Be nice to be able to walk into a store, shop online for Remington reloading components again. Also, hope improvement to the rimfire line is in the works - CCI is now part of the same "Vista Outdoors" family, so maybe taking lessons from them would be helpful in producing reliable rimfire ammo.
Remington hollow points are the only ones I have found that will run in my Glock .380. That is one of the things I hate about auto pistols. They are are not as reliable as a revolver.
I don't hunt, but generally go to the range once each week. I rotate a couple different caliber firearms through my range time, and prefer Remington products. They are widely available at a reasonable price, and go bang when I pull the trigger. Accuracy of the products mostly depend on me, the weather, and the weapon I'm using, but I've never been disappointed by the quality of Remington products.
We that have 35 Remingtons don't go out and blast through a thousand rounds at a clip. That's our big game hunting rifle. (or hand gun) We just need to sight it in and shoot maybe a round or two in the field. We're not going through it like a 9mm or an AR so the demand isn't as great.
Years later the surge hasn't ended... In Upstate Illion NY you can't find a box of Remington 3006 or much of anything else.. We have shortages everywhere..
I've always liked the Remington core lokt bullets for hunting and being a handloader I could make reliable ammo with that bullet the factory green and yellow Remington ammo used to suck for accuracy factory Winchester was good and federal was good also I own quite a few high power rifles in various calibers and manufacturers and shooting from a rest Remington always gave me the worst accuracy but I would shoot it for the brass to make my own ammo maybe now they'll make it better
@@JamesBond-so1of I heard LEAN and other buzzwords associated with cost savings. Not necessarily anything to do with the performance. And that could vary gun to gun.
I have a Savage 250-3000 that I can not use because I am running short is ammo. I have about a half a box of Remington 250 Savage left and can not find any anywhere. How about making some of the hard to get calibers you use to make that you no longer do. A 70 yo Ex Army MP Vet. Thank you.
They are mostly making ammo for the military. That is the reason so much 9 MM and 5.56 is being churned out. Even then the civilian market only gets the leftovers.
I hope that a run of different calibers are made SOON. Have a 250 savage, can't find ammo.... there are thousands (maybe more?) Of this caliber rifle around, no ammo.
Stay away from China ammo....deffective primers, garbage...I still have Czech surplus ammo....work great.....Can Tire carries Federal 7.62X39 ammo.... Yugoslavia made a great lead round nose back in the day...got a couple floating around....
In London Ontario Canada I have bought 6 boxes of 223 Rem. Sierra 69gr. Match and half of the cases were so dirty they looked like range brass. The latest boxes had cases that were crimped at least 14k with no cantilever just a deep crater around the bullet. These Rem. guys are a joke !
Lean manufacturing is about twiddling thumbs over a tiny amount of waste. They aren't expanding the scale of manufacturing. Just having to retool is waste. However there are still folks buying just for resale. To stop that phenomenon, you gotta flood the market with 35 Rem or whatever it is. No one has much incentive to overproduce.
Great video. I've been using the Remington rifle pistol and shotgun ammo for over 40 years .

I’d like some Remington reloading components to hit stores again.
Remington stopped making 35 Remington and 30-40 Krag. No one is making 35 Remington right now. Come on Remington!!
Especially since Marlin has the Model 336 back in production. It seems ammo makers only care about .223 and 9mm anymore.
Winchester is making 35 Remington GunBroker has it and yes a high price
A run of all the model 8 and 81 calibers .25REM .30REM and .32REM as well as .35REM

Fantastic
Primers!
Informative
How about not charging damn near $50 for 20 rounds of 150grain core lokt tipped 30-06. That would be cool.
Can you tell me why Remington 9mm ammo is more expensive than Winchester 9mm ammo?
I need 35 Remington!!
Me too. Seems to be a common refrain!!
Hornady makes it 35 Remington Lever Evolution.
Hope they star make in 35 Rem again thanks
22and12gauge is my favorite

When can I find some 280 Remington ammo 🤔
Primers anyone ???????
Some of us like to shoot more than 20 rounds a year, Why not some cheap bulk Ammo for serious shooters?????
Still can't get it in northern ontario, canada, yet
Would be nice to get 300 rum brass in Canada out of stock everywhere.
What a shame it is that Henry makes such a nice rifle but there's NO 35 CALIBER ammo. Why can't your company do more?
Wtf happened to .410 ammo?
Only ammo I use👍👍👍

257 Roberts 35 Remington ammo Remington has not made any in long time
I wish anyone would make .257 roberts again. I'm desperately low and no signs of finding any.
@Peter Angles with a name like peter no Wonder you are hate full if you're Short than your a small peter
So what you're telling me is there really is no reason why it can't have a lower selling price?
Would Love to see some more 7.62X39 options up here in Canada. we are crying for it. All we can get is stuff with a Chinese accent.
Stay away from China ammo....deffective primers, garbage...I still have Czech surplus ammo....work great.....Can Tire carries Federal 7.62X39 ammo.... Yugoslavia made a great lead round nose back in the day...got a couple floating around....
@@lonewolf5896 What about Wolf?
Will they make .222 magnum ammunition?
Try Midway USA. They have Nosler in stock. I believe that Remington, do runs on occasion.
I was about to comment the same.. last box of on the shelf I found was in 1997 or so.

Not good 👎🏼
remingtons prices are too high. yall are out of ur damn minds
Why is your 300 weatherby so much more then 300 win mag? I like shooting Remington ,but not for what you want for a box.
I got a box it was 54$ with a tag on top of a tag of 22$
Make some 8mm Remington Magnum
Make sum 8mm Mauser ammo.
Sounds great why can't you use cheaper materials like aluminum or steel in your high-volume rounds like 9mm and 223?
Remington center fire good, rim fire... mostly bad.
Its not" Lowenoke" Arkansas, its pronounced like" Low noke "
