is there anything more beautiful than our universe? I saw the clear star night 3 times now and nothing came even close to this. I just stand there for 2 hours looking up to the sky. It is such a beatiful galaxy.

It would have been awesome if each clip had the stars in the exact same orientation where the milky way is in the clip or the big dipper and polaris. This would reveal even more about the observers location as there are clips from the temperate areas to the tropics.. Well done video. Thumbs up.

The way that this video was put together just pulls out my deepest emotions and I really love what you have created because of that. The beauty of our Galaxy along with the music and seeing everything from a different angle, focusing on the stars being fixed instead of Earth so you can see the movement of Earth, just creates this really weird feeling inside of me that I need to cherish everything. Thank You for making this wonderful piece of art.

This is what I was looking for. It's not just another video, here we can see the earth as the beautiful and magnificent planet we are in, rotating and doing its orbit with the background stars. Wow.
I guess this could be done with a 360 camera, in order to get more image material as the earth moves.

This is going to be a long comment, but I wanted to share something:
I found this video a little more than 6 years ago, when I was 21 and going through one of the hardest moments of my life as I attempted to leave an abusive partner. Deep in grief, I stumbled upon the video and it brought me to tears as it reminded me of the beauty of our incredible earth, and how truly precious our time here is. It helped me, for a minute, to put everything in perspective. This might sound silly, but I am not exaggerating when I say this video got me through some of my darkest nights during that time.
I'm now 28, and going through a health crisis. I randomly remembered this video and looked it up. It took me SO long to find, but when I finally did, upon hearing the first note I instantly started sobbing. I remember younger me finding courage to make it through those dark nights. It makes me believe I can make it through this one, too. And I am humbled again by the reminder of the beauty all around us, as we circle beneath the stars.
This is all to say: thank you so much for this video. The beautiful shots, editing, music, all of it is so captivating and profoundly moved me when I've needed it most. I know you probably didn't have the intention for it to have such an intense effect😂 but it did!
Much love to all. I know you can make it through your darkest nights, too 🌌

Thank you for sharing this story! I am humbled and happy to hear that this video spoke to you in some of the darkest times and that it still resonates with you. As someone who makes films for a living, one of my goals is to try and create experiences that resonate with people, and to hear how much this video helped and resonated with you makes me truly happy. I made the video to help give that perspective that we all just spinning around in a much bigger universe, and we can so often lose perspective ecive on how wonderful, strange, and beautiful that is. Keep on keeping on. Your story is inspirational and important, and I thank you for being brave enough to share it. Keep on keeping on and keep on finding beauty that pushes you on. I've stopped making small videos like this, and moved onto full length documentaries. My most recent film CANARY is about an explorer who faced a health crisis and it is an inspirational story. You may enjoy it. (I'd be happy to find a way for you to see it, or refund your purchase of it...) Let me know.

Can a fixed star (relative from our perspective) not be a projection of earth by its atmosphere behaving like a lense (sort of a shadow or projection of earth somewhere in free space, einsteins lensing works from a far, but are we not casting something ourselves to?, like a light on earth seen in glass can make it look as if floating in mid air)? Always wondered if Polaris the fixed northstar (blueish like we are) or Vega (combination of blue and yellow pretty closely together like earth and the moon are) was fixed because of being a possible light projection from an atmospheric lensing effect of our own atmosphere. im not good enough in astrology but fixed stars are always on the other side of the sun in the nightsky ofcourse, so only visible at night...... The moon has a tiny atmosphere and is much yellower, maybe there is a combination of angles in the sky representing our twin system by focusing the light passing thru our atmospheres, fixing them on their positions in the sky. Sometimes our moon appears bigger and sometimes it appears smaller, this might also be because ur atmosphere acts like a lens behind us and the upper half might focus light inward making stars seem smaller, and the second half might be projecting us in the nightsky as a (virtual?) fixed star... i can imagine a focal point in free space giving off sort of a shimmering effect in free space of some sorts that seem fixed, if two beams of focussed light (left and right passing our planet but inside our atmosphere) were to converge forming a focal point, i can imagine there, locally, at this point in free space being created a local temperature, maybe hot enough (focussed) to give off light perhaps (exite local matter enough to start vibrating and atomic collisions forming temperature and a light effect, i know science says free space is empty but for some water atoms like is believed but who knows when the aether wil make a comeback, maybe after we realise the sun is the source of all of our missing black matter ( the total mass we come short is spread out over our entire local space itself and pushes or pressures our atmosphere forming what we call gravity), ejecting soot like ultrafine black dark particles continuously (almost like photons and their virtual mass, i think the sun might shoot dark burnt neutrinos becomming photons the moment they slamm into or pop into our atmosphere creating a local temperature like the heat in our thermosphere (2000 degrees celcius?), we cant find the mass of one single photon yet however we have no measurement devices that are influenced by this little mass of one photon i think, plus try to catch one in flight.........)), so the left over particles of a nuclear chemical burning process by the suns nuclear powerplant, the (fully? probably a variation of exit velocities) used and burnt nuclear waste ( its so fine it might float inert after an impact forming our fine space material itself and we cant find it ( no light emitted when inert, wheter inside our atmosphere or in space) in between everything we now ( a finer grain we cant yet measure or find) and might be found like between atoms and other particles that we found to have a seemingly preserved or continued state over time (we name states after discovery) of energy over time) being ejected (parts of atoms, or broken up to dark micro/nano dust particles they might have a combined total weight and its own dimension or atmosphere, slamming into our atmosphere creating local friction, temperature and light, making the stars actually light us from our atmospheric border on into our atmosphere), reaching us back again from the origin point of the light in free space, with a time delay ofcourse, we would need to correct for the light the distance has to travel from us and back to us from the vocal point in free space, this takes time so will maybe introduce a lag, or angle difference. the sun is actually on a different position in space than we see it from earth, its 8 minutes further along than we actually see it. aswell, to make a calculation i would probably need to know the distance of our sun to earth, earth to the vocal point or possible fixed star, AND the width or size of our atmosphere to calculate the possibility. the ancient hebrews believed the stars where fixed in our firmament, this could be more thrue than we know if the light comes into being in the form we can see or measure it as humans, exactly at the atmospheric border on the inside our atmosphere making our stars look like they are in an actual real dome shape.... our atmosphere might be like a lights velocity limiting entity, not telling us anything about the maximum speed for matter, we imposed the speed of light universally, and on all matter while it has none we can measure.... The sun might litterally be what makes all known atoms ( i.e. matter big enough for humans to find/see/measure it) .spin.
blackholes might just be atmospheres filled with particles ( different gasious mixes might act on or allow for light differently, like nebulas in space might have different densities giving of a difference in colour or change the velocity of a particle moving thrue it, making it hit our local lenses or atmosphere at a different velocity, creating a different local color for us here on/after impact) that do not let any light out again because well light gets blocked by a thick atmosphere (barely in might stop it completly going out), it might come in and not make it back out again due to a thickness of a atmosphere ( or matter in it), earth at its night side would also look like a blackhole itself from afar... if enough high temperature creates enough atomic collisions it might block light from leaving the atmosphere again (more atomic movement increased the chance of a super small photon being blocked by the nucleus?). like say from volcanic action or what ever..... the same atmospheric fog or haze we see on earth looking in the distance will also be present in space (looking up directly is a darker blue, iwe see a mix of the blackness of space and the air (darker), look along the horizon and you see lighter blue skies, more matter in between you and the local spot you are watching), yes according to science there is less matter in space (some water atoms?) but the distances are also much greater in space aswell... maybe the background radiation is the furthest out light can reach us back from..... a maximum distance light could travel would signify photons having a mass, and some resistance experienced by it will limit its reach.
The ancient Hebrews believed the sky was a solid dome ( well yeah more solid than air or space so thrue ) with the moon and the stars embedded IN IT! This is exactly what I figured before knowing they believed this, the stars are exactly seen from the point their "light" touches our atmospheric dome, and light is only light in the form we see it from that point on making them seem embedded! IN the firmament!!! If light travels here as dark matter to ignite on our dome and become light on impact with our atmosphere, this explains why this seems so. the ancients might have been more right than us today again.
"the firmament was provided with windows and doors thru which the rain and snow might descend" and " the waters where separated from the water from above" we seem to call them just clouds.
"and let them be for lights IN the firmament of heaven, to give light upon the earth" wow.... In the firmament again... The separation of waters must have been the clouds in the sky and the seas below.
The underworld is most definitely inside our planet but that's another story....
Of course the horizon is at eye level.. Its always at a distance from you when you are within our atmosphere.... If you are above the earths atmosphere yourself there is no horizon... Well the horizon line itself gets more curved and morphs until you notice the spherical shape. The line becomes a circle the further you zoom out..... I agree there is a lot wrong with science and their truths but flat is not it, the ancient Hebrews believed the stars, the moon and the sun where set INSIDE our atmosphere, I think this could be a truth we never understood. If the sun emits burnt out chemicals, black dark burnt super fine and nearly weightless like photons, particles left over from the nuclear chemical reaction, the waste product of the sun, which it ejects fast! What if this matter ignites on our atmospheric lense? And become light on impact with our atmosphere? Then the stars seemed to be in a real dome shape around us. Lighting us from the atmospheric border. Light might only be able to exist inside our atmosphere.
Space it to cold for a real human scale fire, there's no oxygen in space, no good starting temperature to exited atoms easily, and no matter/fuel, nothing to reflect light off except planets or stuff that's big enough to be hit and reflect light. Or have it light up on impact with it. The sun would eject dark matter itself, filling up space with dark unlit matter, inert matter, holding no temperature, so no glow, or no emission of light itself. So tiny we can't see these particles individually. All these particles together have DO have a mass we can feel or weigh, we call it gravity which pushes down on us from space on our atmosphere up until our super solid planets core hot core. Our centre of gravity. If light heats up our planet locally, like the hot thermosphere (2000 degrees Celsius) then it would be the reason our atmospheric balloon would expand, depending on with what the atmosphere is filled up we light up more or less bright. The earth is like a glowing light bulb being powered by the sun. The more oxygen in our atmosphere the more our atmosphere can expand, it works on our surface, but also to hold up our atmospheric border. Einstein figured out a gravity well,if you would take 2 of these wells you would have an atmosphere where in everything fall back to the core, the centre of gravity. If we experience night, someone observing this planet would see a black hole. A atmosphere filled with unlit matter. No sun, no light. Suns die, suns are born. When our sun started, it melted the special we are on, allowing for water or seas where plant life fell in to start foot synthesis. The more this happened, the more our atmosphere could grow, and the sun slowly heats us up to a state where it can exited the local particles enough so they can vibrate enough to give off the effect light them selves. Only the suns plasma can make its cold space surroundings heat up enough to make a glow visible locally in space. Everything for a human scale fire or light to exist is inside our atmosphere. We can't light a cigarette in space. We can however be a surface to reflect light on and light up on impact. We can't feel one single photon hurt us with its temperature, our nerve endings are to big actually, and the photon touches us so fast, it can not transfer its temperature on to us alone, only multiple photons form a pressure or local temperature we can feel. Also, the suns light takes 8 minutes to reach us, so when we look from within our atmosphere we see light, but the actual position of the sun is already much farther in space. All we see has already happened.
The moment a photon hits your skin, a signal must travel to our brain, but realization always follows after the fact. I think a particles extreme velocity is ripping apart anything, in space but more easily seen with friction in our air. The air provides the friction a photon needs to light up, like a space ship on re entry on our atmospheric border, so does a photon come into existence after friction making it look as if the stars are embedded in our atmospheric dome. So it possibly changes from a neutrino state in space to a photon state inside our atmosphere. Einstein said E=mc2, I think light is no constant, it is how ever always there, always on (constant). Its velocity is not a constant however, only its presence is. Time is a constant because we invented this notion. Its based on our movement around the sun, but the universe does not have a notion of time, if we traveled to another solar system, we would look at the local sun and see it interact with the local planets to tell the local time. Time is additive, it only adds up, movement we describe by it, can not unhappen. We can only reverse the order in our minds by a mind experiment. Or rewind the tape and look back. The universe will keep on moving at its on natural pace no matter if we observe it happening or not. Space time can not warp, its the lights mass (its unproven photons have mass I know) that is bend (not space or time) by moving three an atmospheric lense. Being pulled by gravity is my guess. Science took some way to complicated turns. A blackhole (black ball or sphere) is just a black body absorbing light. If there's matter in an atmosphere it blocks incoming light, but it could also let it in just barely and then not let it out again, blocking it on its way out to tell us of its existence. Or volcanic action, or a simulated thickness of an atmosphere by heat, the more heat there is in a thermosphere, the more light has trouble moving past the exited locally present atoms. So blackholes need not be so mysterious, and dark matter is ejected by the sun to fill up our entire space, and re cycle it by attracting it three its of centre of gravity. If dark matter contained enough temperature in it it would light up to be visible if it was big enough to contain enough temperature to be allowed to do this. Maybe its size is jut to small to carry enough temperature to heat up ( in space and or both in our atmosphere) temperature from the sun is only carried by particles, the temperature is transferred like a laser does at the end. In transition its the matter that carries the temperature, only to be felt or measured once we interrupt the beam. We could light up a light bulb over a distance if we used a laser hot enough to ignite the gas inside a light bulb continuously. We humans have to pay for power, the sun does not, it is always on, and always half our surface gets a temperature, which is divided over our atmosphere as one pressure by winds.
as above so below and vice versa, einstein said energy is movement,
i say energy is movement, of relative temperature carried in matter (both visible and invisible states) creating a flow between absolute points in space.
i actually reached sort of a conclusion, it all came together like this:
i think the sun (or any sun) is the SOURCE of dark matter, itself think about it. black burnt particles (soot like) want to escape this gigantic heat VERY bad, they want to normallize and cool off in space, they seek room very fast, or space (which is a cooling place) to release their energy. they seek to move away from that intense heat of the sun, broken up atoms, atomic waste material left over from the burning process. super fine grained, almost weightless EXACTLY LIKE photons (just a energy level or state we recognized and named) by whatever chemical reaction or fusion happens, its burnt out dark matter particles being ejected at enormous velocities from the sun (that fills up the entire space available (universal recycling of matter) raising spaces total thickness slowly if contained, otherwise we expand which we seem to do, meaning we have yet even more space yet to fill up)and that ignites into light on contact by enormous friction and when a medium allows for it at this energy level, like inside our atmosphere via our local oxygen mixture (depending on fotosynthesis levels) where temperatures are allowed to emit light by friction.. creating the total pressure inside our atmosphere allowing for inflating this balloon depending on what gas mixture is exactly inside it, and the total temperature generates by a planets fulltime sun reflecting surface total generating temperature. the atmospere is being pushed in by space its total weight. the sun has local real light, just out in the form of a glow from the plasma, the enveirontment must be exaclty right, generating enormous local heat, but i think at the end of the suns glow, matter tends to keep moving but loose its light emitting ability in the cold of space. space does not allow for a real burn if you dont bring a foccused plasma power. much energy is needed to do what the sun does.
space itself is the zero state of matter, no temperature no light no velocity in its rest state, made up of burnt particle the ultimate small building blocks, the legos (godparticles? a clumed together packet consisting of many bosons?) that can become it all. under natures laws, from scratch, like how more complex fuctions of atoms (gain functions, allowing possiblilities like creatures breathing it and using it) under atmospheric pressure inside our atmospheric bubble become possible only here inside it but not in free space without the rest sustaining it. the planet holds a certain total heat, a certain temperature, like it is temperature that allows for cohesion (or outside pressure by temperature differences between dimensions of two (whatever, big and small sorted by the same matereials, so a shared common temperature inside a closed off wall or atmosphere of its own, magnetism also seems to works on these super small invisible particles just like our sun does with relative temperatures between local temperatures), able to move these invisible particles and their temperature between them, moving in between our air or oxygen atoms). two particles stick more and more stick (bigger pressure on all the outsides of the particles group experiencing a pressure by the rest on them), constantly readjusting its centre of gravity in the grand cold dark mixture, its mass slowly growing, its reflecting surface growing, its temperature able to grow, allowing for more complexity, atrackting more by its small gravity, forming more structures, allowing for more growth and possibilities.... its all depending on each other. like we should learn as humanity.
so i Don't think its flat, but hollowed in some parts is very possible, the poles are least visited by man and seem a good place to come in and go out of the atmosphere unnoticed. The dome shape I might have found an explanation for, what if light only exist from the atmospheric border, where there is a starting temperature, matter we can see, that's solid enough to reflect temperature, and oxygen, 3 things ( the fire triangle) inside our atmosphere needed for a burn not available in the cold -270 degrees of space, I think matter inside space is just to cold of a starting temperature to be lit up (water atoms being there longer and very small not able to contain enough heat to allow for the effect light in this extreme cold) by the rays leaving the sun. Sure close to the sun there's local light and temperature, but further from the suns glow it cools off but does not loose its incredible velocity! What if light is only able to exist again (due to the high friction created on impact, with our local matter in our atmospheric border and beyond, big enough to hold or contain enough temperature to emit visible to humans light, creating temperature like the hot thermosphere we have locally up there) here inside our border, far away stars just vaguely light up but if I myself look long and closely I can sort of really see all the stars in a real dome shape close around our earth as if a projection. Only visible at the end where the effect is, like they really seem to originate as light from our atmospheric border, also working as some sort of lens. Our atmosphere is almost like a light bulb being power from outside. If the surface reflects enough light creating local temperature, this might keep the bubble inflated by expansion, also depending on the amount of gassious solutions and how they are mixed is how well light, real light is able to exist in it by its properties and temperature. The atmospheres size seems related to the surface that reflect and the temperature it creates globally as a n outward force to keep space from flowing in. While space has a total weight pressing down on us as well. What if the planet earths blue glow around it is where matter is turning solid enough so it can be exited enough to start emitting or allowing light. And become visible to humans. And would we not look like a blackball ourselves if we had something like a nuclear winter or a lot of volcanic eruptions happen, not allowing light out again, or much harder (if light had mass the bending could be explained by gravity, the bending happening inside the atmosphere from a lens function, if we put two of Einstein gravity wells on top of each other would we not have an atmosphere? A Omni gravity well, wherein all falls back to the centre of gravity, most pressure or all pressure from within our own atmosphere is pushing down on our core, the centre of gravity....)), while incoming light on the dark dust is being dampened or absorbed. Or another possibility, a super hot, light hindering thermospheric layer, the hotter it gets, the more atomic collisions, the more heat, the more light gets blocked on the way in AND out, it could be... Much easier explanation than what stands now I think photons having mass would explain a lot of things but this thinking is not allowed by mainstream science yet ( ! ), and to scifi for many to imagine.
True artists like painters really know how to see light differently and see the values, this is not the same as most people see light, they must learn to see this and its a hard skill to learn let alone master. They emulate true nature, the same as the most advanced game engines do today, if they did not use physics they would not look so good, things wouldn't work. I think science thinks everything that is invisible must be to small to see, I think faster than light moving matter is possible when light can only exist inside a light limiting or allowing atmosphere with atmospheric resistance, thus the dramatic slowdown, light from the sun might even reach above light speeds itself during travel before impact, how would we know, if we go up in space, the photons ignite on your ship or suit directly, creating a local effect again plus the temperature again, like a laser works to, most lasers don't have temperature until we put something in between to interrupt and there the extreme rise in temperature starts happening, the vaporization takes place where it hits. We imposed the speed of light on matter because we can not measure matter of a single photon, but what if matter is the cause, if its speed was that of light, and it would move in front of the effect light, the burning effect emitting in all directions from a moving origin point. If we don't expect matter in front of the photon, we would not look for it perhaps, it would also only be half lit and very small. I think I have seen this little half lit ball in a youtube video about a single photon being filmed at a billion frames per second, a little grayish hard to see supersmall spot of light in the shape of a half ball seems to be in front of the effect but even if its the virtual mass causing friction with air, making it hot enough to ionize air or oxygen atoms locally on passing by, we as humans would not feel the intense heat either, our nerve endings might not even be big enough of a pinprick by one single photon, plus it happens so fast the pain is gone before we realize it (no time for a single photon to transfer its heat in a single form)
the universe seems pre-live, everything can or are able to construct in our minds what we see.
The mass of a black hole is directly related to its size!! and Yes that's fits my theory!!!
A bigger black hole will have more mass. And a blackhole or source of black matter is a sun itself and it contains ALL matter that it spreads all the time over the universe or space immediate space around it, but even more when it explodes from a sun into a black hole, this creates a pressure difference or a shockwave ( it creates two separate sides to a separator with different properties and densities) in space itself with a different pressure inside this spherical zone. Our density of space, or our gigantic sphere might look i have a giant blackhole on an even bigger scale outside of our universe. (the centre of universes seem always to contain a centre of gravity there, an exploded sun turned blackhole, no more emission of light coming from it, a died sun still having heavy metals as a mass, still having a visible to us gravitational force on its local (solar systems) surroundings, still having mass and regrowing from mass around it until it reaches a critical mass and explosive mixture around it again. All planets can become a sun itself, and a blackhole or exploded suncore after that. All we need is time. i tink space just as earth has atmosperic black fog, the more matter between a light source, or dark matter source.. the more dark fog we see over a distance. on earth there is a blue hazy atmospheric fog. As above so below, but also vice versa.
( the air inside our own atmosphere expands BOTH ways, up as pressure to keep up the atmosphere, but also down on the earth as pressure on the core (the centre of our gravity!) the bigger a planet, the bigger the surface, the more temperature or heat, the more exited atoms are inside an atmosphere the more pressure it generates in both ways depending on the current size of the atmosphere filled with air. Depending on plant life, plankton, time in the evolution or life of the planet, how much time the process has been going in a certain capacity ) exited atoms seek to go back to a lower state of energy, they need room to wiggle, they go up and find space.. Literally to do this, the more pressure up by heat, the more light gets interfered coming in, and going back out again.
i think the size is related to its size of its atmosphere which is formed by local temperature, the outward pressure on a separated spaces boundary, the pressure of the total matter contained in a universal atmosphere (sort of a sphere wherein the same properties and lows hold up for nature) . Half a surface reflects light and is responsible for the total local (inside the atmosphere, or dimension) energy in the form of heat, spread out by wind to keep the atmosphere on pressure the same everywhere. the matter dark burnt matter ejected by a sun is the atomic small waste of a chemical reaction, cooled by space, with a visible sort of a half life i the form of its glow surrounding the sun, up until space cools it again.
The light coming into an atmosphere might not go out again because of lack of energy (visible by temperature) and velocity to penetrate the atmosphere twice, because of a thicker atmosphere (barely in, but blocked on the way out, the incoming reflected light being converted to heat locally keeping up the atmospheric boundary, half the exact size of a planet is constantly bombarded by photons generating heat on impact (the excited atoms need more space and heat expands our atmosphere literally), all this heat must maintain the size of the local atmosphere (a hot air balloon like atmosphere). The incoming pressure of space around an atmosphere forming gravity ( a balance between the push from both sides, an equilibrium by two forces), the force that pushes us back to the centre of earth, combined with the force of heat going up (planet is round so we all have an up directly to space above our heads).
Einstein had thought of a gravity well, if we place two of these wells on top of each other we have an roundish atmosphere where in all falls back to a planets centre of gravity, the core on which all pressure lies. Does this mean he described a atmosphere? Where in light can exist? But sometimes not make it out for a variety of reasons? The surface of a planet generates heat that goes up to a thermosphere (HOT) to cool itself, the hotter the edge of the atmosphere, the more movement of atoms, the bigger the chance a photon will hit an atom (air or oxygen in case of earth)) earth act just like a lightbulb, a balloon filled with gas in its own dimension or separated sphere. We get matter from the sun and are showered with it, this started the movement of our planet, and the pull of the suns mass keeps our mass in its orbit. So a push and a pull working together as the effect we call gravity. (another reason for a black hole without the terrible complicated fabricated explanations.. Is a nuclear winter... Or volcanic activity blocking sunlight, its always particles, exited by temperature in an atmosphere so hot and emitting frequencies locally.
We don't need all of those incredible complex theories to explain them if we thought... Hey... blackhole... a Non light emitting light absorbing black dark body ( real dark earth is pertty light absorbing, the finer it gets)... All of this mass could i add this to the dark matter equation? As above so below, once we explain dark matter (unlit but there trust me) being every where smeared out but not exited enough, space is to cold, it has to low of a starting temperature often to be exited enough to start radiating locally. On earth the atoms are much more easily "touched" by light. Space itself can not emit a real burn like on earth it is just to cold, only in the vicinity of the sun does it happen, over there, local to the sun, at the end of a solar flare, at the end of its glow in space ( it just literally cools off under light emitting temperatures, only waves are allowed move thru space for longer distances), the photon becomes invisible until it touches us (like a laser and becomes visible on interruption of the matter beam), an atmosphere is a lights speed limiting entity in itself.
We can't measure the speed of directly incoming photons, we need to be on the side to take multiple measurements, but we are always in direct contact around the sun, it shines Omni directional. And all of our measurements on lights speed are done on earth, inside an atmospheric pressure. Even if we shoot a signal to the moon we shoot it partly from within earths velocity limiting by friction atmosphere, even for signals. It also comes back and must penetrate the atmosphere again a second time. We never measured in space between points directly over a super long distance i guess. We can only see light being bent physically. Photons must have mass in order for the planets gravitational pull to have an effect on it. This or an atmosphere that bends light must be present doing it.
Photons are so fast, the time they transfer their tiny little energy on a surface like our skin, we don't even realise we felt it was happening, as it has already happened by the time we could think, and is a photon not smaller than a nerve ending? i don't think we can actually feel a single photon (smaller than a needle pin) and realise it is hot? It happens so fast it can not give off a lot off heat on the skin. In the eye there are color cones, light sensitive color cones so no room for feeling nerve ends in the same space. Our eyes do not feel the single photons, they translate intensities into color, color in the sky is like seeing a common temperature of matter. Black is cold, dark blue a little warmer, a little more exited locally.... Here around us....
If a planet doesn't light up, it doesn't have a atmosphere or it has one but it can't let light back out, or the light can't travel for ever and comes to a halt in space, no velocity, no temperature to light up, becoming dark space itself. We don't find any loose hanging or floating single photons in space right, the extinguish into particles, dark matter, no oxygen to sustain a flame or burn and matter that does not emit, or tell of its existence by eye.
The universe is only an illusion until we learn how the illusion works.

how do we know the earth is moving?

    • @ajjay702
      @ajjay702 8 років тому +3

Hi Jeff, this is a really really good question. To answer, we do have to agree on a few points of observation first, observations that both you and I can make. Point one that I think we can agree on: If you and I go out on a starry night, we can see the stars seemingly move across the sky. Point two: all of the stars stay fixed relative to one another., at least this is what it seems like to the naked eye. We can look at the relative position of star 1 and star 2 on any given night, and they will hold those positions the following night, the following week, the following year etc. If we can agree on these two assumptions, then we can ask, what causes the stars to move across the sky. There are three possibilities here: 1) The earth is rotating. The stars are all so far away that they seem to not move relative to one another. Well, the closest star to our Sun is alpha centauri, which is 4.3 light years away (25 trillion miles (40 trillion km)), and there are 100 Billion Stars in the Milky Way alone. They are so far away that the look like they are on a fixed plane, but we know they are not. We can pinpoint the distance to distant stars and they are all very different. Based on this logic, we can assume that the earth is rotating. To further support this evidence, we can actually watch the earth rotate from space: we can launch a rocket, turn back and watch the earth rotate. The earth bulges from the middle, as would be expected from a rotating object, and the distinct Coriolis effect on our Northern and Southern Hemispheres are a result of a rotating planet.
      2) all stars are the same distance away from us on a sphere, and that sphere is moving. This would be like having a fixed earth inside a balloon and the stars were all on the surface of the balloon, rotating at the same speed. We have lots of data that show that the stars are not at the same distance away from earth, so this possibility is ruled out. 3) All of the stars are NOT at the same distance away, but are still moving around the earth. For this to be the case, than the stars further away from earth would need to be moving at much greater speeds than ones closer, and every single star would have to coordinate its speed so that they never move relative to each other. If we just look at the stars in the Milky Way that can be seen by the human eye (without long exposure cameras or telescopes), this would be around 5k-10k. For us to see the same stars move across the sky without changing their positions relative to one another, this would mean that those 5k-10k stars are all moving at speeds proportional to their distance from earth. There are no physical laws that would govern such movement, given how small earth is and its position within the Milky Way, this would negate everything we know about gravity, and would require that the earth have some control in this motion. There is a *chance* this could work out by chance, but the probability of this is so small and does not fit with the actual data we have collected, so we can rule this possibility out.

+DrThrashenstein well... first off you need to be in a very high orbit in order to get the whole planet in visual frame.(Earth is quite massive)
Such a high orbit would be very far away so maintenance onthe camera will be impossible.(Remember that space is a very radioactive environment without our protective atmosphere)
Finally there is no need for a 24/7 live stream of Earth in one frame. We have tons of photos and the ISS live stream.

Lol i see you worked hard to make it look like the earth is moving except there's one problem with that. The stars didn't really move... we literally saw no patterns. Nice fish eye though lol

@@2bh most would consider you stupid but I don't think it's your fault. You were force fed this bs since you were a kid I don't expect any better from you buddy especially when your debate starts with an insult. Gain some intelligence and come up with a more educated argument. You can't believe everything you see on the internet bud. Lol and you asked if I was stupid. 🤣🤣🤣. The earth does not rotate period. If it did we would see different star patterns but yet year after year decade after decade Millennia after millennia the same exact star patterns remain. Only someone who isn't completely stupid can figure this out with all the sources of information we have today. Stop wasting your time watching dragon ball z and nasa videos and maybe just maybe you might find the truth. Start with people like admiral Richard Byrd. And Eric dubay. You're welcome

Yeah that's it lol.. it couldn't possible be you have been fooled as we all were and lied to about what exactly is spinning and what is stationary..the person that made the video admitted to using a soft ware that made the stars look still and the earth rotate..scroll down in comments he says it himself that he used a program to do so.. never mind, I will post it for you since evidently you are not the research kind of person, so here it is Alex Rivest5 months ago+Michael Giambra The camera did not track the stars, the camera was fixed, I used software to keep the stars fixed and this the land rotated. First of all, reading someone's comment doesn't qualify as research. Neither does watching UA-cam videos. Again, I can't tell if you're a troll because morons actually believe this is how research works.
That said, there's nothing wrong with that comment. The software keeps the stars stationary in the video frame so it reveals the motion of the foreground, which as it turns out is how the Earth actually moves in relation to the stars.
The only thing wrong here is your appalling lack of reading comprehension. Like, damn. There's no excuse for misinterpreting that, dude.

    • @swmplvr
      @swmplvr 8 років тому +1

hahaha yeah, I am the one with comprehension issue.. it's quite simple.. Had the video maker not used a program to cause the stars to stand still the earth would not be showing itself rotating and the stars would as they do every night.. move over the plain.. just as the sun does, just as the moon does.. but you go ahead and keep believing the earth is chasing the sun through space @483,000 miles per hour ,while rotating at the equator at 1042 mph , never showing any new constellations ever.. If Nasa told you the earth was none rotational and a flat plain, would that convince you ? If the news channels started saying it, would that convince you? What exactly is it that you are hung up on and can't possibly comprehend about this '' planet'' being flat and none rotational?
