sonic thing work) without major revamps to the characters and overall story with. And if they do, would it be sonic 06 anymore? How many changes until it is its own thing and not “sonic 06 but actually working and living up to its potential”? It depends on what that those ppl decide is sonic 06, and for some reason ppl just won’t accept that the bad thing they dislike can be improved on/fixed in the same way other games have remastered/remade versions.
people can hate all they want, we'll just keep on having fun and chaosx knows he and his teams work is much appreciated. if anything it AT LEAST scratches that curiosity itch that was needed oh so long ago with "what if it was delayed and the team didn't get split in two?" obviously this is another mans vision, and there's still a little bit of bugs and glitches to iron out but they're nowhere near as bad as they used to be. if its playable; great! if its fun; mission accomplished. I can proudly say that i find myself doing all 9 of silver stages twice in one go because he's just that darn good to play as. dare i say he may be my most favorite campaign of the 3.
Although I didn't get the chance to play the original Silver has always been my favorite character, it makes me unbelievably happy to see him get this much care and attention
you should be happy you didn't get to experience the original silver, the best way to describe it is fun self torturous, it's hell to play esp w/ the physics of 06 but there's so much fun elements of ig you can say a sandbox like exeprience you get from playing it that makes it fun but still horrible to play and control
I think Silver might be one of my favorite characters in the series (alongside Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow when they're properly written). Even in the original Sonic '06, despite his meme-worthy boss fight and his pitiful gameplay, his story has always stood out to me. A guy who goes back to the past to try and save the future, but starts contemplating if killing somebody in order to accomplish that is really the right thing to do? I love that kind of *REAL* character dilemma for how it puts their morals to the test! And the lesson of his story being "you can't change the past to fix your present, but you can learn from it to make better decisions in your future" is great on paper, even if somewhat poorly executed in-game. Now, with P-06 redeeming Silver's gameplay, I can actually feel proud in saying that he's up there as one of my favorites!
Exactly, same, i never got to play as him but sense childhood silver, shadow, and tails have always been my favorites. It's mostly due to how different they are on a technical level; guns and roller skates with shadow, flying and gadgets with tails, and telekinesis with silver. Honestly, to this day i still wish silver got his own game.
Listen to me. You should be happy you didn't. He was so slow and it's just sheer pain to move him around in the Solenna Forest hub. The physics in the game is already wonky so his physokenesis (Defenitley spelt it wrong) would barely work, giving you no indication if the object you were about to throw was going hit it's target and with the ball puzzle at the end of Dusty Desert it would take you over 10 mins. Lastly his air dash was pathetic. Choas X improved Silver alot in this release.
A really neat detail I'll always appreciate Sonic P-06 for, is that in White Acropolis, it's possible to see the destroyed moon from Sonic Adventure 2.
I finally noticed that in this demo, along with a certain Easter egg in Shadow’s Kingdom Valley, and my mind was blown. The attention to detail in P-06 is incredible!
@@SonictmntWhen did they fix it in Shadow? It's intact in the opening, but that's mostly just an inconsistency, where none of the games after SA2 seem to actually acknowledge the moon being broken.
@@Sonictmnt Iizuka said that the moon was "facing the other side" during the Shadow opening, so canonically it was never fixed until the 06 timeline reset (maybe a butterfly effect type of deal?)
@@HOTD108_ his backstory, his design, his personality, I just think he kept (and to a degree still is) getting given a really bad hand. He deserved so much better and sonic team still isn't giving him the time of day, which really sucks cuz he's such an amazing character when you delve deeper into his story and stuff in the few games he's been in.
@@skeliepossiblyit’s sad to know that he would’ve gotten his own game if the original Sonic 06 game wasn’t a disaster and spawned numerous memes and jokes in Silver alone alongside many other things. Sonic team's biggest issue is they give up too easily when something goes wrong.

9:08 "All it takes is a gentle graze at the wrong spot and you'll Be SENT TO THE FOURTH DIMENSION" THE DELIVERY AND THE FLAWLESS SOUNDING OF THESE YOKES IS TRULY REMARKABLE😂
Honestly the most amazing thing about P-06 to me is easily the fact that the level design isn't changed that much. Like, usually with fan remakes, there's a significant amount of changes to level design, basically making a brand new game, with an old game's presentation. But P-06 really does just feel like the original but better.
The level design of the retail game really was amazing. It was the perfect mix of SA1 and SA2's level design imo. Sad that it took 15 years for people to see that
@@sackydzNGi don't really buy this. i think level design is a function of character ability, so it was bad in the original because it didn't function well with how the characters controlled. in P-06, characters have been redesigned to better play in their levels, retroactively making the level design better. level design and mechanics go together; you can't have one being good and the other being bad. there are also a lot of things nobody would defend, like speed boosts taking you directly into hazards even without glitches. and a lack of consistency means that even with a total revamp, the jungle level still isn't mapped out in a way that makes sense.
I like that in the joke parts you've started to experiement with the editing instead of just purely carrying the humor with your commentary alone, it's an unexpected change and I welcome it. That *PHYSICS* bit was brilliant.
@@jexusdomel5194 charging throws and just hitting enemies individually with each crate helps with it. And the psychic knife makes quick work of any enemy near explosive crates or sitting in a straight line. The weakest combos come from Amy, but she's only playable twice in the entire game.
@@bickuribox12 also, just skip the ball in aquatic base lol. You can hover to the exit so easily, and the same applies to sonic, allowing you to hit some extra enemies for points over the pit.
Kind of wish more sections were added for the side characters. The blaze flame core section ends far too early (just end it after the enemy arena before the cavern). Amy could also use an extra act on her own, maybe white acropolis to explain the encounter with Elise.
From what I heard, chaos might try making some original level designs. So its entirely possible that we could get some more cool moments with the side characters.
Bick, this video is...incredible. One thing I think is one of your biggest strengths is pacing. Taking the time to go back to Retail 06 and do a playthrough yourself rather than just regurgitating the same tired points is refeshing. Your delivery of criticism in a way that is one part humuorus and another part genuine is always a highlight as well. My biggest praise goes to your ability to take your time. In an age where TikTok, UA-cam Shorts, and even full-length videos go out of their way to trim and cut every moment of silence in hope of retaining the viewers attention (I won't say I'm not a victim of doing this as well), it is so awesome that you let the joke or point lay, giving me time to reflect on what you have said rather than immedieatly spring boarding to the next topic. Plus it makes the contrasting hard cuts even funnier. For me specifically, it was really cool to see Silver's campaign throught the lens of a score attacker rather than a speedruner, since as you mention the teleport dash is the star of the show there. There are problems with Silver's physics (the main one for me being enemies being pushed around rather than be destroyed), but it is so tough to not love everything that Chaos has done to transform this game into something special. So well done on giving new perspective on a more obtuse play style for a sonic game. Cheers man. I'm always rooting for ya!
Words cannot describe how much joy your videos bring me. After the much anticipated Silver Release, all that was left to fully complete the hype train was your video covering it and MAN did it deliver! Some of the jokes in this newest video are my favorite by far, even to the point where I burst out in laughter which is something I hardly ever do. You've really got some true talent my guy, from the musical skills to the amazing commentary, you're definitely going places! Thanks again for providing such awesome content and as always, I can't wait to see what the future holds!
7:33 "These details will always remind me, that people did care. They cared as much as they could, in the time they had." Great line, and I couldn't agree more. I think as we mature and grow older in life, especially when looking at art that's driven by so much passion like with video games and game development, you realise just how much people really do care and give it their all to try and make something great. And unfortunately, sometimes they get unlucky or things go wrong for some reason or another, that stops that creation of their passion from being truly realised. I'm really happy that someone like ChaosX is sharing his passion for this game, and in many ways, carrying on the spirit of the passion the original developers had for it too.
ChaosX represents one of the best in the Sonic Fandom. Taking a game that's been called the worst in the series, and turning it into something incredible should be praised.
People like ChaosX are the part of the Sonic fandom that I've always appreciated. Sonic fans have a level of passion almost never seen in any other fandom, to the point where multiple fans have released full games of similar quality to the best of Sonic Team.
To me Silver is like Axl from Mega Man X. I like the character and what he can do, but I think he gets a lot more hate because of the game he debuted in.
Funnily enough, despite the obvious jank in retail, Silver was always my favourite hedgehog to play in 06. Didn't mean that I finished the campaign mind you, I tapped out during Radical Train and I still haven't touched the game again to this day, but this video gives me hope that I'll enjoy Silver way more now. ADDENDUM: i now remember why i tapped out during radical train, this level kind of sucks no matter which hedgehog you play as
The time has finally come! I haven’t been able to put P-06 down ever since the Silver release, and I absolutely adore what they’ve done with him. Honestly, even if the project just ended here, I’d be happy, though I’d obviously love to see more. I just hope they can make it so we don’t have to redo our entire save files next time there’s a major release…
12:48 Thank you so much for addressing how wildly inconsistent Silver’s physics are. Throwing objects at enemies to defeat them works 60% of the time. It’s frustrating when objects are thrown at enemies and they do not react accordingly or when an enemy is right in front of you, it’s almost impossible to defeat them with thrown objects. Hopefully they get addressed on the upcoming patch. Also, holy hell platforming on the pendulums in Kingdom Valley (13:09) is AWFUL
3:50 “Could you even tell me what happened here?” I don’t know if this question is rhetorical, but you lifted the explosive crate and moved it towards a missile you didn’t pick up, causing the explosion.
In my experience, this game is very much about putting in the time to master it, and less about the first hands on performance. Considering the fact that this game was made by Sonic fans for Sonic fans, I actually like this alot.
Every review I've seen for this game agrees that all characters are fun to play, a way to give underutilized ones like Amy more levels would be wonderful
They could revamp Amy's escort mission of Elise into a full on prison break of White Acropolis! That’s technically what was implied anyway, it just took place in Castle Town for some reason, lol.
Dude the title of the video is EXACTLY what I predicted it was going to be. Haven't watched the whole thing but it's great so far! EDIT: I've finally finished the whole thing, this was one of your best videos yet! Keep it up bickuri!
It's really insane how much better Amy is in this game. Her gameplay went from being some of the worst in the franchise in retail to maybe her best form ever in this. I think the only competition she has is messing around with her pairings in Advance 3, but even then it's close.
This has got to be said, you're comedic style and timing are truly one of a kind on UA-cam. I have no idea why but every joke you make is perfectly timed/delivered and always makes me laugh.
I'm glad the community has been showing so much love to chaos x. This truly is the greatest fan project of all time. To see Sonic 06 go from a game I loved as a kid, to one I realized was irredeemably bad once i grew up, to now finally being the game it always could have been, really brings a smile to my face.
Your sense of humor coupled with your delivery come together to make this shit funny as hell. Every joke in this video catches me off guard, I love it.
It honestly amazes me how much is ChaosX willing to listen to the community regarding tweaks to gameplay, even regarding minor stuff. I made a comment once that the reason Shadow's vehicles sucked is because they didn't have proper suspension physics, and lo and behold, the next update added them, plus a kart in the test stage to get used to them before playing the stages.
I definitely feel like throwing objects at enemies should stun them instead of dealing damage, and more psychokinetic attacks should be incorporated for actual combo gameplay. That way, you can still get the satisfaction of launching a bunch of stuff around without it being the only worthwhile option for people who like the combat.
Your writing and humour style is hilarious. Some of the deadpan deliveries had me in stitches. I’m so happy my favourite Sonic character is getting his time to shine
This was actually the first time I played silver campaign, as I only had played the Sonic and Shadow stories in retail, so I was pleasantly impressed by how fast Silver's Aquatic Base became my favorite stage. Chaos really outdid himself here, and he deserves all the credit he's due.
Love the video. Interesting how you are probably the ONLY person I"ve seen with anything negative to say about Silver in P-06. But you're points were entirely valid. So on that note how might ChaosX improve the silver combat prior to getting the Sigil? After all getting it requires S ranking everything so you've already mastered the game by that point. I have 2 ideas. 1. In the game's background have it track what objects are held by psychokinesis and apply dammage to targeted enemies regardless of hit detection. This is kind of cheating and effectively removes the physics but if the physics can't be fixed as they are just too unstable then it might be a good compromise. Perhaps to allow physics mechanics to remain this could be part of a special mechanic similar to VATs in Fallout where you go into a special lock-on mode to calculate dammage for you instead of relying on physical aiming. 2. Borrow ideas from Scarlet Nexus and have the game more heavily control physically controlled objects. Instead of a catch and release make it a fully controlled attack where the game bashes the enemies with the controlled objects and give the objects curved attack paths so they don't ram into each other. This will likely be harder to do as it's asking the game to handle more physics and control objects in a more complex manner. However killing enemies with physically controlled objects in Scarlet Nexus was far more satisfying than Silver's catch and release method. So replicating it's feel will be a boost to Silver's gameplay. OUtside of that just disabling the enemies hit boxes in relation to you so you can't be hurt by the enemies you hold will fix most of the other issues you mentioned besides the camera. These are just my thoughts but would like to hear if you or anyone else has more. I definitely feel Silver's "catch and release" could use more refinement in some manner but beyond that he's definitely a blast now. P.S. One other additional note. If possible ChaosX should allow you to make the psychic knife verticle. Perhaps by holding a directional button or just a second button of some sort. This would help you use it to hurt enemies not standing on a flat plane. I can't imagine that would be that hard to do. Just rotating the attack and adding a control option so the player can do so themselves.
A possible solution with the first option is to have silver launch a psychic wave that envelopes the thrown object. In other words. For a example, a crate that silver grabs, the aura that surrounds it gets larger (but not in the physics system. Just for damage) and when silver throws it, that aura follows the throw. You get the physics based object, and cheat a little at the sametime. As it makes it more likely the player is going to hit what they intended to hit.
Something to mention about Mach speed is that when at top speed sonic will tilt his body to the direction he is going at pretty cool detail if you ask me.
Sega needs to bring Silver back as a playable character in a main series game. Oh, and also, I wonder how the Solaris boss is going to be. I'm imagining it being more like Metal Overlord, and being able to collect rings during the fight.
You are doing the lords work Chaos. People like you are what make the world go ‘round. Keep doing what you do man and don’t over do it. We can’t lose an incredible person like you.
From my time playing I've found that using silver's grab all move (pressing the button to use psychokinesis twice rapidly) goes a long way in making his combat less janky especially with enemies in the air after they are stunned. you won't be able to take them with you for a combo later but it's situationally helpful acting as a lesser form of his ESP enhanced explosion
Just one thing I want to point out-- there's a move in the manual called "Psychokinesis All" that you can perform by double-tapping RT/R2, which will grab everything around Silver in about the radius of his Psycho Shock-- the ground slam-- and in this state, while Silver is locked in place, you can take your time aiming and throwing at distant enemies. Something I do in Tropical Jungle is, after breaking the first wall and destroying the two robots on the platform, I use Psychokinesis All to grab all the crates the second robot spawns on top of and throw them at three robots on the turtle path. With Psychokinesis All, and the Psychic Knife for that matter, even if you're on the ground the score won't tally up until the moves end. You can tell you're using Psychokinesis All by Silver's stance-- the infamous "It's no use!" pose, where he very slightly hovers off the ground. I found this to immensely improve playing as Silver without his upgrades-- though the upgrades themselves do drastically improve his gameplay regardless. I mean, sometimes it's still just the faster version of "Psycho Shock > Run around grabbing stuff", but dang if it doesn't feel cool to grab a whole circle of enemies at once and just _crush_ them with a thought. There's also the fact that locking yourself in place can be disadvantageous. Honestly, I find it adds just a little bit of depth to Silver's gameplay, or at least if it doesn't there's a little more variety and visual flair to make him feel a bit cooler, which is enough for me. At least once I've managed to grab all those Iblis monsters just before the pipe you can knock over in Crisis City using Psychokinesis All, including the two flying ones that are usually a pain to grab, and when I can't get them with the move, I can still target them and kill them with the lizard-things. I'm not entirely sure if Psychokinesis All is more reliable for damaging enemies with thrown objects than regular Psychokinesis or not. My testing has been inconclusive. Silver's more intense grunting would suggest he's flinging the objects with more force, but again, I can't really tell. Also, Silver's action gauge will recharge if you hold RT/R2 on a green symbol, even if Silver's holding other things, which I have yet to find a use for but I think has potential for cool stuff. As an aside, something I've been doing in Kingdom Valley is the "Psycho Shock > Psychokinesis All" combo, to grab all three of the first robots and the crates right at the start, and throwing them at the second group of enemies in turret/It's No Use mode. I've found it pretty reliable so far, though the robot on top of the crates does sometimes just go flying still, though that's not too big of a deal if you got the crates too.
Almost sounds like Silver is a mech stage now. Lock-on/grab as many enemies as you can, then let loose. Like a lot of Sonic fan games, I half wish these guys could do something official, and half want to see them as their own original team. Great work as always! Looking forward to the next one.
I can't believe this is the first I'm hearing about this. Sonic 06 was such a guilty pleasure when I was a kid. I knew it was bad and poorly made, but I still enjoyed the ideas there enough to play it multiple times. Knowing that there's a version of it that takes the story and gameplay ideas and puts them into a fully functional, well-made game? I mean, it's what I've been asking for for the past several years. Now if I could just get Scooby-Doo Night of 100 Frights remade with slight improvements to gameplay and graphics, childhood me would be so so happy.

"i wouldn't be surprised if he was the only character to canonically get motion sick because he's not used to going fast"
Fun fact. This is absolutely true. In Team Sonic Racing, Silver has multiple lines that allude to him being overwhelmed by the speed, including "There goes my lunch!" when doing jump stunts. Even Big copes better dealing with high velocity.
To be fair, big never really goes fast. He just convinces everything around him to move at high speeds, giving the illusion that he's going fast.
Which makes no sense because when we see him in cutscenes, he can fly at insane speeds if he chooses to. That line might be because of the spinning with him being he only hedgehog who doesn't go into a ball but the rivals exists
@@MugenEclipse Big has the blessing and curse that is being an absolute unit, physics don't work on him properly.
@@SonnyFRSTplus quoth Snapcube, "Hot purple high velocity."
Silver should get a vertical psychic knife as well as actual teleportation like in generations.

LET'S GOOOO
I hope you are well and have a nice day ❤
You've done more for this community that we deserve. Turning the most hated game known to man into something truly special. I can't thank you enough.
Chaos man I love you
Gotta say you always outdo yourself with every release of this project and it's seriously amazing the way you've been able to breathe new life into this game
I have a suggestion, an extra mode that you can unlock where you can pick any character you want in a Sonic stage
Can't wait to see what you can add to the game going forward
Chaos X as a person who grew up on the boost gameplay I was never that impressed by adventure games or the classic games and for a while I eventually believed that the people who want it back might just be viewing the gameplay through nostalgia the adventure games where not perfect but sonic P06 and sonic GT convinced me I play P06 almost everyday and my greatest criticism is that I can’t play more
miralo al pibe. Que genio
The funniest and saddest thing about P-06 is watching a lot of people (Sonic haters, retro fans, etc) go out of their way to trash the project because it threatens their narrative. No joke, I've seen people write articles all but saying "Some dumb fan is foolishly trying to bring the worst Sonic game ever to PC, god help us all" with not a single word complimenting the project's quality, while others blatantly say that they don't _ever_ want to say any good words about anything involving 06 and refuse to give the project any compliments whatsoever, even going so far as to downplay what ChaosX has done as to say "He made a half-baked fanmod of a shitty game whose only redeeming quality is that, unlike 06, it's actually playable."
Incredible how toxic the matter of Sonic games can get.
I thankfully haven't seen any of that. Wow.
@@ma.2089 One scene doesn't ruin a game that's pretty good underneath the mass of technical issues and bugs
Although I didn't get the chance to play the original Silver has always been my favorite character, it makes me unbelievably happy to see him get this much care and attention
you should be happy you didn't get to experience the original silver, the best way to describe it is
fun self torturous, it's hell to play esp w/ the physics of 06 but there's so much fun elements of ig you can say a sandbox like exeprience you get from playing it that makes it fun but still horrible to play and control

But they fixed it in Shadow, so that means it's broken... again?

PHYSICS
You should use the psychic knife to hit the explosive crates in the start of kingdom valley actually. That way you get the same result every time
Thanks! Took me a bit to figure out, but if I go in between the two groups and shoot a knife at each, I can get them both
Well the argument remains, the rng to the physics is an aspect silver normally has to deal with
@@jexusdomel5194 charging throws and just hitting enemies individually with each crate helps with it.

Yeah the side characters having way more play would be awesome. They just control too well to be so infrequent
In Amy case, like you said, make a full white acropolis level to explain her encounter with Elise would be nice. Like LoS did. It's just a suggest
From what I heard, chaos might try making some original level designs. So its entirely possible that we could get some more cool moments with the side characters.
There is a mod that enables switching between characters for P06. You could try using that.

The part about enemies being pushed around rather than be destroyed. Have you tried relying on the force of PK all?

People like ChaosX are the part of the Sonic fandom that I've always appreciated. Sonic fans have a level of passion almost never seen in any other fandom, to the point where multiple fans have released full games of similar quality to the best of Sonic Team.

In my experience, this game is very much about putting in the time to master it, and less about the first hands on performance.
Considering the fact that this game was made by Sonic fans for Sonic fans, I actually like this alot.
Every review I've seen for this game agrees that all characters are fun to play, a way to give underutilized ones like Amy more levels would be wonderful
They could revamp Amy's escort mission of Elise into a full on prison break of White Acropolis! That’s technically what was implied anyway, it just took place in Castle Town for some reason, lol.

It's really insane how much better Amy is in this game. Her gameplay went from being some of the worst in the franchise in retail to maybe her best form ever in this. I think the only competition she has is messing around with her pairings in Advance 3, but even then it's close.

Im also surprised Chaos answered all your Mach speed suggestions: the trees in WO also deal damage now as well which is just so neat
Your style of humor could make any video fun to watch !
Your writing and humour style is hilarious. Some of the deadpan deliveries had me in stitches. I’m so happy my favourite Sonic character is getting his time to shine

@@somersaultinggiraffe1901 Who are you talking about?
I swear, this guy's line delivery is truly something else. So damn funny.
It makes me so happy to see this game still alive, it left such a strong impact on me when it released, I may get a pic just to play it!
I think Silver's story being so fixed but still broken is such a testament to how broken Silver in Classic 06 was.
"If the physics aren't rock solid, then niether is my smile"
Love the videos, can't wait till next post.
