Going back and listening to Time Does Not Heal now that I'm older, I can say I absolutely agree with you. It's an awesome album in it's own right. Not like Metallica's black album, and why I mentioned that is because I felt as if a lot of metal band were going that route at that time period. Testament and their alum The Ritul, Over Kill I Hear Black... I could go on...but back then, being a young male that wanted his music to match his attitude, some releases just didnt cut it. I'm sure you understand what I'm getting at. Now, going back and listening to all those albums, I think that they are amazing....
The one time I saw Dark Angel live was in the mid 80s, the vocalist was sick, or for some reason could not perform that night. The band came out and actually asked if there was anyone there who knew lyrics & could sing! Respectfully, they did their whole set with no vocals. It was terrible, but a great memory of this awesome band! I'm mostly into old school punk & hardcore, but there's a bunch of thrash bands with very unique sounds that I love...Dark Angel being one of the best.
@Steven Anderson .oh ok,thanks.. wasn't much fond of ron..leave scars was good.. however, Don dishing out, "we have arrived',and,"Darkness descends" was the true D.A!
One of the best shows i ever saw was Dark angel with Slayer at the Hollywood Palladium in 1987. Dark Angel was awesome
OH shit! I was there! I was 14 !!! Also I was friends with katon pena of Phantasm/hirax. Then back to New York.

Just as like they were in the 80's.
IMPRESSIVE!
Thanks!!!
I'm surprised by how punchy and clear the bass tone is. It really cuts through the mix and can actually be heard!
It's good to watch the L.A Caffeine Machine playing live one more time! These guys were more intense and agressive than Slayer back in the 90´s.

Leave Scars was a classic masterpiece. I did think Time Does not heal was a very mature jump of creativity from the years of Darkness Decends
