Hello, in this video I show you how to disarm an alarm especially on an older vehicle. This will disable the alarm. Quick and easy! How to turn off car alarm. This technique is especially made for viper car alarms. If you’re having car alarm issues are trying to figure out how to turn off your car alarm that should work with Toyota, honda, Hyundai, Ford, Chevy.

I seen a very elderly gentleman having issues with his car in the Walmart parking lot. His alarm kept going off and he was underneath the hood of his car connecting and disconnecting his battery terminals as everyone stared. I could see he was clearly visibly confused. I asked if he needed any help and he smiled as if to say thanks someone cared. We tried everything except for a jump. So I thought hey everything is on UA-cam these days has to be a solution. No. The battery has enough juice to blink that LED for 30~50 years.
Dude… I literally had my cad stuck in pannick mode and the aftermarket auto start would turn on. This fixed it. My neighbors love you
Just had same issue with wife's 1994 Mazda 323 . Replaced dead battery but on firing up the alarm wouldn't go off . Disconnected battery , checked out "Check it Out!!!" , followed your instructions and alarm reset . Problem solved ! Thank you so much from the UK . Liking and subbing is the least I could do .

Thanks for this video. It helped out alot. It was a pain in the ass finding the button. The last person who owned my car had the button hangin off a wire literarily right next to the alarm box. Only found it when I attempted to disconnect the alarm box under the dash.

Good evening sir. I have a similar problem. My CHEVY Spark (2015) had a recalled Transmission. When the work was done I had no radio, and the radio screen was BLACK. Also I had no active alarm. It was suggested that I (test) then disconnect the battery . It died so I bought a new one. Then once the battery was in the car alarm came back . . . . problem is it goes off randomly at ALL HOURS OF THE DAY & NIGHT !! I spotted the button in my Chevy Spark near the drivers door close to the floor. But it has a small red button with a flat spot to the left and right sides of the button that look almost as if I am suppose to put my key in it. Almost like the ignition . I pushed it after trying a number of key turns in the ignition, but nothing. Can you help me out. I have problem starting my car but when I turn her off she sounds the alarm within minutes, hours or days. Please, please help. Thank you so much for your video and kind solutions. I just had this issue and if you’re from a completely dead battery you have to hold the light/button as you crank the vehicle to get the engine running

I have a 97 nissan maxima gle, how do I disable the alarm flashing and it's killing my battery I done disable the horn but the flashing will not stop...any advice??

I tried that and it didn't work.I had to just unplug the battery because it just keep going off.I even got a new battery,but the still the same outcome.Luckily it's a back up vehicle.

Does is disarm it or disable it? Because there’s a difference when trying to replace a key fob cuz it’s it disables it I need to re set it so it’s only disarmed not disabled

It didn't work. I have a 2003 Honda Element that has that button. When you say you turned the key twice. Do you mean you turn it two positions or you literally turn it all the way once then back then turn it again?
Two positions. If you have that button, it should work. Try keeping the button held in the whole time that you are turning the key. Let me know how it goes.

So what do you do to turn the alarm back on after you turned it off? I have tried to get my viper alarm to turn back on but I can't figure out how to do it and I even looked it up.

How do you turn it off with the remote? I can’t find a switch anywhere.. not below or on the antenna... yesterday the alarm went off and I tried starting the car and it wouldn’t work and the alarm kept going and going. I pressed the red button on the bottom of the remote , it started the car, but I’m not sure if that’s the only way to stop it by the remote? Or even if that is the correct way to stop it.... don’t want to look like a fool again when the alarm goes on and on for 5 minutes.

I just tried this on my 2010 Ford Transit Connect and it didn't turn the alarm off. Mine runs so far but the horn blows and so does the siren.
It still works 2021.
For Hyundai Matrix or Lavita, theres no such button to deactivate the alarm. Ive search everywhere but found nothing.

I have a 99 Honda Civic recently my alarm horn does not go off when I lock it with the pager but I did notice that the red light does not flash but it just stay on when I lock it any help anyone I tried to reset that bottom button at the bottom like you did nothing

Repeating the steps will reactive the alarm. Close doors, using the key, turn ignition to ”ON”, hold switch for a few seconds. Alarm LED should light up and it may be accompanied by a chirp.
