Dark Angel - Darkness Descends (Live In Athens / Greece, July 11 - 2023)

Live at Gagarin 205, Athens / Greece, July 11 - 2023.
For the first time in history Dark Angel finally came to Athens/Greece performing the entire "Darkness Descends" album, among others. The band played just like in their youth and the atmosphere was at its absolute peak.
All music can be good depending on the moment, soft melodies, catchy grooves with a clinical sound or whatever, and that's ok. But the industry seems to be desperately trying to change a genre that at its core has more aggressive elements just in the name of "contrast". Well, "opposite" and "different" doesn't necessarily mean "good". Metal should remain extreme and crushing! When someone asked me "Why does metal have to be extreme?" Because DARK ANGEL!!!! That's why!

First saw them in San Francisco, Ca at The Stone on Broadway in 1987 when I was 16 one of the best shows I ever saw in my whole life! Yes, LEGENDS!

I am thinking they should've brought Don Doty on tour with them to sing these songs but Ron does do them justice as he has over the years! Great video and thanks!

Εκπληκτικό live δεν έχω λόγια!!! Μπαντάρα!!! Πώς πέρασαν τα χρόνια από τότε που άκουσα πρώτη φορά το Darkness Descends.. Ήταν το 1989 κ είχε βγει το 86.. Αξέχαστες αναμνήσεις..
