This is so me right now, i don't know how and where to start from my life is a mess right now 🤦🏾♀️
The way I can relate. I didn't used to believe people when they said *"I forgot who I was."* But really no cap it's a real thing. I was going through the hardest trailing years of my life and when I was finally out of it. I completely forgot who I was. Like my friends that I knew from highschool/ secondary school were talking about me in past tense saying stuff like "You used to be so bubbly and funny", "I don't like seeing you like this", "You were always the funniest person in the crowd."
I think the scariest thing about hearing my friends say that to me, was the fact that I didn't believe them. I didn't believe that I was funny, I didn't believe I was this fun bubbly person. Until I got better.
I remember I was in the market and I just started laughing for no reason. Yes I was sleep deprived, but for some weird reason everything was funny. These days it actually gets hard sometimes because I have to contain my laughter when my mum is shouting at something 'bad' I did lol🤣😭.
But long story short, there was a time in my life where I just couldn't think past the pain I was in. I couldn't even see a future, let alone a "bright one", but God did what he does and I'm back. My friend said that she could tell it was like my "light was returning back". I'm grateful she said that because it shows how far I've come.❤

Yea, before finding yourself you just feel like you need people to love you and that's what causes us to want to be in a relationship.. But when you fond who you are and accept and getting your peace then you realize people should be blessed to know you and have you in their mind.. I won't lie I'm still struggling with accepting myself and growth..

I totally understand you. After the breakup my friends were excited for me instead of being sad for me. I even got engaged to him. I lost all my hype and ambitions, he would control me on what to do and what not to do and thats not freedom. My friends would say it but I would be angry too. Am glad am free looking for more new endeavors.

Same thing I was discussing with my friend earlier today. It’s okay to pick yourself up and do the work! I was so down I wasn’t in a relationship at some point and it pushed me to stupid situationships. I bet if I was with somebody that was giving me 200k monthly, I’d have never figured out I’d be able to make it in a day. Sometimes some relationships limit you, break through.
