- Check it out, I bought this good, slightly used 44" Swisher cutter and now I can quickly pull it behind my Polaris Sportsman 570, 4-wheeler to trim and maintain my trails. Let's take a leisurely trip down the trails keeping them cut and cleared.

what a joke. The reason is was for sale after so little use is because it is worthless. Save your money and put it toward a better tractor with a better mowing deck. The maintenance and lack of info on how to repair a swisher is not worth your time and effort.
Lol is a tractor with a brush hog better than this…yes of course it is. I have one of these that is 14 years old that I’ve used on multiple pieces of property clearing horrible brush and also hay. If you need instructions on repair look up the operators manual they have a full part schematic. These are literally the easiest pieces of equipment to work on. 6 bolts removes the back plate to replace the belt, another 6 removes the entire plate supporting the motor mount. The main spindle and bearing are incredibly easy to change out and will last a very long time. The worst thing about the machine is it is heavy, you do need to watch the swivel points on the arm going to the hitch (I just welded mine solid no point in kicking the machine over to the side) I’ve called their customer service twice (I ran over my PTO counsel) and they were extremely helpful with ordering parts.
Used swisher = $2k. Used 25hp tractor with mower = $10-15k.
But i wouldnt mine one of these pull behinds either
Swing it out to the side and cut something bigger. those little ferns were a joke for it.
