Before even watching this video, I knew this feeling. I was traveling in Thailand in 2018 when I came across a group of fellow travelers in the Krabi province. We were from so many different countries, and had so many different backgrounds, and had so many different personalities... We looked different, were of different ages, and had different beliefs. But when we spent a night under the stars, around a fire, laughing with strangers... I looked at them and felt that I was looking at myself. I caught the eye of an older Dutch woman in the circle, and in silence knew that she was thinking the same... I felt connection, love, and understanding. There was no judgement, no shame, and absolutely no trace of animosity. The pinnacle of humanness.
The craziest part? I was sober!
I spent some time in India. Was fortunate enough to be there for Diwali. Learned a lot. This short story brings me to tears each time I watch it. Every time I hurt someone, I hurt myself. Every time I am kind to someone, I am kind to myself. Words to live by.

I feel like since the being has ascended to infinite knowledge, then happiness or love are just human made concepts in a way. And maybe it’s the best most comfortable way to be perceived in the eyes of a human who’s transitioning to its next life. I feel like whatever or wherever the being came from is above all human emotion or whatever and depending on what life the soul has just come out of, the being just mirrors a perfect Unique experience for each life that has been lived. Since when it died all it remembers is that one life until they go into the next. And since time doesn’t exist in its universe, each explanation is probably all happening at the same time in a way. That would be hard to understand or explain because our human brains see and feel time differently and simply can’t comprehend other dimensions exactly but yeah I hope that makes sense? Idk but I feel like whenever our soul is done cooking then we will be an exact copy or something of that nature to the being who is helping us grow. We will eventually ascend to have that amount of love and patience and power for the small pieces of the “child soul” we will grow too. And understand it in a whole other way.

I also believe that 2000 years ago it was a very smart thing to simplify the universe by saying the “only way to heaven is through Jesus.” We now know enough about the fundamentals of evolution to know that life could possibly exist on at least one other planet someplace. It is UNFAIR to those living beings to deny them access to heaven just cuz they havent heard about our Earth Jesus. Accepting Jesus into ur heart is an excellent way to aim for heaven, but to say its the *only* way in 2020+ is arrogant and thoughtless

The fascinating thing is that these beings get their individuality from how their worlds developed, and them having individuality means there is a possibility of arguing for a double egg theory in which once these beings hatch from their egg they create a new egg where the world develops differently so they can understand how exactly the general trend of the world has influenced their personality.
Alternatively, there is only one being in the universe and any individual is just that same being in different stages of their development since time doesn't appear to be linear for them. The parent that appears in the short is simply a hatched iteration of the individual that will eventually fuse together with the rest, endlessly widening it's perspective.

This might be my favorite video from Kurzgesagt. I can't believe it has been 4 years... I will soon go to college, and the first time I saw this video I wasn't even in high school. Time passes by fast, but we all have to do our best in life so we don't regret it. My grandpa told me something before he died, "Live your life to the fullest, take all the opportunities you encounter because you might not see them again. And, most importantly, live a life you'll never forget." This struck me to my core and made me realize life has downs and ups. Stop complaining about your problems, and take action.
