My 11 inch ipad pro 2020 replaced my laptop, I basically use it for presentations creation, notes, video editing and amazing media consumption as you said, I upgraded to 13 inch m4 this year and its amazing, the 13 inch is worth it if it going to be your main computer or for drawing. I know there are limitation but the ipadOS upgrades throughout the past years are really great, although slow progression but at least there is some progress! I know there are many limitations but overall it depends on your usage. Having an iMac or mac mini at home is an amazing combo.
iPad Pro 12.9” has been a great laptop replacement for me, I got rid of my MacBook Pro which I rarely used because I always gravitated towards my iPad and got an iMac m3 which to use as my main computer at home and I take my iPad to work everyday. iMac and iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard is such a perfect combo! ❤
Love to hear that the iPad has been really beneficial for you! I may in the future look into that setup, but right now I can’t justify giving up the laptop.
I think you have numerous good use cases... however, i didn't see anything on the list that requires an iPad Pro as opposed to an iPad Air for less cost.
Had the 12.9 3rd gen, loved it. Now I have a 12.9 6th gen and I am trying to make a review for it and...I don't get it. It feels just as limited is when I used one 4 years ago. Sure we davinci resolve and FCP but the former is limited in option and FCP isn't free or payable, just subscription based. Even when compared to a 16 inch Macbook Pro, I find it strange to do anything on the iPad. Also have an 11 inch iPad Pro and gotta say that format is just better overall. Smaller screen sure but the 12.9 inch just feels too tall for the Magic Keyboard. Then it has an M2 processor, but in games like Death Stranding, you can't adjust the graphics. So truely it plays like the iPhone 15 Pro Max, or a console game that was ported to a Nintendo Switch. It's like it wants to be a computer, but doesn't? I guess it really is a touchscreen monitor with a computer-but-not built into it.
@@YashBhika a full refresh would be nice, but the 5th to 6th Gen was almost nothing but a new processor. They need to do some big changes with the 7 if they want to get new buyers. A MacOS option would be cool and very unapple

I enjoyed 120 hz & have been getting accessories but yesterday all of a sudden just browsing internet for 1 hr or so, the middle in the back was warm...too warm... major red flag. Anyone else have heating issue? With 90 day return policy, i can still return it

That's great to hear! The M4 iPad Pro's look amazing, but I can't justify shelling out the cash for them right now. Maybe one day in the future!

I feel you. The iPad line up gets really disorienting at times. I do think it's time Apple gives the entire line up a refresh.
