I first heard "SONG OF GOOD HOPE" just before my wife was diagnosed with cancer. That song kept me going. It's almost eerie how his new material seems to express the many things that I could never figure out how to talk about, myself. "HER MERCY" has brought tears to my eyes more times that I should admit. "PAYING MY WAY" is a quiet anthem for all of us who are doing just that! Right on, Mr Hansard!!!
I saw Once and was captured. Some of your song's remind me of the son's that are in the underworld, they are lost right now. A couple of songs seam like a prayer and truly touched my heart. Keep praying!
watch his movie.. once its called.. very simple British movie but you cannot take your eyes off it.. his music and the movie is captivating.. like his music the film hits the soul..
