Interesting "special sauce" - could work well in a parallel bus and I like what it's doing to the guitars here. The low-end sounds mushy here, but the highs are pretty nice. Q: Is that SPL's LC EQ hi-shelf nearly as 'sweet' as the Kush's Clarity control, particularly on cymbals and vocals?
the drive is just actually the input level going in to the unit that's why increasing it triggers the compression more. i thought it was a saturator as well when i first tried it! either way it's a magical unit!!!
I love SPL gear. Always seems like their gear is bulletproof.
I have it,Spl products are fantastic
Followed and subscribed.
Are you playing the drums as well ? I love the way that song sounds at the beginning, it kinda inspired me to come up with something, thank you !

the bass knob does nothing when process is set to zero.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm looking to purchase the most up to date model
How does the vitalizer compared to the clariphonic? I know it's a different design, but soundwise, which one you like it better?
If you had to pick would it be the tc finalize or the SPL?

The drive mostly affects the bass/mid-hi tune EQ curve, the compression doesn't kick in until it hits a certain ratio
Last thing I expected for a nerdy hardware review was to land on a women, so cool !
Desert island question. You can only have 2 pieces of gear to master with on an island. Which 2?
Could do a lot worse than Stam's Stereo+ Pultecs and a pair of Fairchilds, I suppose. There are dozens of great combos.
