Spent 14 and a half years in law enforcement... DUIs and Drunk and disorderly were the only things I hated dealing with. You're not dealing with the person... you're dealing with the alcohol. Part of their punishment should be to have to sit in court, totally sober, and watch the video of their actions in addition to any other punishment passed by the Judge or jury.

well now they dont have to because we have youtube doing it so in a way you have your wish because everyone seems to be aware and afraid of themselves being on youtube so hopefully the more it becomes known the better the lesson learned. and judges should say it during court, "lets hope this doesn't go viral" or something like that

Making a false statement under oath in an official proceeding is a Felony of the third degree in Pennsylvania.
      2. Making false statements
Knowingly making false statements or concealing information in a matter within the jurisdiction of the federal government can get you up to five years in federal prison, or up to eight years with certain enhancements.
      3. Unsworn falsification to authorities
Making a written false statement to a public servant with the intent to mislead them is a Misdemeanor of the second degree, plus a fine of at least $1,000.
      4. False reports to law enforcement
Falsely incriminating someone or reporting an incident to the police that never happened is a Misdemeanor of the second degree, plus years in prison and heavy fines.

1st offense (False Rap~ )- Automatic, $500. Fine and 200 hrs Community Service at Women's and Children Shelter
      2nd Offense (False Rap~ )- Automatic, $1000. (15% to go to Rap~ Victims, 15% to Children Education).And 1200 hr Community Service *at DV and/or Ba**ered Women's Shelter.
      3rd offense (False Rap~ )-
Automatic, 30 days in jail,$1500 fine (15% to go to Rap~ Victims, 15% to Children Education). And 5,000 hrs Community Service *at DV and/or Ba**ered Women's Shelter.
Any additional offense of False Reporting of Rap~- Automatic 5yrs in jail, $5,000. Fine (50% to state, 50% Education/children/victims).
Offense, not to be reduced. Offense, shall not be available for a plea deal or lesser Sentence or charge.
**Guaranteed people would stop making false claims.
Nothing will change until their is an actual consequence for the action. States must start following through. Stop being afraid to charge people. Think its about time, we place Judges that have balls to sit on the bench. And say bye-bye to the mommy Judges .

    • @DaveSmith-cp5kj
      @DaveSmith-cp5kj 4 місяці тому +20

It is, but we have a lot of corrupt courts now who straight up ignore the law. Like during Obama he put out an order to DOJ to not mention any narcotics violations so no one would have to be charged federally (as it is a mandatory sentence, it's not legal to ignore it like that). That created the massive drug trade in the country which was mostly under control after the 80s spike.

To be fair, there are some weird people out there. I broke my arm as a kid. I could do handstands on it, had full range of motion. My parents took me to the hospital five days later because the colour was so bad. They had to re-break it. I’ve broken and dislocated things since then, sometimes it hurts as one would expect, sometimes it really doesn’t.
