My adivse as native Polish is; Learn Polish. Whichever country you go and plannig to stay you need to learn tje language. You have to remember that English is not administrative language in Poland not everyone will know it and you cannot expect every Polish person to know it.

in Poland you start study about 19 age, master degree 5 years, so on 24/25yyears old you finished your degree, you start working life, so you lose your student discount
    very fair for me
I supose medical student over 30year, still got this discount

re street food - we got good bakeries though (which i always miss when traveling outside mainland Europe) :)
re banking - as a polish person i got similar feelings about banking in Ireland - it feels around 15-20years behind polish : P
re deliveries - that's why everyone uses Paczkomaty

ahhh you got some bad experience there with the nurses.. it's like in other countries, with medical staff sometimes you gotta look around to find a good doctor or place to go for your medical concerns, i found them to be very helpful and nice, but of course i've also seen some grumpy staff, that exists in every country sadly :')

@@tosinadeleye8281 Is love leading her complaints about Poles? She expects them to figure out what she is speaking in English, when she is the one who has travelled to Poland, and she is certainly not demonstrating love by expecting them to complicate and increase their work by providing communication to HER in English. No one has forced her to go to Poland. Polish is a beautiful language, with books in Polish, poems in Polish, prayers in Polish and hymns in Polish which have been sung for hundreds of years. Does she expect Poles to abandon their heritage for her? Sadly, she has adopted English, and seems to have forsaken the language spoken before British colonization. Poles are not going to do that.

Sad about medical treatment by Nurses

    • @Lucas_Statuarius979

Well. It's still a relic from the communist regime times before 1989 that's still alive. I recommend you to also do a research on the Polish history to understand why there are still some unpleasant things. There is still a lot of good things about living here but the government is still not good at developing the country and that is the result of manipulation of the masses caused by post-communist cliques that just changed from red communism to blue communism (EU) which in essence does the same harm in a more refined way. Here in Poland are movements that gradually grow within the population to change the entire system starting from changing the core of our values to be more traditionalist, focused on the national interest and the reunion of men and woman for creating families with at least 3 children. All of the family members have to be compassionate and loving for each other instead of the woke war of everyone for their delusional privileges like for example feminism or masculinism and the core of our values is in Catholic teachings and we are becoming better through receiving the Holy Sacraments and spiritual warfare. We were colonized for a long time by Russians and Germans mainly so we share the experience of most Africans and we were invaded and some of our kin were enslaved by muslim arabs. That's why we are rather friendlier towards Africans than most of the european countries, especially those from western parts.

@@NurseJuliaEzeji Banking system in Poland is one of the most modern in Europe. We are way ahead of Germany, USA etc. So, it's a really good joke when you are saying that we are 15 years behind Nigeria :) In most banks you can set SMS warnings without any cost. I'm pretty sure that there was some kind of language barrier and you did not understand correctly. Hovewer that's also true that SMS is replaced by push messages, mobile banking and mobile apps. SMS is not safe - so by not using them we are ahead of Nigeria.
