@Eckhart-j8f not sure what u are referring to. polanski and tate lived together in california. he was away making a film and tate had dinner with friends and the manson group murdered her and her friends after they arrived home from dinner. what drug house? facts are important right?
Strong minded man! He lost so many loved ones! Now he's 90! Fantastic movie director. I just watched The 9th Gate with Johnny Depp and Roman's sexy blond wife😳 Dick Cavett did a horrible interview. He was not prepared at all with good questions about Roman's work.
@@MartinSage he always tries to make it about his dumb jokes, even though he has guests with the most interesting stories. He's like yesterday's Adam Corolla, you just want to tell him to stop clowning and let the guests talk .
This dude is a creep. I usually like to try and separate the art from the artist and sometimes I can do it, but not with this one. Polanski should have been in jail. And anyone with half a brain cell in their skull knows that this probably wasn't the only time the guy did this crap. These Hollywood types get away with far too much.
❤❤u who are reading here, what he shared re. growing up in Poland ... this is what this interview is really about. The audience, u can tell was very emotional and wanted to laugh, but this is all being brought up again in this time cycle, so pls pay attention.🦁🦁
if u get a chance to see "knife in the water" it is so beautiful. i saw it when i was a teenager and i fell in love with his movies. i wish people would see every case-woody allen, harvey weinstein etc.... as separate. Polanski is unique. His accuser asked the judge to dismiss the case. It is ridiculous that he continue to be persecuted when nothing else has ever come up against him etc. Cosby walks free etc. Polanski is amazing. The young woman who accused him at the time now works in his defense. That should speak for itself.
Its heartbreaking what he went through during the holocaust
Legend Cavett
Wonder what people will be talking about in the comments? Oh. Yeah. That. 😬
He is still a fugitive.
From a chain gang.
Not really, I lived in Europe and Asia for 20yrs. I never felt like a fugitive. The US is not so great😡
Great master in film
Maybe being a child molester had something to do with it?
You’d think
This was before that Einstein 😅
@@MikeHunt90731...... or during 😂.
He definitely did a lot of it back then too @@MikeHunt90731

He is a very captivating story teller
It's just so weird to watch this knowing what we know now. Heck even then just two years after Manson must have been weird to watch.
'Roman baby you know Shakespeare is gonna poison box office'
Polanski is a genius director
And an even bigger child molester.
Unfortunately
How? Why? He doesn't strike me as a genius, but as more of a fugitive prevert.
Who cares?
My man could've learned a lot from Diddy.

@@MartinSage yea, it should've been Chris Hansen telling ol Romey to "take a seat"

Way way before that.

Better never comeback
Pure genius

Generous guy imo. His wingman always got the mom.
Very funny. You could choose to grow up if you want.
