He looks very friendly 😊 I guess on the stage he not trying to be cool edgy and sayin CMON LOOK AT ME I CAN BEAT ALL THE SHIT FROM THIS PIECE OF WOOD!!! it's more like Hi guys, hey girls, time to play, isn't it?)
Kirk is clearly an old soul given his playing style/technique. As I listen to his licks, I wonder who he learned from. I'm 70 now, and know his sound from back in my earlier years. It's so nice to hear it again; it puts a smile on one's face. Thanks for that honey backed tone and groove. All the best.
Kirk is definitely one of of the most charismatic people you could ever meet. I never met him in person but he's got such a Gentle and inviting soul it's like , when he speaks you just get drawn in by his calming personality. I also like his musical approach to his tone and clean sound! Kirk has many admirable traits and his parents should be proud to have raised such a fine Young man!!
I love Kirk's style: he always plays with a blues feeling, and doesn't try to overplay to show-off his technical ability. That stratocaster's color is so pretty, but I'm not sure what it is: maybe it's "mystic seafoam", "race green", or "ocean turquoise" perhaps? It's more intense than either "surf green" or "seafoam green". I love that color!!!
With the new firmware it sounds even better. I purchased a Tone Master Super Reverb on December 2021 and, in my humble opinion, I find it much better sounding than the Twin and Deluxe counterparts. I highly recommend you trying one out and, by the way, it only weighs 36 lbs. Great playing and a great line from Fender.
I love watching these Fender videos, but this dude I had never heard if so I went to his UA-cam channel. He's music is awesome! Totally my kind of stuff.
I love the "fender" type distortion... that plexi sound seems to get all the attention, but that fender overdrive is just as good in a different way....
Cat I’m not even saying they’re shilling for Fender or anything. I have a SuperLead for my main amp to perform with, but I have a Fender Stage 100, as a backup. It’s a solid state, and cost me I think $140. I keep it because it’s small and light, and I know how to use it. But the headroom isn’t there, and I have to use petals to get it really humming. When they can make a dRRI that has all the features of this amp, and keep the tubes, with a switch to go tube or no tube. I’d pay an extra $200 for that. You know they could do it, but then no one would buy anymore new dRRI’s. 🤣
@@CorbCorbin Kirk uses a Katana Mini as his practice amp so doubt he's too obsessed w/ the tone wars, but in general professional players aren't who this is targeted for. It's for the gigging musician that has to lug, fix, care for an amp himself. Someone who wants 95% of the same sound, but would benefit from all the other benefits this kind of amp has as compared to the original.
My favorite blues player. And has has been stated, great smooth, centered personality. Fender did good to attract him. Great amp. Maybe the best ever for many genres. Thanks!
Very nice amp! One could argue that all Fender amps are cold-blooded. My favorite Fender amp of all time remains the '65 Twin Reverb. Granted it is on the heavy side. But, without a doubt, it is a stone cold natural born killer. If I can only have one amp, the Twin Reverb is my choice.
Wow, the more videos I watch of this new line of amps the more I wonder how anyone could complain about them. All I have heard was awesome tones that are very responsive to picking styles and the differences between sound from one type of guitar to another during the videos.
That's an MIM Vintera '50s Stratocaster. Just saying this for everybody looking for more videos of that guitar. I know I had to scour UA-cam before I got mine so hopefully this helps somebody out.
I bought the Blonde version, it’s great so far, especially light weight, I’m not so sure about the DI out, a very reputable FOH guy here in Vegas tried it in a showroom, told me it sounds ‘harsh’ and went Back to a 609 mic on the speaker, which he sad sounds good!
Eh, over listened to some comparisons between TM and tubes. What i didn't like was the lack of low. However, in this recording the low sounds much better than on other channels doing comparisons. So, the equipment used in recording makes a whole lot of a difference.. Edit: maybe it is just the greater guitarist that dialed the right knobs to have this one sound good?!
Nice tone dont need a million notes a minute to be convincing and to be musical ! What a beautiful blue on this strat I wish i would have chosen this blue on my USA strat plus than candy red that i've chosen !
@Don't Believe Da Hype You gotta wonder how many people will be turned off the entire idea of Fender's tonemaster thing when they're relaly just not into the noedymium speaker.
@Don't Believe Da Hype Now can someone explain to me why I have to buy a completely different one to get the bright switch "cut" out of it and why can't it just be a literal switch on the front since its all digital anyway? Want to preserve the historically correct facade? Fine. Put the bright cut on the rear panel.
I tried the Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb. It's simply AMAZING! I organize jams, I have to carry around 2 guitars and 2 amps (+ effects); having such a great tone in such a light package is a huge help! I'm saving money to buy it.
Great sounding guitar and amp. Great playing..but what I really like is that shirt. You're stylin' man!! Seriously - Fender - let's get some of the new stuff over here to Bangkok.
I am thinking of buying one; Fender read my mind when they developed this product. Original look, lightweight , attenuator, no changing tubes, all power & circuitry dedicated to doing one thing well - the sound of a deluxe reverb. I like simplicity. Many people say that modeling amps have come a long way. But there are two things I am trying to wrap my mind around. First - can this amp be fixed if it breaks down? Or do you just throw it out and have to buy another? Second - (see 4:35) I hate that this amp is a "Product of China".
I've noticed that the pickups on your guitar is so low and yet the volume is pretty good. W Percival from New Zealand 🇳🇿 Gardenia🌺 Band and Rarotonga Cook Islands 🇨🇰 Kia Orana
Still waiting for one of these pro endorsers to say "this is what I'm using from now on" instead of it's valve version. That would be the best endorsement.
Tried one of these in a closed off room at guitar center and was very impressed. Someone opened the door and had to see what I was playing through. A look of confusion and shock was on his face upon seeing the tonemaster amp plugged in. Amazing tone and fun to play. Looking forward to owning one.
Good sounds, good playing and wise words. I like the part about soft picking. A lot of people forget about that. On another note, he mentioned dealing with a sound man. Sometimes I wonder if they have too much power these days, at the expense of the music’s soul and essence. Can you imagine your typical 2019 sound guy trying to deal with Jimi Hendrix? “Jimi, these Marshalls are not going to work! They’re much too loud, and can’t you hear that distortion? Clean it up man! Here, try this Fender Deluxe. Much better, my man. And yes, cut out that feedback! People don’t want to hear that shit. Their ears can’t handle it!Got it? Good. Now let me go talk to Noel. We’re going to have him go directly into the PA. I’ll get him sounding much more refined. You dig?”
Kirk seems like the guy who'd give free hugs to everyone. A warm welcoming aura emits from him.
Kenneth Hernandez exactly! Got me at “Hi”

Fender have definitely chosen some superb players to demo these products
Every time I see Kirk in a video I’m impressed with his positivity. He comes across entirely authentic, and not in the Gibson sense.
I want a GPS with his voice
Finally a guy that can really play a deluxe the way it’s supposed to be played 😄 Kirk your awesome!!! Amps pretty good too! 😎
Kirk is up there with all my favourites. So humble and always has the best guitar sound.
I just bought this amp. It has great warm tube tone, deep lows and nice highs. A rich full bodied tone. I'm sure glad I bought it.
Those lovely warm lush tones are what I picture heaven sounds like....can't beat that beautiful clean Fender sounds!

Cornel Dupree was a big influence. Kirk is the most authentic blues man out there imo
Awww always great to hear Kirk! He is one of the best blues players out there! Love this!
Kirk Fletcher IS the Tonemaster 👏👏
I just bought one last week, and took it immediately to practice with my band. It reacts the same way my old DR does. It's my go to amp now.
Kirk is one of the best. Laid back at whatever he plays. 👍

Tim Stevens hahahaha same
Why is this man the nicest, most genuine man I've never met. I mean damn I'd buy any product this guy vouches for.
He's all about the music with big ears and a really sweet tone Ty kirk

Finally Kirk! Fender killing it lately. Doing it all right. Man Gibson is so far behind it's silly.
gibson is worse then ever
If you really want to hear how much behind GIbson is...go and play a Maybach Lester.
Their quality has been really good and their UA-cam series has been great. The only somewhat recent mistake was the whole "play authentic" thing.
Living in extreme climates and taking your amp out this makes so much sense.
Well done Fender! Great choice, Kirk is well loved everywhere in the world

Sounds awesome to my ears. Great playing. Didn't realize it wasn't a tube amp until late in the video
