JD I learned so much about my wife submitting. It was me that needed to submit to Christ and be a servant that she could trust and care more about her than her caring about my needs. I Wish, oh how I wish I'd learned that sooner. But God uses many things in our mistakes to make us men and women after His own heart. Thank you for your verse by verse teaching of God's Word. It will always bear fruit. 🙌❤️🙏☝️🇮🇱🎇❤️
I understand, but I hope you won't allow a root of bitterness to grow in your heart over this sad lack of understanding on the part of immature believers. Two spirits trying to go through life is a mark for the enemy. We have a hard enough time just living with ourselves. But the Lord is so awesomely patient, though I've seen a lot of ignorance in the guise of meet my needs and that 50% on each will make 100%, instead of giving 100 and not looking for a return because you love someone. So often it's learned too late. But now days I kind of think there's not much time left except to be brothers and sisters in Christ. But God doesn't go by my timetable. That took me a while to learn too. 🙌

I wish pastor J D would address domestic violence and marriages where one of the 2 is not a Christian. The church seems to have its head in the sand about these issues because I never hear them addressed in the church.

We just went through this with our pastor,and most of the time Paul was writing letters to the churches back than,in Tim. the woman were wearing costly apparel and being in charge of things,i think they were worshiping the god Diana back than! Paul was addressing this letter to Timothy!
The real problem I see happens when one or both are spiritually living in disobedience to what God intends. There has to be forgiveness and truth in discussions between husband and wife, otherwise impossible,, The answer is at 31 min of the talk where both husband and wife need the Holy Spirit's work. Its a Spirit filled husband and wife to make this possible.
Actually - the Codex Sinaticus upon which the Textus Receptus was taken - from which we get the KJV of the Bible, does not read "Wives submit unto your husbands as unto the Lord." But "Wives exactly as your husbands." Period. This at a time when a woman had less value than a man's horse, Paul was calling women forward to bear the same spiritual responsibility that their husbands did - because they were equal.. Prior to that, the men alone were held responsible for all things and women had no voice - but Paul was giving women a voice and calling women out of the shadows to share that spiritual responsibility with their husbands. "The same as,' or 'identical' - the Greek word with English characters is 'ithios."
men r told to love their wives & perfect love cast out fear bc fear has to do w/ punishment. when a man truly loves his wife..women r responders..& will usually not mind to submit. this is my experience. no one wants dominance. Even Jesus gives us free will. w/out it love is meaningless. Once a man abuses his role...it is very difficult to trust him. we need to trust you to submitt to you.
Oh pastor, where were you when i faced all the bad parts of wife submission to a domineering, bullying, verbally, mentally, spiritually, physically, financially and emotionally abusive man-wanna-be for 20 horrific years? So one-sided---his side, unilaterally done without my input or influence, most certainly without God's direction, despite this man saying he was "Christian" , I must have been made from his foot, because it was that part that constantly crunched down on my neck, especially if I resisted or called him out for being wrong in God's sight. How many times I was shot down from my post as the warning sentry on the wall seeing chaos, destruction and invaders attacking our marriage or family. If I had known then what I am learning now. Oh, that you had been there in my past to teach the churches and pastors and counselors what you are teaching in this video now. To teach him, my ex. Too many churches label and judge us , but promote women staying in and even punish those who would leave abusive marriages behind to learn about how Christ really meant for marriage to be, to stop the violence to them and their children. I am so glad that being the bride of Christ means I will be treated kindly, fairly and considerately and lovingly---something I never had, but tried to teach my children that "that is the way it should be'. I have said to others considering marriage that there are worse things than being single; being shackled to the ankle of a satan is one of them. I am healing, each day now, but with the power and love of a real 'husband', the LORD---the one who thought I was worth sacrificing for and protecting and providing for. Thanks for listening. I don't normally respond to on-line videos, but felt the need to today. Maybe this can help other women, churches, pastors and counselors.

This such an outstanding teaching, I have been married 40 years and I am no angel, but instead of my husband. Underlining these scriptures in the Bible,as for me to submit to him. I wish he had submitted to the Lord first. He tried hiding his drinking and porn problem and still does. So I will continue to pray for him and let God take care of the rest. He is very stubborn, 3 DUI’s and horrible health later, it is extremely hard to see.😭
