I think you and Yzuei should do a triathlon on water, air and land. You have to build vehicles for each terrain, weapons included and unlimited repairs. Maybe have the tracks overlapping a bit so if someone pulls ahead in one terrain the other still has the option to try and slow them down.

Hey Scrapman, you should try building a ship based on the designs of Rear-Admiral Andrei Alexandrovich Popov. Basically, a warship in the shape of a circle. I think it could make for an interesting build!
You guys have done some great battles over the last few weeks. why not invite he guys to play team battles now you know how it works 1v1. Each player has set build limit or the team can combine to make one bigger build using both limits plus a bonus. Would be interesting to see what way they build and if one way of battling is better.
That battle is like if two ice-skaters started tossing rocks at each other, to the death. Also, Scraps' boat kinda reminds me of those landing crafts you'd see in military beach invasions. Maybe it's the flat top or the recessed cockpit, but it definitely gives me those vibes.
Completely random thought but you guys should get 1 or 2 minutes to make modifications after the showcase to involve more strategy. Would allow you guys the be able to take advantage of others' weaknesses.
I don't think Scrapman needed that for this competition. And they said the loosing boat could take a minute or two for modifications each round this time as well.
I would like to see a battleship sized armored speedboat race with TONS of weapons, like a stupid amount of weapons and turn the race into the Battle of Trafalgar but faster.
You should do something where u have to use a certain amount of blocks, no more, no less, and then battle. Another idea could be doing one where you lose when u lose ur 1st piece instead of when ur knocked out, because that would lend itself to more evasive strategies I think, and it could be cool.
Next challenge idea - Submersible aircraft. With just one vehicle : Round 1 surface battle to decide who has to go underwater, winner goes submersible. Then swap roles. Round 2, sub vs surface, winner takes to the sky. Swap roles after this round too. Round 3, free for all. Your vehicles can go under, on or above the water, so do it! Rather than swapping roles here for the second part, swap craft.
I like both of your design, i wish there was a fight with Yzuei design. Here is my idea: Cooperative Trebuchet challenge. Sling explosive to destroy a target. One player build the sling, release mechanism, beam and counter weight. The other the base frame and the rotation mechanism. P.S. you can also do it in a team cooperative evolution challenge. This will give you time to fix the winning build problems.
Yzeui has to be the best up and coming trailmakers UA-camr. He has some of the wildest creations I’ve seen, including the f22 in the cargo plane vs fighter jet challenge. P.S: I never said he was better than scraps, as I feel that they are equal because scraps builds for functionality whereas yzuei often builds - don’t get me wrong - very *aesthetic* builds which sometimes lack in efficiency, though some are even better than usual.
How about super boats vs raming jets ? A fast maneuverable boat and a medium fast jet or a plane that has explosivs in its front and the plane tries to ram the boat or even maybe a car trailmakers.
Next battle idea: Submarines vs Planes. Planes can have any weapon they want, but the Submarines can only have rockets. Basically a shark vs eagle fight, Submarines can be fast and agile enough to launch themselves into the air, while the Planes can be built in a way where they can essentially dive down (but they obviously need to be in the air).
I think it would be an interesting idea to make flying builds and then let the opponent place the camera(s) you have to use when operating the craft. (Within limits so they don't completely face you the wrong way).

Hooverpads work under water! So you could make submarines with them, go as fast as you can onto land and then watch who goes the furthest. Maybe even make it an evolution race

Day 12 of asking for a cargo plane race in Trailmakers 🛫 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Build cargo planes big enough to carry the specified cargo item (perhaps in teams). Then, take off from the start line and race to the collection point. Once the cargo is picked up, race to the drop off zone then to the finish line. You could do three races with a point system to determine the winner.
When you did the hover train race I think it would be fun to do an evolution version of that where you still gain a cab each round but you have to fight each other.
I was thinking you could do a wreckfest-style demo-derby/race in trailmakers, you could do a first round with no weapons (melee) and then add small weapons in further rounds
for the gun powder cannon, u should do a new 1v1 challenge where u guys face off using pirate ships, where u get a set of gunpowder cannons on each side, how many on each side you decide
What if you and the guys do a challenge in main assembly where you can only extrude, you have to hold control the entire time, and you can't delete stuff afterwards. (excluding things like seats and motors)

Make a challange where a person makes a water and air plane with the other deciding on using a boat or a plane as a attack vehicle, for boat and plane vehicle it could use a smart cannon for more lock or a mini cannon, only one though, when the attack vehicle boat or plane depending on the person's choice gets to use bombing bay or smart cannons.
how bout 2 Cargo planes carrying cargo crates with one repair vs 2 Anti-Air with infinite repairs so the plane carries a crate from one side to the other until shot down (tip: there"s crates inside the aircraft carrier). or something like this but in the high seas map.
Do escort kind of battle in multiplayer , like one person has to bomb targets where he's only allowed to have bomb bays no cannons and other person is allowed to have fighter jet which he has to defend against two attacker jets

I have the idea of fighting/racing "gorge jumpers" vehicles that drive with engines but use gimble jets and wings to jump around

With the auto targeting, I'd be curious if going asymmetric on seat and gun mounting would help.
Depends of the typical angle of fire. I think the weight placement probably has more of an effect than seat or gun placement
