I bought this rubbish alarm. I installed it on my toyota hiace. Everytime i open the side door and tail gate door the stupid thing re-arms itself. I rang steel mate and they said the only way to not make it re-arm is by pressing the brakes. Are you kidding me. Save yourself a headache. Dont buy this alarm. Especially if your a tradie very frustrating.
+alexgringo5000 Hey buddy, I just installed one of these on my hiace and it works a treat. Just hook up the alarms boot switch wire to the storage compartment lighting circuit (its separate to the cabin light circuit for the door switches). This makes the unit think the boot was opened so it won't arm again if you open the sliding door / tailgate.
