i saw people moaning that the map is too small to only be 5 mins to cross, but you have to remember GTA V takes about 6 mins from top to bottom to drive

I say it’s fair to have low expectations, there have been a lot of failures recently, especially from Ubisoft. If the games good people will buy it, if it’s not, they won’t be disappointed.
thing is though it's made by Massive, and if the division 1 and 2 was anything to go by I think im going to absolutely love this game to bits. the way they flesh out worlds is fantastic and I cant wait to delve deep into this and go exploring. plus the guys over at Larian are excited to play this, that's got to say something too!
Personally im going to wait until the game releases and i read enough reviews i stopped pre ordering games especially games that are 90 to 120 dollars!
I have been waiting to pre-order this game despite my excitement because I wanted to be cautious. The thing I wanted to be cautious about was that I didn't know how large the game would be or in what way. I was hoping for something like 10 planets at least that were medium size that we could explore. I would love to see 20 or more, but given the graphics engine I considered that a pipe dream. However to see that there is only five planets ruins my hope for this game. So now I will not be pre-ordering and I will instead be waiting for reviews and probably a sale.
I'm really hoping this is good, I love most things Star Wars. People be hating on this too much because of graphics. I did find it a bit funny that the MC looked like a puppet from Team America, but its just a screen grab which can look bad on any game. So far I haven't really seen anything "woke" in this game to complain about either. Just hoping its got enough to make it enjoyable without any light sabers or leveling up skills. I'm holding off on the season pass though, Ill try the main game first, also I often don't get DLC as I usually move on to another game quickly after. I just hope with the recent moves on Ubisofts part this game doesn't become unplayable in the future, since it requires internet the first time to install it. If I try to replay it in 10-20 years will I still be able to?
Ironic to make that statement when in fact lead star wars female characters are losing disney hundreds of millions. Numbers don't lie and people speak with their wallet. Can't really blame or shun people for not wanting to support it.

I heard they said you wont own this game. That you have to connect to internet , that you are paying to access it not own it and they can yank it anytime. Does anyone know more about this?

You heard correct. Always do your own research of course to be the most informed. But yes you do not own this game no matter how much or which edition you buy! They can and are prepared to do what they did to the crew with this ip.
Starting linear and in a small area is a great way to control the experience and pad it with all the good shit before opening it up into absolute trash. If they do it right it can take time for people to reach the trash and hopefully sucker in enough people to get the game. Making early sales high before they drop like a rock.

Open world games in my opinion is a waist of space even in COD. All one needs is one good title game with good story line, effects, and gameplay. I prefer variety than getting lost in the same game. 👍

Ngl, this game looks like ASS. With a boring ass fetch quest to ps3 explosions. This game looks sooooooo bad. EA with battlefront and both Jedi games makes this look like a clown show.
Why are star wars games so against character creation?! Why is that so crazy of a concept to them! like oh my god I don't want to play as a little girl, we haven't had character creation in a star wars game in knights of the old republic 2 which is insane.
I don't consider a 4 or 5 minute ride an open world game on a speeder or otherwise that's a zone. Open world games are Spider-Man/Spider-Man 2 PS4 PS5 Skyrim Assasins Creed Odesy Assasins Creed Valhalla and Oringins and the Batman Trillogy each of those have travel mechanics like horses vehicles and you ain't getting from one side to the other in 4 or 5 minutes. I'm not saying I ain't buying the game I am and looking forward to it but this isn't open world in my opinion.

You only get a single gun AKA blaster to beat the entire game with. So yeah, gunplay is pretty impressive in this game.

I believe another creator who got to play the game said the flying is much closer to Battlefront than Squadrons, so you’ll probably be pleased 🙂
