I gotta admit this project has gone way to geeky for me. I really loved the body work and painting stuff more than this battery stuff. Tim, will you prove you're not biased and convert another vintage hotrod to run on a hydrogen fuel cell next? Or maybe down the road you'll do one that runs on ammonia.
I question the reason to design it such that the high voltage connections will be the first to get hit with road debris/ collision if the front bumper doesn't block it. Must be because there would be so many other compromises if they had designed it differently?
for the last (6) month's I wondered what happened to the Vik (Tim Allen's baby)? Looks like Vik is headed back to Bodie - that's cool; since I know nothing about BEV's
Too many layers of apparently contradicting CONTROLS... AND NON-INTUITIVE DESIGN... LOCATIONS OF JUNCTION BLOCK AT FRONT BUMPER IS ACCIDENT ZONE #1... LOL IS DESIGNER THE INSTALLER..? Goofy
Tough room. Everybody’s a critic. Storytelling has a beginning, middle and end. Each episode could have been constructed with that in mind but The Vik are 235 videos (so far) of “middle.” This is not a criticism of Tim Allen. He is the GOAT.
Ya don't need a driver's license to own that car. No, you need an electrical engineering certificate. Poor Brodie. I can hear him thinking, "God I'll be glad when this pile of shit is done and out of my shop." Never again, eh Brodie. Me neither. When it gets this dangerous and complicated, it's just no fun anymore. I still hope Tim enters it for the Ridler Award though because it deserves recognition.
Tim Allen. Hes a real one. One of the few.
Never sold his soul to the woke cult masters. Mad respect!
One of the very few with a conscience
Watching Home Improvement again. What a great show!
"If anything goes wrong it will drive itself back to you guys" LOL. 😆
"Your door is ajar"! Commie Baastarrds! Classic!

You get the feeling Tim's a bit scared of this car.
It would be awesome to be part of this!
It’s getting so close to the finish. I’ve been watching this from the beginning , will miss it when it’s over
This is a level 2 charge, don't go to a supercharging station and expect this to work... Tim: 😐
I noticed that too. With the price tag on this build I would expect supercharging support.
Great to see the progress and the episodes coming regular again. Thank you 👍
Tim's just funny by default.
High voltage!!! Is that the new More Power!!!?? Love ya Tim!😊
Clear as mud 😂
Sweet looking car but give me a small blpck chevy, ford or mopar in it
Vick is progressing nicely
That car will never get finished.
You know the one type of vehicle that you won’t find in his collection? A Rat rod.

This all sounds so complicated.
Your door is ajar, No my door is a door not a jar, im not storing food here!!!!
The more I see the inner workings of EVs; the more it confirms the fact that EV's are just not worth the effort.
Why yes they are! This is a complicated one-off
Tim Allen and Jay Leno Garage A Blessing Ceriously
Tim Allen has too much money. Also I wouldn’t park this thing inside overnight.
for the last (6) month's I wondered what happened to the Vik (Tim Allen's baby)? Looks like Vik is headed back to Bodie - that's cool; since I know nothing about BEV's
Why???
Impressive build but who thought it was a good idea to put high voltage 2 inches from the front of the car?
Agreed
if i only had money.....
It’s like the wipe🧻that never ends!💩😬
you guys know internal combustion engines still work just fine right?
MORE POWER!
Why not have a creep audio tone...?...😳😬🤣maybe like a trex rumble...?....or a static krackle ....?..or a turbine whine...
Hope we see it at SEMA
Tim Allen, you want a real project? Help me save Dodge/ Mopar. I have a plan (involves a new and improved 318 V8).
Way too complicated to be viable.
It is a DIY system. Mass Production level would integrate so many of these electrical components together
Too many layers of apparently contradicting CONTROLS...
AND NON-INTUITIVE DESIGN...
LOCATIONS OF JUNCTION BLOCK AT FRONT BUMPER
IS ACCIDENT ZONE #1...
LOL
IS DESIGNER THE INSTALLER..?
Goofy
Every video: no beginning and no end…you’re just dumped into a storyline already in progress with no conclusion.
Thank you for synopsis. Have you ever thought about being a UA-cam critic?
Conclusion coming soon!
Like the wipe🧻that never ends!💩😝

@@johnking489 and deep pockets 🙃
RRR 😮
Still won’t sound good! Gas pump preferred!
Tim: huh?!?

I am not offended by any language in the video. It was all proper English. 🤪👍🏻
😎💚💙👍👍🍺🍺🍻
UUUAH!

Cool for a toy, just not practical.
