Fabulous! I’ve been looking for a pattern like this, it reminds me of a great sweater design from the 1980s! Thanks so much, this will be my late Winter project for Wearing in the Spring! Wonderful.
Thank you Carol, I was also thinking about a sweater that mum had in the 80’s when I designed it 😉 Good luck and don’t forget to share the pics on Instagram or Twitter and tag me (@sowoolly). Cheers, Carolina.
So Woolly it’s fabulous! And this vintage pattern is impossible to find. Let me tell you my story... I’m from Vancouver, BC originally. There was a famous sweater similar to this that was printed in the former Vancouver Sun newspaper that became a massive hit, and now, nobody can find the pattern, or the vintage Diana brand eyelash yarn that it was made from... I’m so excited to try this. ... and wow, your tricks and tips with the details like binding and hemming is beyond! I’m going to learn a lot from this project. Many thanks again.
Thanks for the video on how to knit the batwing sweater. Looking at the written directions, I want to make sure I have the yardage correct to make a size small for this pattern….. it looks like one needs 840 yards of dk weight yarn for this pattern. Is this correct?
an adult cardigan tutorial would be great :)
Coming soon 😉
