So smart what NPT did pivoting off Godrick to do Milicent. He knew Aggy rushed NPCs and that Aggy saw him check parry only Margit, so Aggy would probably give up the hitless/dagger only remembrance thinking that he wouldnt have priority on it. That gave NPT a chance to get setup and get a square - then immediately pivot back to Godrick once Aggy saw him click the 2nd square knowing that Aggy probably didn't have the stormveil grace.

Hey Aggy. It would be super helpful if you could somehow designate which square(s) you’re currently working on. With another color, a symbol, something. Because it can be really hard to follow what your current strategy or objective is. It’s easy to miss. I think that would help everyone 😊
the tricky thing is a lot of the time he has his hands in multiple pies at once, kind of leaning towards options and making them more possible without fully committing to them yet
@@AndrewBrownK yeah I know, it’s probably tricky. I don’t have an easy answer either. I just sometimes find it hard to follow what his current plan of action is. This video he was better at saying it though. I also wish I could see his opponents POV

Is NPT stream sniping? That's a bit too much to be coincidence.
No Aggy would have followed the same path if he didn’t waste time on the NPCs. He should have focused on setting up for the more valuable plays early instead of delaying just to pickoff an easy square with no synergy.
By the time aggy finished 3 friendly NPC NPT was on margit and finished a bit later, I don't know what weapon NPT had, but if aggy assumption about him having star fist or reduvias was right, he should've probably pivoted to going for Millicent and Oneil since it would've been a 2 for 2 trade since he was already behind on margit. Which can also be followed by falling star beast. It sucks giving away 2 square on the same line, but I feel like it would have been fine at the time since the board is pretty late game. Aggy's decision to go for godrick felt a bit unusual, I feel like he usually gives up priority for the remembrance squares to do the 2nd one that's left. He got hard snipped on those squares and that really messed up his game flow. At that point I felt he had no priority on any of the other fast squares.
@@danh5368actually the friendly npc play was totally fine. Where he fumbled was going for dectus half when he could have been going for Millicent and O’Niel.
8 months late, but Nah, he was just metagaming hard.
@@courygaffney4408 7 Months late but: That wasn't even the biggest issue. Going for Nights Cav cheese then abandoning it after one attempt to then pivot into dectus was where he really screwed up. Being indecisive is fatal. And he spent the entire time basically doing a bunch of stuff without progressing towards either a specific objective or a character power increase. Either's good. Neither is terrible.
Also once NPT got millicent he should have gone straight to Altus right then and there, going for either the remembrance or the O'Niel then risked being in a race with NPT and thats bad strategy if you can avoid it. Altus would have put him on somthing NPT absolutely cannot be doing yet with a clear lead on the objectives there. Work that into flasks, into 6 bosses and Rykards rune with the bell bearings picked up.
I'm at the Bow only fight in the video atm and whilst he has gone Altus eventually, he's clearly been sniping NPT, which means he's been close to losing those squares to him which you never want.
I think NPT is stream sniping, I know I will get alot of hate for this but honestly this is too much to be mind games and such.
HELL he literally only fumbled after aggy jokingly acused him of stream sniping.
Being known as the best or one of the best at something is one of the best ways to get you far in the youtube/twitch scene.
So beating one of the best (Aggy) would sure guarantee that. Remember how far Dream got after being the world record holder in minecraft? and then found to be cheating?

The first half hour wouldn’t have been effected even if he WAS stream sniping.
Immediately pivoting from 4 Margit parries into Millicent was a smart thing to do, because Aggy wouldn’t be as likely to go for the hitless/fists only. Then pivoting back to Godrick knowing he had a lead for the two remembrance squares was also smart and obvious. He started O’Niel before aggy did which… doesn’t require stream sniping.
All of his plays were logical and didn’t involve stream sniping. Aggy also spent time getting the Dectus half when he could have been doing Millicent or O’Niel. Not sus at all

@@thefrogsheart7670The weird thing is, NPT made calculated plays that made sense & Aggy walked into the traps NPT set, every time.
He pivoted off Godrick because he knew that Aggy would see that he had the advantage and not try to race it. This is a common thing players (including Aggy) do all the time. It's the reason people will sometimes kill Godrick but then sit on the "Restore Godrick's Great Rune" square for half the game - they figure the other player will ignore that square since they're at a disadvantage. Since simply killing Godrick isn't that slow and has other synergies though, NPT didn't want to sit on it too long, so he only got 1 other square first. This is simply good strategy.
Beyond that, the only actual "coincidences" are that he happened to get Millicent and O'Niell specifically and in the same order as Aggy. But those were two obviously fast squares so it's pretty typical for anyone to go for them, so really the ONLY coincidence is that he did them in that order and not the reverse. That's not exactly sus levels of coincidence, it's a 50/50. And the reason he got there first for each one is because Aggy was doing other shit like Dectus, plus NPT is just an insanely fast player.
