For the people who live in Canada, the government offers a TFSA (Tax-Free Savings Account) where you can invest up to 6k a year. When you turn 18 you automatically have 6k worth of room to invest for free without paying taxes on your returns. If you do not use your room you can carry it forward. A TFSA is a great way to get into investments, unlike stocks and crypto a TFSA account is managed by portfolio managers. You can open an account with your local bank or an investment company.
