- FIRST LOOK: We finally tracked down the Cybertruck which is all new for 2024. On the outside you will find it's unique shaped stainless steel body, 20in wheels and power bedcover. On the inside you will be greeted by a minimalistic interior with a large infotainment screen. Powering the Cybertruck are (2) electric motors producing 60oHP.

Right now I'm at the 2024 Chicago International Auto Show for the 2-day press event. I'm shooting reviews for the Vehicle Visionary UA-cam channel. While I was working on a video this morning I saw Mr. Raiti walking by and I stopped him, introduced myself and asked him to take a picture with me.
He was SO gracious and polite to me and took the picture, and even though I was interrupting him he took the time to chat with me for a couple minutes. He's a gentleman for sure

You could plug in an oven and electric grill to that NEMA 15-40R 240V electrical outlet in the bed, if you want! Refrigerator/freezers too, no problem. Great trend in EV trucks, those electrical outlets. Ramcharger will have best of both worlds with the Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine, too.

They always start out high price cause tesla is trying to make profits not lose money and manufacturing always starts out more expensive until production ramps up. It's a good start for an ev truck and I'm sure many improvement are coming over the next couple years. The drive by wire is the best part of it. Hope you get to test drive one and take it offroad. I've seen a few of them on Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Even saw one in a pink wrap, think it was promotion of sorts, had lots of logos.
I saw one on the streets the first week it started delivering. The Cybertruck is one vehicle I love to look at, but would never want to own.

Fun facts: *the inner door and frunk structures are both made from stamped stainless steel. *the sound system is INCREDIBLE. *the Cybertruck has zero emblems or badges on the exterior.
I saw two of these out in California, one wrapped in matte black and another in matte green and matte black. It looked incredible. Hope one day Tesla will offer at the very least a black cybertruck.
That will be interesting to see what Elon decides!
Tbh the wraps are the only way I'd ever own one... there's no clear coat on the stainless steel, it's notoriously bad at resisting oils and bird droppings.

Please review some military vehicles like a MRAP or HUMVEE.
I can't believe 600+ horsepower is even street legal. It's an insane amount of power on that truck.
No gearbox, need a lot of hp to get both high torque and good top speed with a single speed transmission.
The ford raptor has 700 horsepower , the ram 1500 has 540 horsepower hell even a dam ford ranger is pushing almost 500 horsepower now 🤣it’s not uncommon dude you living in the 1970s still 😂

Something I noticed about the Cyber Truck at the show that no one has mentioned, or noticed, is that when sitting in the back seats that tonneau cover sounds like a train on railroad tracks as it was rolling itself in.
Can't wait for the full review!

The folks at throttle house, Thomas and James, were not fans of it. They completed a thorough review and even drove it for a thousands miles - visibility is extremely poor, the interior lacks quality and has numerous rattles and creeks. The ride quality is also terrible. Moreover, the sharp edges raise safety concerns. Not surprising. It is a Tesla.

So I’m not hating on Tesla but personally I’m not a fan of their cars only for the fact that if you try to fix your car, no shop or mechanic is going to know what they’re doing same goes with the cyber truck. I love the way it looks exterior/ interior but my issue is finding a shop where I live that even services for electric cars

I wouldn’t be caught dead in that thing. Also, as with all Teslas, the interior leaves MUCH to be desired. Mercedes and Audi EVs have significantly better interiors. Tesla is overrated.
I definitely wanted one at the 60k original price when it was announced. For now I’ll stick wit my Hellcat & c8.

I would worry about rust issues. Driving on salt roads for a couple of months each year can't be good for the truck.
I’m in the Cybertruck side. I think Cybertruck attracts new buyers , like me. New truck / pick-up buyers that traditional Truck design did not manage to get or capture.

I have to zonk Tesla for moving away from parking sensors. I would choose parking sensors over a camera if I could only have one.
