I left school just over 2 years ago, I’m 19 in November. Just some wise words from me, don’t stress too much about your grades, if your best is a C that’s fine. Don’t think that it’s all about the 7’s,8’s and 9’s. Just do the best to your ability and you’ll be fine. It’ll be stressful for some but honestly remember to be proud of yourself for the work you do and don’t compare yourself to other people. You are you and therefore, you’ll intake information differently to others.
My exams were a joke, I swear my maths and science were like bloody menus there was so much food mentioned in them 🤦♀️😂😂

My school didn’t care if you revised at home for GCSE’s or not. I rarely revised to be honest 😂😂 I came out with 7 GCSE’s but it was mainly C grades with one B grade 😂

Malaika is really pretty.
I was nominated for head girl but I didn't get it despite being one of the brightest, most academic pupils, and sensible and well behaved, but I wasn't popular, there's the rub.
I didn't give up though, I got selected in the 6th form by the teachers to be 6th form rep, and that was actually interesting in that I got to meet dignitaries and visitors, we had a wealthy Arab couple come to the school and I learnt a little Arabic so I could greet them, and did some Arabic dancing, and they were quite surprised and pleased.
Malaika has something about her like me, although I wasn't mouthy or cheeky to the teachers, it's that motivation and drive, the determination to try again when you fail. I think she's a remarkable young lady, very distinct and impressive, and I hope she's doing well now in her vocation.
