    Great video thank you for all the informations , just an FYI from a comment 6 months later , the prices have changed a lot and inflation has kicked in brutally , so add at least 20% - 25% to the prices mentioned in this video if you are moving here

    • @wellcomehome
      @wellcomehome  2 роки тому +1

      You're right, the prices went up very much recently. The official inflation is 15,6% but as we all know some products went up even more. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it will slow down soon!

    Katowice is a affordable city, many things to do, I agree with 800zl per month for groceries, rent depend on the standard of the flat, you have cheaper and more expensive .. I pay 2700 a month for a 1 bathroom flat incl all costs, as a foreigner Katowice is very affordable I gues. Nice video 🙂

      Hello Pasha and thank you!
      As for the apartments: the best way is to search in on the internet on the most common rental platforms. We talk about them in our video: How to search for a flat in Poland. Make sure to check :)
      The "standard" fee is very different, but it may be around 1-month rent value. But, as always, everything depends :)

      Thank you, Agnaldo! The costs may vary in every city, so we're not able to give you exact numbers. Please also have in mind we face over 15% inflation currently so these prices may be already a little higher than provided in the video. Anyway, Trzebnica is not our top turistic place, so expect prices lower than in Kraków or Warszawa.
      And of course have a great time in Poland!

    In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments........

    • @wellcomehome
      @wellcomehome  11 місяців тому

      Hi! The property taxes in Poland depend on the size, not value. They are paid annually to the city, and rates are different to residential premises and commercial ones (the second ones to be more expensive).
      As for Katowice, taxes in 2023 are:
      -around 1 PLN / sqm for residential premises
      -around 29 PLN / sqm for commercial premises
      We hope this helps! 🤗

      Hello Dipali! In the video we provide an average calculation of total costs - so theoretically, including the inflation, you should be able to save half of your salary. But it's just an average calculation for one person. It's very individual and depends on many factors: number of people in the household, type and cost of flat, type of food you eat, means of transport you use. You'd have to calculate this for your household yourself concerning provided costs. Cheers!

    why do people come to Poland instead of for example germany? lol

    • @wellcomehome

      Because the competition is lower, cost of living is cheaper, there are more residential units on the market, many new professional opportunities are appearing? These are just some examples :)
