    I love your energy and warmth. I've coached for nearly 9 years now and one thing that stands out from what you shared initially about the healthcare industry and women having negative experiences. You use the word "fix" and also that you help them learn to love themselves. This is not the role of a coach. We are there to walk beside our clients and support them in finding what matters most to them and the outcome is entirely up to them. Just mentioning this for those who are just starting out in coaching. That said, I loved watching this coaching session and the seamless flow as you transitioned from providing information to getting to the heart of what this clients needs and wants for herself. Motivational Interviewing at its finest!

    Thank you for sharing! It reminds me a bit of Exceptional Student Education K-12 Behavioral Goal Setting. I am more confident about going into this field due to this video.

    I appreciate this because I cant find anything else online or on youtube that is not about “becoming” a health and wellness coach.
    Id like to find some tips and information on the process before I devote my finances to it.
    I need to be able to know what im looking for.
    I am a single parent who has taken care of my son solely for his entire life, I know this will be a treat for me and a key to a happier more balanced life.
    Basically every dollar that I spend is taking from something I could be spending for my son.
    I know it will be worth it though because if I am successful healthy and well. I’ll be able to better take care of him and reflect that for him to prepare in life
    I did a dance workout on youtube this evening because I was restless after getting chores done;
    It really awoken me to see the relationship I now have with physical activity aside from work. I use to be skipping down the block and any chance I got I would dance.
    Now im almost scared to because it feels like im living in a completely different body
    Maybe I need to accept who I am now in order to become who I will be. Instead of refusing myself and keeping who I was, and trying to force myself into the old me again(?)
    I think I just had an epiphany.

    Very informative video for health coaches. Great demonstration of the process. Shows true coaching takes time and patience and being present with the client.

    Honestly I would be exhausted after a session like this. As a coach and client. Question after question. I think you can streamline the sessions in a way that doesn’t present as endless questions.

    Wow, what fantastic coaching!
    I do have a question. I don’t have 90 minute long sessions - if you only have 30 minute sessions how would you break that out?

    • @joannemonique9039
      @joannemonique9039 Рік тому +1

      Talk fast and get clear on extremely relevant powerful focussed questions . “The heart of laser focussed coaching” is a great read.
      If the coachee is a slow talker and likes time to think about their answers this may be a challenge for them and not work so well. You don’t want to rush the client.

    Why is this lady LAUGHING so often on serious questions too. It's so irritating in an otherwise excellent coaching session

    • @greenlantern3714
      @greenlantern3714 2 роки тому +12

      She is laughing because she is excited, on sharing, discovering and highlighting about her personal intimate self, which is why it goes deeper(holistic:interaction, family, work )then Nutrition and fitness only approach. Having trust to eachother is also part of the coach client relationship/partnership.

      As someone who is ND, I do this. A lot. Communication is hard and I often laugh when nervous. You're going to have to accept many patients may be in similar situations for a plethora of reasons. Either that, or it may not be your best fit.
