I really love these videos, mostly when the camera is on your head. I've always wanted to be an airline pilot since 6 years old but had to give up recently...just one question, do you shut down the plane completely before leaving it or do you let the IRS and power on? Enjoy your magnificent job!
If they are leaving the plane to sit over night, they shut everything down.. IRS aligns in about 8 mins on average, so plenty of time to do other things while preparing for first flight of the day..
@@smash_1389 yeah indeed it's 7 or 8 minutes but you don't need to align it to shut down. However I don't know if they can let the plane powered up for other pilots if they come right after him
I meant to align it on first flight in the morning. For crew change, yeah I think they will leave it like in turnaround state, if other crew continues right after.. I don't see why not..

I loved that early morning takeoff the sun had not yet come up so the cockpit and the ground below was beautifully lit up. Then you surprise us with a fabulous tour of the city and I have to agree with you that hotel looked to be in a beautiful location and seemed so quiet and peaceful that you just somehow knew you would have a good restful nights sleep there. What a fabulous video Captain.
