The mixed reviews and comments seems just that haters who won't be happy with any game that isent their way and exactly how they wanted it even Jedi fallen order and survivor had hatters and those both are great games.

Man so many people seem to know that, the story is gonna be bad, that the gameplays going to feel unsatisfying, and that its gonna be bad before its even come out. Kinda crazy when did everyone become clairvoyant?

@ghetto_samurai2157 I'm not simping for ubisoft. I really don't care about them. I just want to remain optimistic that we can get good Star Wars content. The general pessimistic attitude of nearly everyone lately has been grinding my gears. The surrender of hope will ensure nothing gets better, the last Ubisoft game I really really played was Assassins Creed... rogue? It was the one after Blackflag.

@stuartbagley2586 I'm also Gen X. I just want to be able to enjoy my time alive and be hopeful. If outlaws is bad it's bad. But I'd love to hold out hope that it's good.

So here is what I will say about this, I think some the visuals hiccups might be because its streamed footage. Also, I think the visuals will be cleaned up before launch. The preview was obviously a carefully curated vertical slice and I truly believe that this is an older build.
The game looks great. People need to f'n chill out. The only thing that's worse than a game critic is a star wars game critic. Star wars "Fans" are just the worst kind of people.

It looks pretty good to me. I like the open-world concept. I agree; the explosion effects need some tweaking. How the gameplay actually feels remains to be seen. Watching it versus playing it are not always the same.
Game looks quite good. Can they fine tune a thing or two? What game couldn't. Stoked to play it when it comes out.

Tbh I just look at avatar. That game was never downgraded and was made by massive as well. That’s probably one of the best looking games this gen. I’m not trying to defend the game but this is either series S footage or just an old build all together considering IGN first is done weeks in advance. I saw some people that played say what they experienced looked way better than the IGN footage and it dosen’t help that the footage was compressed af
Weather the game is truly downgraded or not will definitely be telling in the next couple weeks when previews drop

@@the_ghost_t9657 it dependes on what graphics card you have. i have RX 6700XT 12 GB RE DEVIL and i play all games maxed 1440p 60 fps. most of them look like real! it am sure that on mine pc it will look great. Now i play HORIZON FORBIDEN WEST also maxed 1440p 60 fps and it looks like movie!
I think it looks good everyone needs to chill if you don’t like the look of it or whatever then don’t play it.
i am a great fan of Star Wars since the 80s when it was on Tv in Germany, end of the 80s, despite the fact that Star Wars Franchise for me these days since Disney is like 90% horrible, i would like to have a game like OUTLAWS, but then the UBISOFT comes in place, i hate their launcher, i hate how i have to struggle with UBISOFT games which are connected to STEAM years aog and now its a desaster
I agree with some about the face model. It just looks odd and weird but some of what i seen looks fun to me. I didn’t pre order because Ubisoft’s comments when they said you wont own the game, that you are just paying to access it and they can pull it anytime like the crew!
Just patch it, all games have issues at it's release.

Maybe we didnt realize how good we had it when DICE was making Battlefront. Granted 2 very different games but DICE had their issues with launch.
We did not have it good when bf2 launched. Don’t be blinded by nostalgia. Sure the game ended hood but that took over a year
The game is looking amazing. Just look at the Dev’s pedigree. Look at their games.

It's literally still in production. When it's released, if it still has these issues people can complain.

@@starwarshq True. I think people are a bit too late to request the delay. But when the game releases, they can request the updates on the game in about a month or two. I could be wrong, please feel free to correct me

@@starwarshq Where? on IGN UA-cam? Its now 20K but also 10K Positiv. I followed them only recently again because of Outlaws. I found their opinions often to onesided. Most Times bad for no reason. In the End everyone has to judge for himself. I´m hopeful.

I don't think they are going to delay a game that runs fine just because alot people didnt like The Acolyte lol yes I know this game as nothing to do with The Acolyte other then Both being in The Star Wars Universe but we are talking about the Star Wars Fandom that has mixed Reactions to everything Star Wars.
Tbh it is feeling alot of the backlash from those recent shows plus all the ubisoft drama with ac shadows and that director saying about not owning games which is being taken completely out of context, it really is the Internets favorite punching bag right now.

I am unsure whether this game will get a fair shake. I think it will suffer from the hate of Ubisoft the hate of DEI and the controversy of the assassins creed game will bleed over on to this game and will hamper it perhaps severely.Ubisoft has proven itself to be its own worst enemy.I don't see anything that can help this game get past Ubisofts other controversies.
It looks awesome to me, definitely something I’m looking forward to. Open word, side quest and it looked decently fun and a cool concept.
Obviously people flown out cant be trusted to give unbiased opinions on the game, and even if it was catastrophically bad, those basically on disney and ubisofts payroll accepting gifts for favorable reviews won't be able to give honest opinions....you have already started your journey into this game thru the already biased lens getting free trip and access so I'd say you can't on any level be a trusted source about this game
These empire's big bases will probably be like they were in avatar. Big but very dull inside. No actual proper rooms but big open spaces only. It made sense in Avatar and does not here so I hope I'm terribly terribly wrong.
I’m on the fence right now which is rare when it comes to Star Wars but I think this should be delayed to December at least. It definitely needs more time to polish. Maybe add some more planets that haven’t been seen in every SW film (Tattoine)
The only thing i wish they would let us do is equip different weapons as opposed to just picking one up and using in for a short period and throwing it away
If you could make your own character it would increase the replayability, i just dont see any reason to do more than one playthrough from what ive seen
People got mad when they saw the character so who knows if it's about the game
A day one patch and making sure you are playing the game on pc, as Ubisoft games have been running great on pc so far; we should be fine.

It does look awesome in many areas, totally agree. But I do understand some of the criticism. I believe a day one patch tho could iron out any issues... the ball is in Ubi's court now to make it happen.

When this game comes out you can buy it for £14.99 and try it out and if you hate it, well don't worry. Better that than spend £70.
Of Course its always about the Looks. If there is nothing more important like Gameplay and Story what looks good to me what I have seen yet.. For sure it was an older Build and it may get a Graphical Downgrade like most Games in the End atleast for Last Gen Consoles. But Massiv has still more than a Month left to get everything polished and working out Bugs and Stuff. I won´t say Trust in the Force or Ubisoft. But I will give them a Chance and have a little Hope.
I would like to see this game launch on time and if there needs to be a day one patch, so be it.

I am not sure why people hate the gameplay that much, the only bad thing I see is the graphics quality is not that great for 2024(excluding fare lens which should be a toggle in the game settings) however I would prefer a low poly game with great narrative, gameplay mechanics, good performance, less buggy than a super high-quality graphics and everything else is just dumb. Also, its rare to find a Ubisoft game demonstrated before release with that graphics quality because Ubisoft is notorious with high quality trailers and trash quality releases.
The quality could be low because IGN could be playing a streamed version of the game and it could be an early build as well

The game looks like it’ll be amazing. Besides the few little minor details. I’m sure a day one patch will fix quite a bit. Otherwise I’m excited to play this game.

The fact that in this open world you are not able to create your own character is a huge let down and will be the most important reason I will not buy the game. If i play a game like this I want to feel being the character.

I think the game should release as planned. People shouldn’t judge a game before it’s released. Everyone loves Star Wars Jedi Survivor. I wasn’t a fan of it. Ubisoft didn’t make it. I’m actually excited for this game. Shadows as well for that matter. Call me a simp, I really couldn’t care, I like what I like.
I fine tooth combed through the gp footage. And it's missing smaller details. No environmental damage at all is a super drag. And the explosions look line a ps2 explosion. If they fix the explosion and make them at least leave a soot mark, if there is no environmental damage at least make a black soot mark.

I think the reaction is just the consequences of what Disney have done to Star Wars. They whittled the fan base down to pessimism and just hatred. They’ve destroyed something that meant a lot to people, with garbage like the Acolyte and Last Jedi, and the reaction to anything they announce now is anger.
I think the game looks kind of cool tbh. I’ll buy it, but I’m going in with low expectations.

It said that this is the normal for almost every game before it even comes out gets drama. the people of to day are to spoiled i grew up in the 2d era every game was almost the same you moved left right jump and shoot or swing something thats al. and there was drama but there was no platform for those people to scream at and ye the industrie do some shady things but you dont have to go that route the best thing you can do is dont read comments than it is like the old days and better because now you can see what Games are coming out in detail if it is something for you or not and if you dislike it go play another game instead of put out your first negative emotion directly. have a nice day 🙏🤗

It lookdl ike a very good action game and cant wait! i play all aciton ames anyway and having played JEDI SURVIVOR on february i can say that while out laws might not be as good as it it will be still a good star wars action game.

The game should be delayed and they should implement a character customization. This character isn't cool, nor do I want to write my own Star Wars story as a character I can't relate to at all. If it was a linear story line, I'd understand, but its not.

I'm sorry but a game that is suppose to be open world and "my story" should have character creation. I don't care about her as a character and I'm not gonna play a game with that being the case.

I am playing before judging, but Ubi and Disney don't have a good track record lately. I am not pre ordering the game.
Ever since the reveal, the game just doesn’t look appealing to me. The combat looks highly repetitive and there doesn’t seem to be a vast variety of weapons or abilities to spice things up. I could be wrong but it’s Ubisoft we’re talking about so I know I’m right. This game will be 14 hours at the max.
If the game has gameplay like the IGN mission we saw, then I'd delay it tbh. That mission looked very boring and ripples in the water and particle effects and explosions looked ass. I'm still looking forward to outlaws but now I'm worried. Obviously, I'll NEVER preorder, especially a Ubi game so I guess we will have to wait and see.
I think will be ok at the start, but then get very boring and repetitive. Without a lightsaber, I don't see there being any skills/weapons worth trying to unlock.
