Queen Camilla has been anointed and crowned at a ceremony in Westminster Abbey. @BBCNews
The ceremony saw Queen Mary's Crown placed upon Camilla's head, shortly after Charles III was crowned King.
Music and symbolism rang out inside Westminster Abbey while gun salutes and cheers were heard around the country.

I couldn’t help but picture Princess Diana being crowded Queen during all of this, as it should have been. The Peoples Princess is still very much alive in the hearts of her admirers around the world. Part of me is happy that Charles & Camilla finally got to be together, at long last. But Diana will always remain the most beautiful, compassionate & deeply loved Royal of our generation. And I am certain she is looking down at Charles, smirking, shaking her head with good humor & wishing him luck on his coronation & reign. And laughing her ass off at Camilla 😂

As much as Camilla is the love of Charles life, im not a fan. Diana married him despite him being her sisters ex, who refused an offer of marriage and then divorced him so she would never have been Queen anyway. I watched Diana's tantrums at polo matches and other events she may have been lovely to look at but not Queen material that needs stability and sacrifice. The fact that the monarchy are meant to represent those chosen by god, Devine and a representation of all things holy yet these two spent most of their adult lives sinning, lying and cheating. Why would they feel sick at seeing their father's wife become Queen Consort? When their father remarried, his new wife did not replace their mother but she did gain the right to become Queen Consort upon his accession to the throne. And even if their mother hadn't died in 1997, she was divorced from their father so could never have become Queen Consort.

Social attitudes towards race, empire, illegitimacy, abortion, homosexuality, and pretty much any major moral issue have changed dramatically in that same time frame. Royal attitudes towards virgin brides have altered in half that time frame - that's what prevented Charles from marrying Camilla in the first place.

Why in the world do people still get so crazy about Diana? She was miserable in her marriage. Who would wish for a woman to stay forever with a man who didn’t love her? You don’t have to like it but it’s total delusion that people think Diana would’ve ever made it to this day intact emotionally. She deserved better and would’ve had she still been alive.

It's obvious how comfortable they are with each other. They make each other happy. She knows how to tame him, how to deal with his fastidious ways, and how to bring him back down to earth. She never tries to overshadow or emasculate him, nor does she court media attention.
With her family background, her rural interests, and her personality, she is an ideal royal consort and absolutely deserves this. She is also, from what I hear from everyone who has met her, unfussy and lovely in person with a great sense of humour. She deserves this.

It is what it is. I do feel it wasn't Diana, Charles or Camilla's fault I do believe as much as I love our late beloved Queen, in her attempts to dictate her son's life she started what turned into an ultimate disaster. If she just let Charles marry Camilla from the start, Diana wouldn't have had to go through the emotional torment. She could have found someone who not only loved her but cherished her. I do not believe Charles had any ill will to Diana and I do believe there were mistakes on both sides. Queen wanted Parker Bowles out of Anne's life so decided if he marries Camilla then thats two things sorted. Also the princes managed to change their grandmother, if the Queen was more open as she was in her latter years Diana may have been supported more. The Queen and Prince Phillip were extremely fond of Diana and they tried to convince Charles. It was a mess all three victims and all three at fault. I don't deny Diana got the worst out of it all. But, I do think she got engaged and married at too young an age and was overwhelmed and did not get the support she needed at the time. Charles is a big idiot if he knew he couldn't let his first love go he shouldn't have messed with a young girls life just because he formed a friendship with her whilst dating her older sister. im at a point let Diana rest in peace, there is too much horrible shit happening in the world globally that we need to forgive, even if we can't forget. Our current King made that situation worse that his mother unintentionally set in motion. Im a bygone be bygone stage now, when will the finger pointing stop. In end its Diana's son who will continue the royal lineage. Sorry if I offend people but there's alot more to consider. I think beloved late Queen unintentionally started this saga and that her son our KIng made it worse.
I blame the Queen Mother and Lord Mountbatten. Queen Elizabeth simply handled it the best she could.

When William becomes King, Catherine will be Queen Consort. The spouse of the British monarch is always the monarch's consort. The word consort is simply not used in everyday speech.

This ravishing beauty by Andrew Lloyd Webber is the best thing, where bringing new stuff to the coronation is concerned. With lyrics from Psalms, it couldn’t be more heavenly, and perhaps more importantly, far from controversy and contentiousness heavenly.
No doubt Webber came with a complete understanding of the significance of the moment, and had in mind all camps, and how what they’re seeing triggers their feelings.
Can’t think of any other composition that would have married the lyrics so well , and have the yearners for the fairy tale & the acceptors of the fact, and those in between, all joyfully reconciled under the will of the divine.

As for the right Charlie/Charlene, I didn't watch the coronation but recently saw a clip of when the archbishop was about to crown him and called him "the king of kings and lord of Lords". He wasn't referring to anyone other than Charles/Charlene. He clearly wasn't referring to Our good Father nor to 'Jesus'. He was calling Charlie that. I commented on it in a few other comment sections on other videos over a few weeks. When I went back to get the link and wanted to check it was the one where the archbishop said that, they had slightly edited the wording so that it sounded as if he weren't referring to Charlie - but I had listened to it 3 or 4 times to be sure when I first heard it weeks before.

She has faced years of hatred, harassment and bullying and she has still stood by her own convictions and her true love and hasn’t actually complained very much. Meghan on the other hand? Tried being a duchess for all of 5 minutes before the going got tough and she bolted leaving a trail of destruction behind her. Not counting Prince Harry, but to be fair his wife has him by the balls, as far as I’m concerned, Queen Camilla is a lovely lady who has done her level best to integrate herself into the intricacies of the Royal Family. Her grandchildren and step-grandchildren seem to like her well enough.
At the end of the day, that’s ultimately all that truly matters. The monarchy is a family, not a firm. All families have that ‘outsider’ who wants to be part of the tribe but has never been fully accepted… my boy and I intend to pray for them both. God Save King Charles; Long live Queen Camilla!
