I'm in tears 😭😂 I feel every word you said when you were just laying with Halle 😭 you've literally mirrored my experience with my little girl. She'll be 8 months next week and I'm back to work next month. Those first 3 months...wow, I did not know I could break like that 😂 but I cannot believe how the time has flown from that point onwards. I've been soaking up every second with little girl as it's just hit me that we'll never get this time again, on maternity leave, just me and her. The roller coaster of emotions is WILD!!
Halle is gorgeous my second daughter was also tall for her age love the baby clothes you got on vinted beautiful, wish there was these sights when my girls were little all grown up now 😊 now I have beautiful grandchildren xxxx

Happy new year Shan! ❤ I started weaning my little one three weeks ago now and he was SO against purées so I've ended up going down the baby led route more than I thought! 😂 I think it's defo easier the second time round because you know they get there eventually.
Also I always joke with my husband that you start them on veggies but in the end they all end up eating toast and chips 😂

Happy New Year! We did first tastes, fruit and veg steamed and then we were told by health visitors week 1 introduce breakfast like weetabix, week 2 introduce lunch like steamed veg, egg and week 3 introduce dinners. Hope that helps!

I’ve always found Next to be good for my tall girl 💗 s’burys comes up super small for us x
I gave all mine a mixture of things from 5 1/2 -6 months onwards, chilli, spag bol, mash, veggies, fruit, eggs, beans, toast etc. Over time they took more in. I just gave them whatever we had really for dinnner and finger sized foods for lunch or breakfast.

Aw I love this! Soak in all the time you have with Halle 🥰. My baby girl will be 3 months old tomorrow! She’s the opposite to Halle though as she’s a size below her age - she’s only just starting to fit 0-3 month clothes 🙈 xx

I think it would be great if you continue vlogging till the end of the day as the title suggests- day in the life of… that would be interesting for us viewers to see how you manage with both kids home and what is your routine. I know from my experience (I have a 6 mo and a 3 yo) that the part of day looks completely different when I am only with my little one and it’s basically chilling and when my older one comes back from daycare - it’s like pure chaos 😅😅
My eldest is almost 3 and my youngest is 15 months and he is still such a baby compared to what his sister was at the same age, I honestly think it’s a second child thing because with your first they are the only one and can have all your attention so the communication skills are there earlier and you can practice the milestones more whereas the second has to fit in, and can’t always practice the milestones the same amount so they develop at their own rate which is sometimes a lot slower xx
Would love some weaning videos and tips, would be very useful for me as My baby is just a few days younger than Halle x
I always do fruit and veg first… I feel like that’s what I usually have left over. After 7 months I just fed her what we ate!
My baby girl is 9 months, and i love this age as they are so reactive to you, and lots of firsts are coming in, but it’s also the hardest age so far. The sleep regression is in full swing, as well as the separation anxiety and my little one has 6 teeth!! Ohhh parenthood is a journey isn’t it 😂 But it’s the best! 🥰
Separation anxiety is real! My baby girl is 6 1/2 and i cannot leave her sight because she will cry. Not sure if this goes away lol
I would like to get second hand clothes but I'm worried about any bugs with clothes bringing them to my house

HACK : as a fellow long baby mum.. when her clothes have been washed .. whilst they’re still damp .. fold the clothes and pull them … most cotton jersey type material will stretch nicely! Just make sure to stretch them both sides equally from the seams so u don’t have lopsided leggings or tops 😂

52 weeks, but you're eligible for maternity pay for 39 weeks.
